He even let her trim his nails, which says a lot because he is a handful! After reading about Jade and her experience with dogs and training, we felt really good about leaving Oakley with her. “Latasha was wonderful! All the cats loved her as soon as they met her. She has a natural talent when it comes to getting to know your pets. She sent pictures of our cats to us everyday on vacation and was super responsive on her phone when we wanted to see our pets. It was such a relief knowing that she was here with them. One of the things I appreciated the most was that when we got here it was as clean as when we left it. She took all the notes and she performed the tasks laid out to her exactly like we did with the cats. She also helped keep them on their schedule by following their feeding times. Latasha played with them which is honestly more than I do sometimes. They may have gotten a little spoiled with all the attention lol. Each day she would send images but she'd also send a little story or observation of the cat. That was nice because it helped us to know that they were acting in their usual ways and not sad that we were gone and missed us. I would 1000% book Latasha again. If you've never had a cat sitter (we hadn't) she will answer all your questions and really set your nerves at ease.”

About: I had my own personal dogs for over 20 years in total but do not currently have any pets. As my schedule allows, I help out with short-term fostering for a rescue that I adopted two of my dogs from. All 3 of my dogs ended up with health issues in their old age so I have plenty of experience giving medications, feeding special diets, assisting with mobility issues, etc. Because my boy was dog reactive, I became a master at 'crate/gate/separate' when fostering while he was alive. However, I intend to only sit animals that are from the same home at one time so the animals do not face any restrictions needing to avoid animals they do not live with. I work from home (day job) so I will be around most of the time during the care dates with the exception of any planned events outside of the home (which likely would not be more than a few hours at a time). I have a fenced yard (4 feet) for quick potty breaks (I do not leave dogs unattended in my yard). For walks, I can use a double leash/collar if needed for extra security. I do have a shared fence line with a neighbor dog that is reactive so, when needed, I run a line of chicken wire to keep dogs in my yard from being able to reach that fence. The neighbor’s dog is my primary reason for marking ‘no’ to un-spayed/neutered. I don’t leave any dogs I watch unattended in my back yard but he’s a Cane Corso that’s not neutered and my fence is only 4ft tall so I figured better safe than sorry.

About: So I just love dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and will never not have one. I work from home and am very physically active so my lifestyle works well with dogs as I am around to simply hang out with the dogs or go on long walks if needed! About: I’ve taken care of animals as small as rats and fish ranging to livestock since I was young! I have had all myself and they’ve all been spoiled and happy as long as I’m around. Your pets will be able to tell I’m an animal person and you’ll be relived to go away as your pets will be in great hands! About: Hey. My name is Ali, I train dogs and this is a cool way to do what I love! I treat my dogs as if they were mine children & would do the same for anyone’s pet in my care. Making sure they’re comfortable and safe is my top priority. The way pet care fits into my day is regular because I’m taking care of my dogs and others literally all day so it’s a normal routine. About: I’ve been around dogs since I was a kid. Most recently raising a German shepherd for the last 10 years! I love long walks with the pups and tending to their needs. My days start and end with walks, so the pup will accompany me on all of those or spend time in the backyard while I garden. I have a fence where the dog can have ample space to run around and roam free. Or they can relax inside during the hot summer days.

About: Hey friends! I graduated with an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2019 from Muscatine, Iowa. I have been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2020 and I absolutely love it. I have a large passion for animal care and know that they deserve as much love as people do. My family and friends have always had animals as well, so I’ve helped with them here and there. I’ve done quite a few jobs on here and it’s always been a great experience! I am CPR trained for both cats and dogs and know how to give various medications in various ways. I worked at Northgate Small Animal Hospital in Collinsville, IL for over 2 years and recently quit this year due to my CF, but I still keep up to date with my licensure! I can work with dogs, cats, and small exotic animals including hamsters, Guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, etc. Don’t worry, you can trust me with all of your fur babies!!! As previously mentioned, I quit working as a Vet Tech in 2023 do to hardships with my Cystic Fibrosis. I still do Rover jobs, so feel free to ask me if you need me! I had a baby earlier this year in April, so my schedule will depend on him and that of my hubbys! Other than that, just let me know and ask me! I don’t watch animals at my home due to our dog, Chief, being dog aggressive but I’m always happy to come to your home and visit your pets! I’m happy to follow a schedule or do whatever you need while at your home!

The meet and greet went great, and Jade made us feel comfortable right away. She kept in touch with us every day and sent pictures, which we really loved. Oakley did great with her! He even let her trim his nails, which says a lot because he is a handful! After reading about Jade and her experience with dogs and training, we felt really good about leaving Oakley with her. She also went above and beyond by giving us some tips for Oakley to be more comfortable and social. We really appreciated that because it showed us she cares about the dogs she watches and wants what is best for them. When we pulled up to get him, he was sitting on the porch with Jade. He barked when he saw us, then got excited to see us, which was exactly what we expected from him. He looked happy and comfortable. I would absolutely trust Jade with Oakley again. She was everything we could have hoped for, and we are so glad we found her!🐶🐾”
