“HIRE CHRIS. I won the lottery with him. It was my first time using Rover. I have a special needs rabbit who needed a caretaker after a rabbit boarding service was no longer available. I messaged several sitters and Chris was the first to respond. He is responsive and communicative. What I absolutely love about Chris, among many things, is that he asks questions. Not in a "what do I do" kind of way. Rather, "how do I do this to make sure it's done correctly". My special needs rabbit is on a specialized diet. I left Chris with instructions, which he followed to a tee, but he also sent a photo of the food. (My rabbit is feed very soft, watered down pellets and Critical Care due to recent dental surgery). I'm happy that he did because my rabbit can't chew on pellets. He sent lots of photos of Moo, too. Chris was also flexible with the initial meet 'n' greet appointment and visiting my landlord's office to pick up my front door key (which has to be loaned out). One of the reasons I chose Chris was his close proximity to my apartment. I will 5000% hire Chris again for my rabbit sitting needs. He took great care of my very special needs rabbit and Moo liked him too! I recommend him for your pet sitting needs, including small mammals!”

My current fur babies are two cats. I do miss having dogs. I've had dogs for 40 years until recently. Now I just love on other peoples dogs! I can now do more things, and that includes loving more fur babies. I have a rescue cat named Tessa, she's 15 and the most snuggly cat on the planet. We sleep together. My huge cat Rupert is 7 and he was born on a farm, and is hard to photograph here as he covers my whole lap and then some. He has a loud purr and loves to sit a certain way on my lap. My pond is currently healthy and some of the fish are 6 inches long. I had a 3 pound koi who I trained to swim through a hoop. I loved her. Is it possible to love a fish? I did. We have a few horses renting the pasture this year. We used to own and raise gaited horses. I love horses. I think they are good at reading people, and elegant.

About: I have had dogs for over 30 years, including a Dalmatian, American Eskimo, and Australian Shepherd-all high energy dogs. I’ve also dog sat for friends and family when they’ve gone on vacation. I am a calm, caring, and active person who will love your dog like my own. I teach part time in the morning, every other day. Other than that, I have plenty of time to take your dog on walks, play ball, and feed them. I have a fenced in yard, quiet neighborhood, and plenty of dog toys to keep your puppy/dog happy. About: I grew up on a farm. I was part of FFA (future farmers of America) and 4H growing up. I’ve cared for animals and their well being all my life. I currently work on a two week rotation. Meaning I’ll be in town for two weeks at a time, and out of town for two weeks. I’ll have weekdays from 8am to 5pm and weekends after 4pm. I have majority of the day to relax and exercise your puppies. I have a fenced in backyard and plenty of room for your pups to enjoy outside or if they are lazy butts; got a couch for them to relax on. About: I have 3 pets of my own and no children. This gives me flexibility and freedom to accommodate customer needs. I have 2 senior pets and 1 that’s a bit of a wild child. I have raised the 2 older ones their whole life. I workout everyday and being able to incorporate others in that is great. I enjoy the outdoors and staying healthy. I’m big on structure and routine. About: Hi, my name is Heather I have been involved in caring for animals for many years whether it was my own pets or the grooming and boarding facility I worked for in my 20s. I am 50 years old. I am from the Quad city area originally but lived in Houston for 30 years, I recently moved back about seven years ago. I have a nice little house in Bettendorf with a great yard including a vinyl privacy fence. I will give your pet a loving fun, playful experience, and I’m very happy to send you video and pictures so you can see how your pet does while they’re with me . I usually let them out in the morning and feed the dogs I watch separately so there’s no fighting , same thing at about 4 pm in between they get pets , sleep, and run around in my yard ( weather permitting ) I am home every day of the week. I am gone for a few hours on Wednesday and Friday. Always attentive to pets in my care they will not be left outside for long periods of time , I often go and sit on my patio while the dogs are out , I also have a doggy door that fits up to large dogs .

About: I've had many cats through the years. Currently have 5 of my own including 2 sphynx. I have sadly lost a few cats over the years and I've had to take care of my sick babies so I'm not afraid to take care of sick pets or give medicine as needed. Currently I have to give one of my own cats medicine every other day for his asthma. I'm just a animal lover. Most animals like me. I've also had a couple of dogs over the years but don't currently have any but I love them. I love walking them and playing with them. When I do drop ins I have taken them on walks, picked up after them and fed them. I absolutely love working with all animals! I am known to have great communication skills, I am compassionate , and I am responsible. I pride myself in those traits and look forward to building a relationship with you and your family member! I do have a full time job working with adults with intellectual disabilities. Mon-Fri I do work from 730am-4pm. I am still available during the weekends and can also do house sitting during the days that I work! I will follow their daily routine and make them as comfortable as possible while you are away. While walking them I will keep distance from other animals to ensure their safety. I will also follow all dietary needs and feeding schedules.
About: I am open to most pets. Cats, Dogs, Horses, Calves, Lambs, Guinea Pigs, Turtles, etc..... If extra special care or out of state, I do charge travel fees. I do have experience with older pets and young ones. I have been known to raise Opossums from the size of mice to adults. If that gives you an idea! I am open to new proposals and willing to negotiate new situations! (Unencountered situations when it comes to pets) I also House-sit, plants, pets etc... I do travel out of state to Illinois (Mostly the North suburbs of Chicago) and Wisconsin. This is where I have done house-sitting. Pets and Plants can be included in this care. I do add travel expenses, mainly for gas, when traveling for house sitting. I get up in the morning and get my coffee going and then tend to pets that are around. They get fed first thing, inside and outside. Feral cats seem to be present in the morning. Litter boxes are checked. Water Bowls. Mostly I go to people's homes and care for the pets at their houses, but I have had people bring them to me. I have an extra room set up in my barn if there are anxieties or stress with animals and they need a quiet place. I am in the process of updating that room a little more. It is heated for the winter months. I do have hand brushes and combs for extra attention and I do go talk to whoever is around. If dogs come, they can be walked. Although I live in a small town, I am close to nice places to walk on the edge of town.
About: Being in the military not only have I had special training with bigger dogs but also having close relatives with ESA (emotional support animals) I have always been very close and caring of animals as they are the most pure hearted things on the planet Currently all days are available and am willing to watch on weekends as well animals are the key to the soul and I’m excited they are apart of our lives I live not to far from a dog park and have many toys and space for animals I have a caring girlfriend as well who is very supportive of animals
About: From nose ears to little pads I know what's going on with my little guys being very big on doing things myself so that way I catch when things are not right with them. I currently my own Boss with my own schedule with some time and some flexibility to help out with other families that might need help Walkable access to parks and trails for opportunities for outdoor play and fun time. I've always been big on both supervised engaging play time 🤓
About: Hello, my name Kayla! I stumbled upon Rover on Facebook, I absolutely love all animals so I couldn't resist trying this out! My family has owned many dogs throughout my whole life, big and small so I am use to either and I understand what it takes to take care of them and make them happy. I believe owning a pet is just as important as seeing and treating them as your own child! “This was our first experience with the Rover app and Shannon taking care of Maggie. It could not have been a better experience! Shannon was great with communication and very timely. We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions.
