“Our dog Rocky had a great time with Kristine and her adorable dog Blue. Kristine gave us updates about how Rocky is doing with pictures and video. Definitely recommend her and will use her service again. We appreciate her taking care of Rocky.”

“Very happy! Jennifer and her family took excellent care of our 3 dogs for 6 days! They appeared happy and healthy when we picked them up and we're worn out from all their playtime. Our girls made some new friends while there which was also great for their socializing! We felt safe and comfortable leaving them in her care and would definitely do it again. A very great experience all around! Thank you so much, Jennifer!!”

“Pepper had a blast!!! She got to hang with some feathered friends. Now we can plan our next trip knowing we can leave her for a few days and she will have fun memories as well. Thanks so much for fitting us in last minute.”
“Leslie did a great job with my Marley. Marley is a very anxious dog and he had a blast with Leslie. I will leave for my work trip in a couple weeks knowing that he is in good hands and being well cared for! 🤍”

“Bridget was absolutely amazing!!! We left our 3 year old German Shepherd with her for over a week and at first like all dog parents we were nervous, as it was our first time leaving him with someone we didn’t know. But we went and met with her and all was well. We are so happy with her service and she is so responsive! You can tell she has the best heart and loves your baby like her own!! We received photos everyday if not twice a day and Ruger played and loved all of her pups too! We will FOR SURE be using her services again and highly recommend her to all dog parents!! Thank you so much Bridget, Mr Ruger already can’t wait to come back and play!!! ❤️”

“It is with deepest regret that we have to inform any previous sitter that we said was good in the past..... DOES NOT HOLD A CANDLE TO MIRIAM & TERRELL!!! No, we are not relatives or neighbors of/to them. No we didn't know them from the ole' college days, and no we didn't meet them at a bar or grocery store. Nope. We just needed a sitter about 5 days before we left town, saw their listing here on Rover. We messaged back and forth a bit, booked it, dropped 'em off Friday night, and WOW! They are truly into being great sitters for your pups! No joke. You could not ask for anymore. So many updates. So many little features that I will not tell you, but you will love... We promise. You can go off to wherever it is your going, and from drop off to pick up, you will not worry one bit about your pupper(s)! Unless there is an apocalypse, we will not use anyone else! Thank you Miriam & Terrell!”

“Erin was fantastic with my dog, Max, this weekend! She provided daily updates, which gave me peace of mind while I was away. It was clear that Max was happy, comfortable, and well cared for throughout his stay. Erin was reliable, communicative, and treated Max like her own. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog sitter, and I would definitely book with her again.”

“Kim is great!! Both Milo and Daisy love her so much! So far, best sitter for my babies. Every time we needed someone to take care of them, she was available for us! As long as my babies are happy and loved, we are happy!”

“Katie and her family were so amazing with our baby dog. She’s like a totally different pup! She doesn’t get upset in the crate, her bitting has dramatically dropped, and she’s much more claim throughout the day. I cannot thank her enough for taking ivy in on short notice and letting her be apart of her family. 10/10 would recommend!”

“Sylvie is just amazing! She cares for my furry friend just like he is one of her own. He plays all day, socializes with other dogs in their huge back yard and has an absolute blast! It’s like he comes home from from an extended play date every time!”

“Francesca was absolutely amazing with our pitty! She sent pictures and kept communication when needed. I felt extremely confident and comfortable leaving my dog with her. It made our vacation that much more enjoyable knowing Maverick was well taken care of. We will definitely be using her again! 5 stars- Highly recommend!”

“Beth was excellent! This was a great experience, I would definitely recommend Beth (and her sweet little dog Gracie!) and will be sure to reach out to her again when needed. Thank you so much, Beth!”

“My dogs seem to have a great time. Loved the pictures, Alexis and her family took great care of my 2 pups they came home happy and healthy. We Will definitely use Alexis whenever she is available. Thank you very much.”

“Alex did a very good job of giving me updates during my dog's stay. And the videos and pictures she sent showed my dog was having a good time. And my dog must have, she's been doing nothing but sleeping since we got home. Thanks Alex!”

“Enas and her daughters took great care of Rusti. She is very much Mamma’s girl and doesn’t do well when I’m away but she did great with Enas. I will definitely look to use Enas’ boarding again.”

