He has been with us for so long that I honestly can’t imagine our home without him. I’m also a mom of three, so we have a busy but loving family home where pets are very much part of everyday life. My kids love dogs, and we’re used to having a furry member of the family around. Having a senior dog has taught me to be patient and pay attention to the little things. I know that older dogs sometimes need a little more rest, more frequent potty breaks, and extra care and attention. We also travel to Egypt and Serbia every year, and my Pomeranian has flown overseas with me many times. I know how much work it can be to travel with a dog, and I also know how hard it is to leave them behind. That’s actually one of the reasons I decided to offer boarding. I’ve had to leave my own dog with people I trusted, and even then, I knew he acted differently because I wasn’t there. I remember wondering if he was okay, if he was comfortable, and if someone was giving him the same attention I would. So when your dog stays with me, I want you to feel comfortable too. About: I currently have two cats that I love dearly. I feed them, clean their litter boxes, and play with them daily. They love flipping and running for string toys, as well as pushing around balls and plushies. I give them medicine when needed and have experience with cutting nails. My favorite thing to do with cats is sit and stare at them.

In all honesty though, my cat has grown immensely since I adopted him off the streets in 2022. And I believe it’s because I am a kind, intuitive, and respectful person of their space and needs. About: We have grown up around cats and dogs. We are the go to pet sitters for our families and friends. We have experience with cats, dogs, snakes, turtles, fish, and ferrets. We have house trained our dogs and know the patience required with the process. We both work from home so we are able to take dogs out as needed and nothing is better on a work break then cuddling some fuzzies. We have a large fenced in yard,so dogs can safely run and play. We always stay outside with them. Inside the house is pet proofed with couch protection covers and scratching posts for cats. All kitty litter is gated off from dog access. Water bowls are available upstairs and downstairs. If we are outside for more than 15 minutes we also bring a water bowl outside.

While I am comfortable watching all dogs, I have additional experience with senior dogs, special-need dogs, dogs on medications, and doggie anxiety. I also dog sat for many dogs over the years as well. I'm currently only working freelance so I have tons of time to take your dog on walks and give them extra attention. I wake up around 6-7 and make sure they get as long of a walk as they need, plus play time, and lots of love and attention. I will treat your dog like my own. I will respect, however wherever your dog sleeps. In their bed, with me, in a crate. My goal is to keep your dog on the schedule and routine they are used so they feel safe, happy, and loved in your home while you are away.
About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals since i was about 10. Neighbors and family have relied on me to take care of all their pets needs:) from days to a week i’ve always helped whoever needed some pet sitting. I help out and work at a barn 2 times a week and i have a pup, kitten and horse of my own that i take care of daily! I would love to meet your baby before coming into their home. some animals can be scared when it comes to new people so i would want the best experience for both you and your animal!
About: I currently have a 10.5 year old Golden Retriever named Nala. I don’t have a fenced in yard so we spend a lot of time going for long walks. I have had dogs my whole life and love to spend time with them. I'm a very nurturing person and I would make sure that your dog feels at home while they enjoy their visit with us. My dog gets along very well with other dogs so having an extra companion around for Nala would be great. I will make sure that your dog gets the attention and care that he/she needs ! I am a high school teacher, so right now I am gone from about 7-330 each day - but we take a nice walk in the morning before I leave & then go for several walks throughout the remainder of the day. Dogs at my house are allowed on all furniture and free range of the house for their convenience! If your dog is not potty trained, I will request a crate to be brought over while I am out of the house.

“Mariah was amazing with our dog! The meet-and-greet was a great way for them to feel each other out, and it went perfectly. During the five days we were away, Mariah sent daily updates with photos and a diary of our dog’s activities, which gave us so much peace of mind. She followed all of our care instructions perfectly and even washed the blanket in our dog’s kennel before returning her to us, such a thoughtful touch!
