“Leslie is a wonderful sitter for our pet Brinkley. We have used her several times and Brinkley is always happy and well taken care of each and every time. I drive over 30 miles to get her service and I wouldn’t leave our pet Brinkley with anyone else.”

“Julia was fantastic! She took such great care of my dog, did more than I even expected of her. And kept up with any questions I may have had while I was gone and updated me with photos. Would book again. I could tell my dog fell in love with her and her dog while I was away.”

“Nichole was awesome! Sent lots of photos and updates throughout the whole week. We are first time Rover users and she definitely made us and our pup feel very comfortable with a great experience all around!”

“Heather took great care of our girl, Ella, while we were away for a week! She sent daily updates and lots of photos. Heather was very responsive and accommodating and when our flight home was delayed!”

“We enjoyed seeing our senior dog outside playing with other dogs in Eloise’s care. She has always provided the best care and makes sure his routine is followed. He’s a happy pup when he comes home.”
“Danielle was absolutely amazing with my dog Winston! She does such a great job sending updates, pictures and videos throughout the stay. Danielle is a really good communicator always making sure I know what’s going on as well as making sure she’s giving my dog the best care. She truly cared for my dog like he was her own. Danielle even made a cute little photo card of Winston and his new friends to go home with! She was the absolute best and I will definitely be using her again!”

“Lindsey was incredible with our 7-month-old German Shepherd, Luna! Luna is usually scared of people when she first meets them, but Lindsey quickly made her feel comfortable and at ease. This was Luna’s first time away from us, and Lindsey went above and beyond to ensure she was happy and well cared for. She followed all of our instructions perfectly and even sent us regular photos, which gave us so much peace of mind knowing Luna was in great hands. We came home to a happy, relaxed pup, and Lindsey will absolutely be our first choice if we need a sitter again. Highly recommend!”

“Rolanda was amazing! She was extremely nice throughout the entire process and helped me with any questions I had. She constantly kept me updated with pictures and it looked like my Bella had so much fun. From drop off to pick up she was just incredible and it was a really smooth process. Her communication is on point and she kept me comfortable throughout the process. Being that this was the first time I used this app I was nervous, but not anymore; I will definitely be using her again!”

“Jasmine was the bomb super nice and caring. She also sends pics and she wash my baby and got her eye boogers out. Thank you Jas. Easy to work with and contact. I will def use her again and I recommend her totally. Thank you rover and thank you Jasmine. P.s. when Jas ask could she say bye to my Hunni I was super touched.”

“Jeff’s house is well appointed for your fur babies. My babies enjoyed the freedom of the fenced in yard, and found their own places in his home. Jeff had a water bowl out for them and I thought that was neat. He was very observant of their time outside in the heat. Jeff goes over and above and keeps in great contact. He really “gets” our dog’s personality traits. No problems, no worries, just great service. Go with the best. Thanks, Jeff.”

“Just what I was looking for. My dog was instantly comfortable in Eleanor's house and yard and when we went back for a second visit, my dog could not get into her house fast enough. That spoke volumes to me. Eleanor is wonderful and I will tell all my friends about my great experience with her. I finally found a place I can trust for my dog.”

“Noel and his family were wonderful. Everyone gave Tom love and affection. I have no doubt that he felt very well looked after. Every day she didn't hesitate to respond to my messages and send photos. It reassures us a lot when we know that our pet friends are in good hands.”

“Anna was fantastic to our old guy! We needed emergent care for our dog and she was available and responsive. She was very welcoming and sent regular updates. She even made him a little stand for his bowls to make eating and drinking more comfortable. We are so grateful for Anna taking such good care of our little man.”