About: I’ve grown up with dogs my entire life and currently have three large dogs, so I’m comfortable caring for pets of all sizes, ages, and personalities. I have experience helping raise and train puppies, including one who recently turned one year old, and I’m comfortable with everything from feeding schedules and administering medications to walks, playtime, treats, and cleaning up after pets. As a student-athlete home for the summer, I’d love to spend my extra time caring for animals and giving them the attention they deserve. My love for pets started at a young age—I even ran a homemade dog treat business to help earn money for my first two puppies! Since then, I’ve always enjoyed spending time with animals and treating them like family. Pet care fits very naturally into my weekly routine. I currently work part-time, which gives me flexibility throughout the day to provide walks, drop-in visits, feeding, playtime, medication administration, and companionship. As a student-athlete, I’m used to managing a busy schedule and staying organized, so I always make sure pets receive reliable and consistent care. Between work shifts and practices, I have plenty of availability to give pets the attention, exercise, and love they deserve. I believe pets are most comfortable in their own environment, so I focus on providing care in my clients’ homes. I follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, medications, playtime, and lots of love and attention. My goal is to keep pets happy, comfortable, and stress-free while their owners are away. I do not offer boarding in my home, but I’m happy to provide drop-in visits, walks, and in-home care tailored to your pet’s needs.

About: My husband and I have a lot of experience caring for cats, dogs, and birds. I've been house sitting /animal sitting for around 7 years on the side. I absolutely love animals, and I've had experience caring for a large variety of them. I've watched 4 large dogs at a time, all of whom needed special medication and attention. I care for every animal like they're my own, and just absolutely love being around dogs. I have a spacious home and I am very attentive. I live in a safe neighborhood, and I am by my phone 24/7 so can be in contact with you at any time. I work remotely and sometimes have to go in to the office. My husband is almost always home, and we always make sure someone is at home to be with the animals. Care is always personalized to the dogs needs. We go for regular walks, follow any dietary restrictions, and always check with the pet-parent if there's anything else needed.
About: I’ve been taking care of pets since childhood. First it was cats, then dogs, and I’m now a proud owner of a Quaker parrot. I’m willing to walk or pet sit dogs, help pet sit cats at their own home, and the same with exotic birds. Someone is always home with the pet and we also help you dog get socialized with our parrot. When I had dogs, I let them sleep on the bed with us. I also let them sit on the furniture, too. And I do spoil them, also. I work full time in the afternoon shift but my boyfriend works mornings so there is always someone home. He loves animals, too! I do my best to work around my schedule. Our bird Kerry only goes in his cage when we are both out of the house and at bedtime. Otherwise, we let him out. Kerry is used to dogs. He likes to talk to dogs.
About: I have a lot of experience with dogs as both an owner and as a foster home/parent. I recently had a foster dog that was used as a breeding Mom dog for 4 years and was terrified when we got her. I have pet sat at my home for family, friends, and neighbor's dogs. I would go multiple times a week to my neighbor's house to take her dogs out and play with them while Mom & Dad were working late. I have also volunteered with humane societies over the years, even flew down to FL to volunteer with a rescue after a hurricane. I have experience transporting foster dogs to their new homes with a rescue group out of Missouri where we adopted our foster fail from. I am an Independent Photographer so I only work when I have sessions or editing to do, leaving me with lots of time to dedicate to the pups 😀 The dogs wellbeing is my top concern always! If I am coming to walk or play with your dog while you're at work I will make sure your family member is happy and content before leaving.
About: I love all the furry babies, my own fur babies are treated like my children. I work from home, so your baby would have my attention through the entire day. We would have time to play, walk, snuggle, and bond. I have a large fenced in back yard. Your baby would feel at home and comfortable in my home, they would have full access to roam and wander. They also would be allowed on the couches / beds for snuggles and belly rubs. I work from home, giving me the flexibility to ensure your pup has plenty of time and attention. I have an 11 year old son who is just as much as an animal lover. I have a large fenced in back yard. My foxy girl loves to get her zoomies out back there, and loves playing fetch. My son will love on, play, and engage with your pup also.
About: I have had dogs all my life & have taken care of friends & family’s pets. I tend to adopt “problem” dogs that other people can’t handle. I love a challenge & gaining the trust of the dog. I used to frequent the Dominican Republic to feed & give flea baths to the neglected street dogs out there. I’m currently working from home & was a bartender for the last 20 yrs but now looking for a new career with animals because they are my true passion. I just moved to the Gardner, Illinois for a bigger yard & a 6ft privacy fence to expand my dog sitting business. I also have a small pool for the dogs. I have lots of gates up throughout the house & different rooms I can put dogs in if any need to separated. I also have large crates I can use.
About: I have 10 pets myself, all well taken care of of and ranging from 5 years old to 1. I LOVE to pet sit and meet new furry friends. We have a huge fenced in back yard for them to play in as well! I have experience with pets with anxiety, fear aggression, and more. I am not scared of inconvenience or personality stigmas. I also have experience with special needs pups, elderly pups, and giving medication. I have always loved animals since I was a kid and always advocate for them. I own my own business where I work from home, so I have plenty of time and availability to take care of your fur babies! I believe in reward based training rather than punishment! I can crate your pups if needed. I also have experience in cats and other small animals who need watching.
“My little dog, Sassy had an unexpected surgery and recovery period. I had been at wits end about what to do with her as I could not take the time from work. Thankfully, I found Bill able to accomodate Sassy on short notice for the critical time following her surgery. Bill gave me absolute peace of mind that Sassy was well cared for and given attention when I could not be there for her. Sassy could tell "Bill days" and would wait impatiently by the car so she wouldn't miss her chance to go see her friend. I really loved that Bill gave me updates on a daily basis and sent me pictures of my little one resting comfortably. I will for sure be asking, no begging, Bill to take care of my dogs when I find myself needing a helping hand. Thank you Bill for opening your home to my Sassy and caring for her so well.”

