“Kimberly was great! It was my first time using this app and leaving my dog in the care of a stranger. But my pup was right at home as soon as she arrived. Kimberly sent the cutest photos and updates. I knew my pup was in good hands. And when I went to pick up my pup, she was excited to see me but went back inside like she was totally down with not leaving.”

“Bentley loves going over and staying with John. He has a fenced in yard with doggie door. Bentley loves to play with other dogs and always comes home tired and happy. Already have another scheduled time with John.”

About: I have experience fostering dogs with the animal shelter APL and have a small toy poodle of my own. He is very friendly with other dogs and loves to play. I love dogs and would love to have the opportunity to watch dogs and take care of others! I am open to watching dogs for a couple hours, a day, or even a couple of days if that is what is needed. My house has a small backyard and I am also available to do drop ins at the dogs own home. The area is very quiet and would be comfortable for another dog to be in. If I am caring for someone else's dog I plan on being home for the time I'm watching the dog so that it will be well taken care of. I’m currently only working part time so I have plenty of time to spend with your animals. I am available early mornings or early afternoons to give your animal a break during the workday! I am also available any time on the weekends. I have a fenced in yard and 2 friendly dogs to keep your dog company. I have a toy poodle and a golden retriever. I can also do drops in to walk or play with your dog as well!
“It was comforting to know that Pepper was in a comfortable space, room to run outside, with plenty of people and pup friends to keep him occupied while we were on vacation! Kyle and Lyndzie sent lots of updates throughout the week too! Gave us peace of mind and we would definitely book with them again!”

About: I have at somepoint had 100+ pets with my ex that we took care of together. I have adopted "agressive" pets only for them just needing a loving home to feel comfortable. We also fostered a bunch of pets to help when APL was struggling for space. I do have a very busy schedule myself. However I make time to spend with our pets. We make homemade food for them and have a bunch of toys for them to play with. My partner is a stay at home spouse so no one gets into too much mischief. I view pets as family members and they have the comfort of laying on the couch and bed with us. We have a decently big yard with a fence for them to run about and have outside time.
About: Ive been a home based professional pet grooming in the Springfield/Riverton area for over 30 years, I offer enrichment based services and continue my education thru online classes and in person seminars to stay up to date on the latest health and wellness issues.I am licensed thru Dept of agriculture, an IBPSA member, PACCC animal care provider, Fear free certified, first aid/CPR certified, Hero for healthy pets certified, a member of NDGAA, NCGI and working on becoming an AKC good citizen dog trainer. Im expanding my enrichment based dog grooming business to boarding and daycare. I am currently home based working several days a week as a pet groomer, and we also have farm animals and 5 dogs and 2 cats in our home. All dogs are double leashed and fitted with an air tag when going outside for potty breaks and play time. I do not let dogs outside unleashed or unsupervised. We have a country type environment and do nature walks as well as many mental stimulus type activities
“This was our first time using the Rover app, so it was our first time with Megan. After meeting her, I had such peace. The dogs had fun at her house, and I love the updates she gave me! We will definitely be using her again!”

“Amy was absolutely incredible with Thor, Arya, and Binx while I was away. She was so sweet, responsive, attentive, and truly loved my babies like they were her own. She even took Thor to the emergency vet for me when something unexpected came up, and I genuinely cannot express how grateful I am for the care and kindness she showed throughout everything. Coming home to happy, loved, well cared for pets meant the world to me. I would recommend her to anyone and everyone without hesitation.”

“Samantha was amazing! Super communicative and transparent - my cat warmed up to her right away. She was also flexible with us with our last minute booking, which I appreciated.”

“Thank you! Great pet sitter, came in and hung out with my cat (who usually is very shy but liked Anna) and made sure all of my cat’s needs were taken care of. Very communicative with each visit and responsive when I had requests/questions.”

“Tristen was always prompt and timely wirh her check ins and sent me adorable pictures and videos. My cat was very well taken care of! Would definitely recommend her.”

