“We needed care for our almost 13 year old quirky dog, Lucy for a week while we traveled to Michigan to be with my mom while she had major surgery/recovery. I found Debbie on Rover and contacted her regarding boarding Lucy while we were gone. On the phone, I immediately felt comfortable with Debbie. We chatted for 15-20 minutes and I told her all of Lucy's "quirks." She invited us over for a meet and greet right away to ensure Lucy (and us) felt comfortable. Our Lucy has been recovering from a leg injury and also has been a VERY picky eater. Therefore we needed someone that would be very patient with her. Debbie and her family were amazing. Debbie and her husband were able to get Lucy to eat regularly and also take her vitamins! This has been a feat for us let me tell you! They even taught me a couple tricks to get Lucy to eat her vitamins! And since Lucy has come home, she has been so much better with her eating and her leg as well! I couldn’t be more happy ? We received updates every single day...and Debbie took so many beautiful photos of Lucy. She really has a talent for photography! I never had to worry for a minute about Lucy. About: I ❤️cats! I will check in on them, feed them, clean up after them, play with them, cuddle with them, give them medicine, but I can’t take them home anymore or spend the night, unfortunately. I fostered a beautiful black cat named Ping through the covid shutdown and found that fighting allergies 24/7 was too much, but a simple Claritin allows me to still enjoy their company (at their residence) during the day.
About: I have had dogs, cats and pets of all types since childhood. Often referred to as “The chosen one” in my own home because of my relationship with our dog and cat. I am frequently asked to look after our neighbors dogs. Experienced at administering injections and IV fluids as well. I am recently retired and find myself with far more free time. About: I've been watching dogs for family and family friends for 15 years now, before I could drive myself. I've watched many dogs with special raw Diets, and dogs that have needed insulin shots. I have never encountered a scenario I couldn't handle. I'm working full-time, but have great hours, and would spend most of my time with the animals. I'm around and available all weekends. “We needed care for our almost 13 year old quirky dog, Lucy for a week while we traveled to Michigan to be with my mom while she had major surgery/recovery. I found Debbie on Rover and contacted her regarding boarding Lucy while we were gone. On the phone, I immediately felt comfortable with Debbie. We chatted for 15-20 minutes and I told her all of Lucy's "quirks." She invited us over for a meet and greet right away to ensure Lucy (and us) felt comfortable. Our Lucy has been recovering from a leg injury and also has been a VERY picky eater. Therefore we needed someone that would be very patient with her. Debbie and her family were amazing. Debbie and her husband were able to get Lucy to eat regularly and also take her vitamins! This has been a feat for us let me tell you! They even taught me a couple tricks to get Lucy to eat her vitamins! And since Lucy has come home, she has been so much better with her eating and her leg as well! I couldn’t be more happy ? We received updates every single day...and Debbie took so many beautiful photos of Lucy. She really has a talent for photography! I never had to worry for a minute about Lucy. She was spoiled rotten by Debbie and her family. We cannot express how grateful we are to have found Debbie and her family.”

“Highly recommend Rusty. On our meet & greet, he carefully introduced Kali to Banjo both outside and then inside to ensure no personality clashes. He asked many questions to ensure he knew Kali and her needs. On our drop off date, she immediately greated Rusty as an old friend. He took great care of Kali, sending messages & videos daily. His house and fenced yard are perfect for dogs. Kalid came home clean (even tho it rained a lot), happy, and tired! He responded quicky to our frequent txt updates on drop off & pickup times, due to traffic issues. Will book again and recommend him for your doggy care.”

About: I have had dogs my whole life. Watching family and friends dogs gives me great joy! Dogs have been a part of my whole life. I love them dearly, my sister in law travels quite often which gives me the opportunity to watch her two dogs. One is a puppy full of energy and they are so fun to spend time with and play. Love going on walks to the forest preserves out in nature. let me be your dogs new friend. I work four days a week Tuesday thru Friday until 3:30pm. I'm available for boarding Friday nights thru Monday. I can take dogs for walks on Mondays, Weekends, and Tuesday-Friday after 4. I have a big home plenty of space to run around and play. My backyard is good size and fenced in. I can update you with photos of your dog. I can maintain the feeding schedule as required. I will make sure your dog has plenty outdoor time walks or just playing in my yard.
