My senior cat has a pretty strict eating schedule and Mya was always punctual during the time frame we discussed, likely even on her days off. As I got older, I gained more responsibility and more training with the family dog. I have had a lot of experience with adopted dogs, young and old, and promise to provide the best care while you are away. My parent's current dog that I care for often also has given me experience with regular medication/monitoring health concerns while also providing superior care. If your dog loves to play outside, go for a run, soak in the sun and play tug of war (but also sneak a nap in too), I am your pet-sitter! I am currently a fitness coach that works non-normal hours, so I can spend time with your furry baby during the day! I can also stay long hours overnight if needed to keep your pet relaxed while you are away. Depending on the day, your pet could be alone for 4-8 hours a day with me. I will care for the pet's health concerns (including medication), make sure they have ample time outside (weather dependent) for potty time and exercise, and will care for their physical health if requested (ie brush coat or give bath). I will ask about how they interact with other dogs, people, animals so I can protect your pet and keep them safe.

About: I have had dogs most of my life. From my childhood dog to the ones I raised as an adult. I have potty-trained dogs to use a bell to indicate they have to go out, taught them to back away from table food, and to give up stolen items. I will treat your dog lovingly and as if they are my own. I am mostly retired and home the majority of the day. The dog will go no longer than 4 hours without a potty break, and most days it will be shorter than that. Your pet will be the only one in the house with me. I block off my stairs so the dog is always very close and mostly within eyesight.

However, David blamed me (!) for causing him to get up "an hour early" for the pick-up time despite the fact that I scheduled a one hour window for the same, and despite the fact the he accepted my booking request including this one hour window period. Thus, he expects a dog's pet guardian to arrive precisely at the beginning of the window period! This unreasonable, especially when it's set it up for just that-- a window period within which pet guardians may drop off their dog. Blaming customers for THEIR shortcomings is not only irresponsible, it's unprofessional.”

About: We've used Rover for years for our Zoey. It has always been great to know she is safe and happy when we're away. We want to provide that same relief when you need to be away from your furry friend. We've had dogs for 20 years and that doesn't even count the pets we had growing up. We will provide your dog with all the comforts of home including a big fenced in yard. Although I normally work outside of the house, my husband James works from home and our daughter lives here while in college. That means lots of love and care for your doggies throughout the day. Safety is our top priority so you can feel confident in leaving your pet in our care. We have a large, fenced in yard. We understand anxious pets because we have one! We promise pictures and updates (if that's what you'd like!)