About: I’ve taken care of three personal pets as well as pets of family members as well, including aunts, cousins and even my grandma. I’ve take care of most of them since they were babies and helped train them as well. I currently work full-time at Riverside medical center. My off days are Thursdays for one week and Tuesdays and the weekends for the next. I would be free anytime after 3 on my workdays and my off days are free game and I’d be willing to fill in anytime. My pet at home is properly taken care of and fed. We do periodically potty breaks and feed her whenever she wants food. Also, she’s given baths from time to time as well.
About: Lifelong animal lover experienced in river walks, companion feedings, and earning a sly cat’s trust. I will make sure your pets are happy, SAFE, and completely spoiled while you’re away! I only care for one “pack” at a time, which means your pets get my undivided attention and personalized care- whether they are boarding or just visiting for the day. After a recent career shift, I’ve found myself with more flexibility in my schedule—and I’ve decided to dedicate that time to doing something I LOVE! I’m excited to spend my days surrounded by wagging tails, happy purrs and plenty of personality. Your pet’s safety is my priority. I closely supervise all outdoor time—my yard is unfenced, so your dog will never be outside unattended. I use a secure ground lead (rated for 125 lbs) or a long leash held in hand. I prefer dogs to wear a harness while in my care. On walks, I stay alert to our surroundings, watch for potential triggers, and use redirection when needed. I’ll also follow your pet’s routine and your preferences as closely as possible to help make their stay comfortable and stress-free.
“It's hard to find someone as caring as Danielle to watch over your pup. She allowed me to bring Princess Eloise to meet her and her pups before I left Elli there for a full day. More importantly, after the first full day, I could tell right away that Elli had a very good day at 'school'. On a side note, her house is very clean with no smell of animals at all. She definitely takes pride in what she does. I highly recommend Danielle to care of your fur baby!”

About: My husband and I are very unique. We would have a farm if we could. We live in a smaller home, but have so much love between our pets and kids. I hope we can raise our 3 kids to love animals as much as we do. I have been a pet sitter for about 15 years, but grew up in a house of animals. My family's huge animal lovers. I have stayed for weeks at a time with families, dog walked, issued medicine to pets, and just simply stopped in to let them out and hang for a bit. We have had dogs and cats stay with us while families are on vacation and made it work perfectly. My kids knowing they are small, are great w the animals too. I am just excited to make your fur baby feel safe and loved while you're away. *Update: We just added bathing and nail clipping as an add on option! My husband's mom owned the Canine Clipper that was in business for over 30 years. He grew up as cheap labor for 15 years in the shop washing, drying and trimming nails of any cats and dogs that came. We do not offer grooming services as that is not in our wheelhouse. Have you pet come home feeling and smelling fresh! I just had our new baby born on August 8th this year. I have three boys that I am obsessed with. I love being a boy mama 💙 I am a personal trainer but have cut back on hours so I can hang w my kids while they are young. I sometimes forget about how I was a nanny for 10 years and a dog sitter for about 15. I would love to do my passion again knowing I have so much more free time at home. My 5 year old is in school all day, my 3 year old has preschool twice a week for 2 hrs, and my newborn just goes for the ride. I'm always home on the weekends, and during the week I'm always looking to do something-which I would love to show my kids how to treat animals. If your pet is not good w kids, I can also drop them off w their grandma for a bit. I always make it happen ❤️ She loves some grandson time. All our pets are spoiled because they are our family too. Our dogs have dog beds all around, even though they sleep on couches and beds w us. The cats have cat towers and toys and get the free range of the house. We used to have a nanny because I wanted someone here for the kids, but also the pets. It always made me feel better knowing someone would always be there for them too.
“Eloise was great! She has a nice fenced yard that our outdoor loving pup loved. Eloise is clearly a kind dog lover who appreciated our sweet girl. Eloise was flexible and understanding whem our plans inadvertently changed. I highly Recommend her !!”

“Noel was amazing! It was our first time leaving our puppy with someone during the day. He was so excited to see her every morning. We cannot recommend Noel enough. Will be using her in the future!!!!”