About: Hello! I’m 20 years old and a lifelong animal lover who’d love to offer friendly and trustworthy care. All my life I’ve had a sweet spot for animals, I have a furry friend of my own I’ve recently adopted almost a year ago now. I provide safe and engaging walks with lots of attention. Growing up I have always been around animals, my grandma currently has a senior dog (cocker spaniel) so I have some experience with administering medication. Larger dogs are no problem for me. I’m currently looking for something fun and active to fulfill my time with, I’d love to be a resource for you and your pet! I’m currently free in the mornings and afternoons to care for and walk your pups! I’m looking for fun things to fill my day with. I provide attentive care by ensuring feeding, playtime, comfort, and a clean stress-free environment. While on walks I will be sure to keep them active and safe.
About: We’ve been hugging dogs since we were kids, and we’d love to hug yours! Penny, Ciel, and our family enjoy hosting furry friends - we take care of them and our pups play hard with them! Please note: *We cannot currently accept bookings for unneutered/intact male pups *We host a large, rambunctious group of pups throughout the week - pups who prefer quiet, calm environments may not have an enjoyable experience here, and we will happily recommend sitters who may be a better fit for your family Hosting pups is our full-time job - your pups become part of our family while they’re here! We spend our days with our guests, playing and chatting with them, and can attend to everyone’s needs regularly throughout the day. Our 24/7 dedication to giving your pups the best experience while away from your home makes us a great choice for day care and socialization opportunities! We accept bookings between 7am and 7pm; we will consider bookings outside these hours on a case by case basis, potentially for an additional cost. Our availability for picking up and dropping off is limited but we aim to be as flexible as possible. Reach out with your needs and we’ll work out an arrangement that works best for all of us! Our entire yard is fenced in - there’s room to run full speed! We can adjust feeding schedules as needed to accommodate your dog’s diet. In good weather, pups are free to go inside and outside at their leisure. We don’t require pups to use crates while we’re gone or overnight, but if you prefer your pup be crated at any time, we’re happy to do that and have multiple available. Male pups will wear a belly band for the first 24 hours of their stay, at minimum - this soft, absorbent band fits around their belly and attaches with Velcro on their back. Belly bands reduce marking behavior, especially in unneutered males. You may bring your own, but we can supply them, free of charge. Using belly bands keeps our home calmer, cleaner, and fresher by eliminating marking behavior and reduces anxiety for future pups by giving them less reason to want to mark over the scent of previous pups. We have indoor and outdoor security cameras in many locations that can be helpful to review if any safety situations arise. The safety of all of our pups is very important to us! (They’re also great for catching fun footage!)

About: I have had cats all my life! Long hair, short hair big or small all need care, from pets and scratches to clean boxes and play time! I have cared for new born kittens when the mother was gone and elderly cats that need a little extra love.
“Sarah did an excellent job checking in on my cat while I was on vacation. She met with me beforehand to get to know my pet's needs and sent me update pictures of him while I was gone. It made my trip so much more enjoyable knowing I had a reliable person checking in on him and I will definitely use Sarah again in the future.”
“Taylor was able to take care of my fur babies on super short notice during a holiday - I can't thank her enough for her quick responses, flexible availablity, and the overwhelming care she puts into loved fur babies”

“This was our first time hiring an outside sitter and Francesca was such a blessing for us to find! Our normal coverage plans change and we were last minute searching for someone to look in on our two younger Maine-Coons, while we were going to be out of town for a holiday week trip. Francesca was pleasantly friendly, easy to communicate with and our large kittens loved her! (The treats she brought didn't hurt the interaction either 😊) It was a great first time experience on Rover and now we know who we will be contacting first the next time!”

“Kiri took care of my shy kitty with such care that she was in good spirits when I returned! Kiri is reliable, sent photos + updates each day, and was sensitive to my cat's individual needs. I would trust her again in a heartbeat!”

