About: I have had a dog for 8 years and am considering adopting a sibling. This will be a great way to not only find some wonderful new doggy friends and families but to also acclimate my dog to having another dog in the house. I have a large fenced in yard and am home on weekends so my dog and I would welcome some company! I work full time during the week and am in the office 3 days so I work from home on Fridays and have weekends free! I have a fenced in yard and friendly dog who would love some company. I do also have a crate so can crate your pup as well or they can sleep in a bed, on the couch, wherever they are comfortable!

About: If loving a dog was a love language I’d be just that! I am very reliable, and giving. I have a house and a generous yard, and work remote. I have cared for plenty types of dogs growing up, and acquiring to each of their needs. It’s always my goal making them feel good when they are in my care. I work 2 days in the week at my office, and most the time home, otherwise I’m running errands. My schedule is pretty flexible. Communication is always key of course when it comes to timing, and plans. I have a nice long sized yard right next to my apartment building right out my door to take out the doggies for potty breaks, and general play time. If your dog needs to be in crate otherwise then play that’s totally okay as well.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in the house hold as far back as I could remember! I have a genuine love for animals in general but especially our canine friends. I've volunteered at Five Acres as well which included dog walks, playing with them in a gated play yard, cleaning up messes and washing bedding and toys. About: I've had my own cats for almost 6 years, I've volunteered at the Belleville Area Humane Society for around 4 months, and I do occasional dogsitting and housesitting for family friends when needed. Drop-ins/walks midday Mon-Thurs tend to be difficult as I have some breaks but can do before/after classes. I'll let you know if there is something happening during your requested time that will have me away from the house for longer than normal. During house sitting, I can provide food, medicine, play time, walks, and many other services. I also am willing to assist with house related things - bringing in mail, taking trash out for trash pickup, etc - just let me know and we can work it out. For walks and drop ins, my availability is generally flexible outside of classes/work and will work with you to determine the best time(s) to be there. I can also provide some house related services (like bring in mail and packages) upon request. Please note I do have in person classes and GA position at SIUE Monday through Friday, so availability is based upon schedule and distance from campus. I am available to help with the pets at the clients home. I can either stay at your place or go home at night, which I can work with you based on your needs and comfort. I have experience with gated and non gated yards (so needing to leash the dog when taking out for the potty), gates for inside the house, and crate training. Often I will have my own leash with me so that if anything happens, I'm prepared. As for walks, I often work with the dog(s) to see what triggers them and avoid as much as possible. I know not all dogs are friendly with other dogs or people so I am aware of my surroundings and provide appropriate distance and avoid people and dogs as best as I can.

About: I have had dogs my whole life and have been taking care of them since I was able to. I also would help my neighbors as a kid when they would go out of town. I have two dogs now and love them to death. I’m can walk, feed, bathe, and play with your pet. I am working when I am a free. So your pets care would be my first priority after getting up in the morning. If need over night that would work perfectly. If you have a fenced In yard. I would still go outside with them and have some play time if they would like. Also if we had to take them on a walk I would follow what the animal would like. About: Pets give us light in our lives, they love us unconditionally. Hi, my name is August, and I want to help you care for your four, three, and two legged furry family members! I understand the need to make sure your pets are taken care of while you're away; whether it be for a few hours or a few weeks, it still feels like forever. I am here to make things easier for you and your pet while you spend time away from each other. My experience comes from years of caring for my own dog, cat, and a few exotic pets as well as caring for my clients pets since 2017. During the time I watch your pup or kitty, for however long, I consider them my priority, and will treat them with that same love and care I would with my own family. You can also look forward to quality photo updates of your pet, as I double as a photographer when I can. Many of my clients tell me their dog or cat warms up to me faster than others, that they usually have trouble with people but not with me. No matter the case, when I meet your pet they will sense my energy, nature, and presence, and as a result, your dog or cat will feel very comfortable with me. 🙂 I look forward to taking care of you furbaby! I have a flexible schedule and this is my main job. I am home most of the day, if not all day, and never gone for more than a few hours. When I take care of your furry family members in the comfort of their home, I make sure they feel at ease by taking my time with them, letting them acclimate, and making sure they know they are safe. I tend to try to perform the same routines as my clients to create a sense of familiarity and consistency in the home. When I'm dogsitting in my home, I take a similar approach and make sure to acclimate them slowly and maintain the same routine they would have in their own home! I take one client at a time for this and maintain safety in my home.
About: I have my degree in Veterinary Technology and I have worked as a Zookeeper and a Adoption Counselor at the Humane Society. I have plenty of experience in caring for pets properly. I will make sure that your Fur-babies are well cared for and will love them as if they were one of my own. Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow- I absolutely love them all. I have a 12 year old lab, who has slowed down a lot. She is my everything. I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk or watch. I understand these are your babies. My house is set up well with a fenced in back yard and lots of attention and love offered. Let me know what questions or concerns you might have! I work Monday-Friday, I am usually free in the evenings and off on Thursdays typically. I’m free on most holidays(so keep that in mind).** I am free on most weekends. ** My job is flexible, 12 mins away, making it easy to drop by my house throughout the day. My house is open and I have a great fenced in area. Your dog will be spoiled rotten over here. Lots of pets and attention. I also know how important a walk is to a dog, it’s the highlight of their day! We’d make the most of it.
About: I’ve worked in Animal Welfare for three years now, and currently work at the belleville area humane society. I see myself continuing down this path and would like to broaden my horizons. I’m looking into starting training as well in the future. I work with dogs and cats daily. I have nights off and don’t usually have other activities that occupy my nights. My off days are usually completely free. I live in a house currently and let my dogs out leashed. I don’t do any unsupervised activities. When I have other pets in my home/care I stay alert.