About: My husband and I have been dog owners for many years. We recently lost our Yorkie, Sage, at age 12 to cancer. We decided to not get another dog at this time, but would love to be a pet sitter for your precious pup. Both my husband and I are retired and have regular availability. One of us is home at most times. We would require to meet your pup before the stay to ensure good compatibility. We would walk your dog on a leash. Our yard is large, but not fenced. Easy access for potty breaks. We will have open access to our home unless crating is your preference.
About: I have had pets for 40 years and taken care of others' pets for 30 years. I am a reliable, peppy, retired teacher and counselor. Currently I have open availability. I am retired and want to build my pet/home sitting business. I welcome any and all requests for pet or home sitting as I build my business. I do not have any pets of my own. I lost my precious kitty last year and am not ready to add a new pet to my home. I do however have 3 grand kitties and 3 granddogs that I take care of and walk. As a caregiver to your pet I can provide focused attention to your pet. I do not have a fenced yard but am ready, willing and able to provide excellent walks for your pet.
About: ‼️Please read entirety of bio prior to sending a booking request Please note: My Rover profile information may not always be the most up to date, as I also own and operate my own pet care business - but I still get notifications here! Please message me so we can discuss your specific needs and availability! Hi, I’m Bee! I’m a medically retired police officer turned professional pet care provider. Pet care is my full-time work, not a side hobby. I take a calm, structured, safety-first approach and focus on low-stress care that allows pets to feel secure, respected, and comfortable. I have years of hands-on experience with pets of all sizes, ages, and temperaments, including seniors, rescues, anxious dogs, puppies, large breeds, and special-needs pets. ⸻ What I Offer • In-home dog boarding in a low-volume, structured environment • Structured dog daycare with supervised play and rest breaks • Drop-in visits for feeding, potty breaks, enrichment, and medications • Dog walks tailored to your dog’s comfort, energy level (must not pull heavily on leash) • Care for seniors, rescues, anxious, and special-needs dogs • Slow, intentional introductions and individualized care plans • Solo or one-on-one care options when appropriate for daycare and boarding • Real-time updates with plenty of photos and detailed written notes ‼️I do not provide boarding or daycare for cats, and I do not offer overnight stays in clients’ homes. ‼️Meet and Greets are mandatory to schedule any service. ‼️My two dogs, Trooper and Moose, will NOT be present for the meet and greet for boarding and daycare ‼️Dates are not reserved unless a deposit is prepaid in advance. ‼️Dogs must be crate trained to stay at Bee’s Bed and Barkfast daycare and boarding. This is a non negotiable for safety, feeding, rest and safe transitions. ‼️Boarding can be booked anytime, as long as the dates are within the next 3 months. I do not book out more than 3 months in advance. I am available generally anytime between sunrise and sunset. Due to a vision disability, I may occasionally need to adjust timing on very rainy days, and I do not drive after dark. If weather requires a schedule shift, I’ll always communicate in advance and ensure your pet still receives attentive, high-quality care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and emotional well-being are my top priorities. I provide intentional, structured care designed to reduce stress, prevent issues before they happen, and create a calm, predictable experience for both pets and owners. This applies whether I’m caring for your pet in your home or in mine. How I care for pets & homes: • Safety-first, prevention-focused handling at all times • Calm routines that prioritize rest, enrichment, and emotional regulation • Respectful care of your home… clean, secure, and exactly how you left it • Doors, gates, leashes, and feeding instructions double-checked every visit • Clear, proactive communication so you’re never left wondering how things are going Boarding & Daycare Environment: • Low-volume, home-based care, not a brick and mortar storefront or warehouse-style daycare • Structured daycare with supervised interactions and enforced rest breaks • Slow, intentional introductions tailored to each dog’s comfort level • Solo or one-on-one care available for dogs who need space or prefer independence at an increased rate • Crate training mandatory to ensure smooth transitions and safety How I differ from other sitters: • I do not force interactions or “let dogs work it out” • I do not overbook or rotate large groups of unfamiliar dogs • I do not take a one-size-fits-all approach Instead, I focus on individualized care, clear boundaries, and calm structure, the kind of environment where dogs can truly settle, decompress, and feel secure.
“She was very warm and welcoming from the very beginning..My dogs took to her! She answer all my questions and concerns.I will definitely recommend her to anyone who needs their dog looked after.”

“Very accommodating on such short notice! Sent plenty of pictures of our precious Charlie boy during his daycare stay to let us know he was doing ok! Our dog seemed really comfortable and calm in her care! We will use her again in the future!”