About: In my 10 years of pet sitting, I have had the privilege of caring for countless furry companions, each leaving an indelible mark on my heart. From energetic pups to wise senior dogs, I have witnessed the incredible bond that exists between pets and their owners. Through walks in the park, cozy snuggles, and endless playtime, I have come to understand the true joy and responsibility that comes with providing exceptional care for these beloved family members. My carefully crafted schedule for taking care of pups seamlessly integrates into my lifestyle, ensuring their needs are met while allowing me to maintain a balanced routine. About: I have cared for and watched after a variety of furry friends. Big or small, I love them and often times they love me back. I am currently working from home full time so I will have plenty of time to play with and spoil your fur baby. This also gives me plenty of opportunity to be with some of the babies that aren’t accustomed to being alone throughout the day! I have an open floor plan which allows me to keep an eye on your fur babe at all times. I also have a balcony that helps with getting plenty of fresh air even on cold or rainy days.
About: Hi! I am reliable, friendly and very flexible with my schedule. Dog sitting has been the thing I didn’t know I needed in my life! I wish I could have one of my own but it’s not the right time for me. I would love to care for your pet. I helped raise/train my childhood dog, have taken care of puppies, deaf animals, and gained the approval of a very protective and anxious Doberman with lots of patience and attention (my greatest accomplishment). Any and all instructions you leave for me will be followed with utmost care to keep you and your pet happy! I am a fine artist with a MFA in painting, and I take on interior design and other creative jobs as a freelancer. I will be traveling starting August 25th, but will be back late November. I love being outside, exercising, and hanging at parks, so I’m glad to be joined by a pup and will give them all the love. My routine already involves walks/runs outside and being home a lot, so it fits in great! When i’m not working, I am exercising, planning, making art and reading. I am very available to provide proper pet care and give pets the attention they need. My schedule changes by the days and weeks. In caring for the pet in their home, I make sure to know where everything is that I need and respect the home in making sure the pet doesn’t make a mess.
About: I grew up always having/taking care of dogs. I also pet sit regularly now. I love animals and would love to have this as something to do outside of work! I also have two kitties named Blue and Harley, so have a lot of experience with cheeky cats, too. I currently work from home, so all I need is my hotspot and laptop. I can house sit for you basically for any length of time and any day/time. I have reliable transportation. I try to leave the home as good as or better than I found it. I truly do love caring for animals.
“Kelly was great with our two dogs. We are not local to the area, so it was great to have her help to find some of the local places to take them for playtime, too. Her rates are very reasonable and she worked with us to find a price that worked for everyone. I would highly recommend Kelly to anyone looking for a pet sitter.”

Many of my clients have animals with medical needs, anxiety, blindness, mobility challenges, or strict routines, and they trust me to provide compassionate, detail-oriented care while they’re away. I’m also very comfortable with multi-pet households, rural properties, and farm animals. Having grown up on a farm myself, I understand the responsibility that comes with caring for animals large and small, as well as maintaining a home and property with respect and reliability. My goal is simple: to give you peace of mind, keep your pets safe and happy, and treat your home with the same care I would my own. -20+ years caring for animals of all species and temperaments -Veterinary assistant training, including surgery assistance -Medication administration (oral, topical, injections if required) -Special-needs pets (blind, senior, diabetic, post-surgical, anxious) -Farm and rural animal care -House sitting and extended stays -Potty training and behavioral reinforcement -I’m calm under pressure, attentive to detail, and deeply respectful of routines — especially when animals depend on consistency. Pet care is intentionally woven into my daily and weekly routine, not added on as an afterthought. I structure my schedule around the animals in my care so they receive consistent attention, enrichment, and calm companionship throughout the day. This allows me to be fully present for feedings, walks, playtime, medication needs, and individualized routines, while also offering flexibility for pets who need extra time, patience, or reassurance. Caring for animals isn’t something I squeeze in — it’s what my days are built around. Safety, trust, and comfort are the foundation of every service I provide. Whether caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I prioritize calm, consistency, and close supervision. I take time to learn each pet’s routine, preferences, and any special needs so their care feels familiar and stress-free. In my home, pets are welcomed into a clean, secure, and peaceful environment with plenty of space to relax and play. Supervised outdoor time is provided in a safely contained area, and all interactions are thoughtfully managed to ensure each animal feels comfortable and respected. “Anna is the best! Friendly and communicative, goes above and beyond. I’m always grateful and relieved when she is available and my dogs are always excited to spend time with her when I’m away. Can’t express more gratitude for Anna!”
About: I have pet sat dogs, cats, guinea pigs, birds, snakes, ispods, and mantises for neighbors & family on and off for the past 14 years. I have also given pets their medication via oral syringe and tablets, as instructed by their owners. One of my own pets has chronic kidney/ urinary issues so I know how important it is for them to receive the best care possible. Although I may be small in stature, my experience with dogs has been anything but limited. I've taken on the challenge of walking and agility training dogs that weigh more than I do, proving that it's not just size that matters but also heart and dedication. One of my fondest memories from high school involves creating an agility course for our neighbor's bernedoodle puppy, Lambeau. This energetic ball of fur was full of mischief, often clawing at doors, chewing on furniture, and brutally attacking his toys. Understanding his need for stimulation, I devised a series of fun challenges that not only focused his energy but also built a special bond between us. Setting up that obstacle course was an adventure in itself—using cones, tunnels, and homemade jumps, we transformed my backyard into a vibrant training ground. The best part was watching Lambeau navigate the course with increasing confidence, eagerly responding to my encouragement and praise. By using treats as positive reinforcement, he learned quickly that good behavior and hard work would be rewarded, which significantly curbed his destructive tendencies. Watching him thrive both mentally and physically filled me with joy and validated my belief in the power of training and outdoor activity as vital tools for a dog's well-being. The experience solidified my commitment to fostering healthy, happy relationships with dogs, proving that with the right approach, even the most energetic puppy can become a more balanced companion. I am a college student who recently moved to the area and am have a pretty open schedule. My hobbies include crocheting, sewing, gardening, and taking care of my pet Guinea pigs. I love staying active by playing Pokémon Go and would love to care for your dog(s) while going on adventures! I walk around the residential areas and always walk in crosswalks, as safety is my priority.
“Samantha is amazing!!! She is responsive and great with Carter on walks. He comes home tired and happy!!! I have to say that my boy really looks forward to the walks with his new bestie. Samantha, I appreciate you!!”

“Laura is so kind and patient with our nervous dog. She always provides feedback about any concerns and is very responsive and communicative when scheduling and timing out visits.”

The schedule brackets or structure differently, so I have those times listed, but to be more specific, I can start dog walking or drop and visit as early as 8 AM on the weekdays and weekends and on Saturdays I will have to cut my drop and visit or dog walking by 9 PM just by having a young boy. 🌈 LGBTQIA+ safe environment/protected 🙆♀️🙆🏽♀️🙆🏿♀️ Women's safe place - Every client is welcome to receive service except those who showed to be dangerous or untrustworthy.
“Laurie is an excellent person with whom to entrust your dog. She has a confident yet easy disposition that is comforting. She consistently communicated all I wanted to know regarding her time with my dog. Highly recommend!”

About: I have had many pets of my own since I was child. I love all animals and am very patient and loving with all animals. I am experienced with bathing dogs, and I have a poodle mix and understand the importance of brushing long haired dogs. Your animal will be safe with me and loved on as if they were my own. I am currently employed working 3-4 days a week. I have every other weekend off of work and have 2-3 days off during the week, depending on the week, so that allows me to help people out not only during the week but weekends as well. Note: I do have my prices set a little bit higher so that way I can cover gas to and from, because we all know how high gas prices are right now. I have 3 dogs of my own who are all under 2. All 3 are energetic and require a lot of patience while going on walks, and getting their daily exercise in. I have a fenced in yard where I allow my dogs to run around while I am keeping a close eye on them. I even have a kiddie pool that I set up during the summer that I allow my pups to play in.

“Pamela was a dream for our babies and we are so thankful we found her! She sent plenty of photos and kept me updated the entire week she kept them. I couldn’t recommend her enough!”

“We were so happy with the care Karen provided for our dog Maeby! Karen sent us daily texts and photos which helped us feel comfortable and confident that Maeby was in great hands. This was the first time we booked with Rover and Karen helped us through the process. We will definitely book with Karen the next time we need care for Maeby!!”

“Kari took such good care of my dog Rudy when I was on vacation for a week. She sent daily updates and photos, and Rudy was very happy and content in her home allowing me to be able to fully focus on my family reunion and have peace of mind about leaving Rudy. Thanks Kari and Jeremy!!”

“Ozzie loves going to Carrie’s house. He recognizes the street and gets excited. When he’s handed off to her he’s excited to go inside immediately. Thank you Carrie for taking care of Ozzie. I know he can be a handful at times.”

“My crazy puppy has a great time at Sarah’s house this weekend! I love that she sent lots of updates and pics of my baby playing with another dog. We will happily book again for next time!”

“Sarah and Todd were quick to respond to our request and so accommodating for our dog during our quick overnight trip to Springfield. They were so communicative and went above and beyond! It was a convenient option that gave us peace of mind and flexibility with limited pet friendly lodging options!”

“This was our first time using the Rover app, so it was our first time with Megan. After meeting her, I had such peace. The dogs had fun at her house, and I love the updates she gave me! We will definitely be using her again!”

About: Hi, I’m Erica — a highly experienced animal care professional with over 20 years of hands-on experience caring for pets and farm animals of all kinds. I’m trained as a veterinary assistant, including assisting with surgeries, administering medications, and caring for senior, disabled, and post-operative animals. I specialize in calm, consistent, in-home care for pets who do best staying in their familiar environment. In a client’s home, I treat the space with the utmost care and follow instructions precisely to maintain the pet’s normal routine. With over 20 years of hands-on animal care experience, including veterinary assistant training, I am confident administering medications, supporting senior pets, and caring for animals with special needs. I maintain clear communication, provide regular updates, and care for every pet as if they were my own — with patience, attentiveness, and genuine love.