About: I'm 50 years old, and have mostly owned pit bull breed dogs, but I love all breeds. From 2010 to 2018, my APBT was trained as a therapy animal, we did hospital visits and library events with children. I taught him several tricks, such as left, right, speak, play dead. My current pit is a rescue and I am off leash training. Dog Walking: I work in the Kankakee area, so coming to walk your dog in Kankakee, Bradley, Bourbonnais, is NO problem! Either in the mornings (after 7am) and/or later in the evenings (8ish pm) it's all negotiable. I live in Iroquois county, so I have more availability to walk your dog if you are in that area. Pet Sitting: I can come to sit in your home, if that is preferred. I am also available to just come let them outside, spend time and play, feed, water, clean up. Boarding: I would love to open our home to your precious babies. Non smoking, fenced in yard, lots of walks in my small town. My dog friendly pup can't wait to play tag around the dining room table. All pets are welcome on the couches and have full access to the entire 1st floor, including the bed in the spare room. My husband and I work different shifts, so someone is usually always home. A maximum of 3 to 4 hours of an occasional overlap in shifts. I am able to crate your pet if preferred, or close off access to half of the living space. Before boarding, a few meet and greets are necessary. More details as we move forward. Cats: I will help with your cats, spending time, play, feed, clean litter boxes. I also have several years of experience with birds. I know how important socializing is to birds, and leaving them alone can cause problems and stress. Boarding of cats and birds can be discussed. As I'm nearing retirement from the Healthcare field, I would like to do more of what I love, which is caring for and spending time with animals. If I can do that for you, and ease your worry while you are away, it's a win for everyone! Reach out and let me help you today. As far as boarding your dog, my husband and I work different shifts, so someone is always home. A fully fenced back yard and good sniffer walks in my small town. Your dog is welcome on the couches and downstairs bed. Access to entire 1st floor. I can also crate if preferred. Baths and nail trims are no problem! I have a 60lb staffordshire terrier who loves all kids, people and dogs. It's playtime almost 24/7! Unless it's nap time and he's professional at that also!
About: I grew up surrounded by animals, therefore I am conscious of how to care for dogs in any situation and in any type of weather and/or environment. When I'm on the go, I make sure to have a well-packed bag with treats(let me know what your dog's favorite treat is), potty bags, water bottles, sanitizer, and a travel-size first aid kit. I make sure to clean up thoroughly after breakfast, snack, and dinner time. I make all sorts of checklists so if you like to have things done a certain way, make as many lists as you want or need. I'm open to receive any and all constructive criticism. Feel free to leave any other comments, questions, concerns. I look forward to meeting your dog and work with you!
“Alicia went above and beyond for our baby Jett!! We were in a panic because our original sitter had to cancel last minute and Alicia responded to my request right away and was willing to help us out. She had great communication with us and sent us regular updates through the day. She even took the cutest Christmas photo shoot of Jett! We could not be happier! So thankful to have found Alicia! We will definitely be coming back when we’re in town 😊”

“Hey there. My name is pattie and Jordan came to walk both of my dogs. He was great! His communication couldn’t have been any better. My dogs are like my children, so I love to know when he arrives, leaves and filled the dog bowls with food and water. He was very attentive. I will gladly be rebooking in the future.”

About: I love animals. I have owned a horse, birds and fish. Although I never owned a dog or cat, Friends and family have always asked me to pet sit and I have always been more than happy to ablige. As a former letter Carrier, my favorite customers were four-legged. I am retired and want to stay active. Who can keep you more fit and active than a dog that is waiting for a walk-date? When I have dog sat, I usually go for multiple walks. I can walk all day. The dogs love it and it makes them tired. Animals need mental stimulation outside of their house or yard just like people. I try to find things to keep us both busy and happy.

About: I have experience caring for a variety of pets with different needs and routines. I have taken care of a 1-year-old cat along with 3 other adult cats, including a cat who required at least 30 minutes of playtime and interaction every day. I have also cared for a large dog who ate home-cooked soup mixed with his food at specific feeding times, as well as a husky who stayed in an air-conditioned dog house unit and required daily vitamins and attentive care. I am good at following direction for the desired care you and your pet need. I work remotely and any activities I plan I would plan around a schedule if at all with the pet in mind. I will plan in advance for the openings I have in my schedule to permit me to be with the pet. I typically stay in the pets home to create a less stressful environment for the pet and go about its daily routine as instructed by the pet owner. I will stay as long as required by the pet owner or stay in a guest bedroom all day depending on what makes the pet owner most comfortable with.

About: I have loved and owned dogs since i was 10, I'm not a professional trainer but i have trained my own dogs in obedience and nosework. I have a secure 4-ft chain link fence and supervise your pet during outdoor time. My two dogs and a friendly visitor dog provide great company and play opportunities.

“She, was great with the care of my furry friend, who at times could be difficult, but she managed the care for him, just as good or better then myself. She will always be my first choice, when it comes to me leaving him with someone that I truly trust. Again Susan thank you.”

“Janet and her husband made us feel very comfortable with leaving our new dog with them right away during their meet and greet. We can tell they truly love dogs and we’re pretty sure our dog was sad to come home because he had such a great time. Highly recommend!”

“Lali was awesome! Being new to the area. We had a hard time putting our trust in someone who could watch Rusty. He came home clean and happy!! Her dogs played really well with him. No issues whatsoever.”