About: I've been boarding and fostering a variety of dogs since I was 18. During my fostering I've handled reclimating dogs with many different behavioral issues. I have shadowed master trainers and now I am involved in the dog show/sporting world. Rest assured if your dog has special needs--I have experience in many different areas. If your dog needs to learn training, and you want to treat it as a training session, this could be arranged. (Training will cost more) My two girls are both titled in conformation, dog trick, Canine good citizen and we are working on agility titles. I only do positive FUN training. I currently am a full time student and my classes are all online. This gives me the ultimate flexibility as far as scheduling goes. My girls get a walk at 530 am before I head to the gym. Then the couch napping commences until I return at 7 am. Once I'm back I am home all day. We go in and out at least once every few hours. I have a 1/3 acre fenced in yard. I do have dog agility equipment I set up for play time, and as many balls as they want to chase. The yard is sprayed for ticks and was fully treated upon buying the house for parasites. (I'm just a worry wort when it comes to my dogs health and safety) Inside my house is all dog/puppy friendly. I have gates to prevent going up and down stairs (this is bad for the hips of both growing pups and the elderly). I only use a steamer for floor cleaning, meaning it is 100% chemical free and sanitizes 99% (this is the packaging information! Lol) of germs. I have a doggy toy box full of goodies, to include puzzle toys. There are toddler beds that I've converted to dog beds throughout the house for the cushy naps. I donot have kennels, but I have a playpen I leave open for those that prefer the safety of a kennel. I do have two dogs myself. Both are standard poodle females. One is 5 and one is 4. They are both very well trained and love to have playmates of any age, size or gender. My girls do eat a full raw diet, no need to worry about them trying to steal food from anyone else and they are always fed in a seperate area of the house. The girls are on a monthly heartworm that includes many other parasite preventatives. They are groomed weekly and kept up to date on all vaccines. I expect any dog I board to be up to date on vaccines. There is a local vet within 15 minutes and emergency vet within 45 minutes. **I will not watch unfixed males. This is due to my females not being fixed. I can watch females in heat and young puppies (young puppies cost a bit more due to the fact I will be training if they aren't potty trained).** **If your dog is a digger DO let me know in advance so I can set up the sand box!** I'm a stay at home college student. Animals are a life long love for me. Evenings are for cuddles and homework, while daytime is play time! I care for pets according to the owners specifications.

“I felt so relieved to leave our doggie Whiskey with Susan and her husband. They gave him so much love and attention. She sent us so many pictures of how he was doing and his daily activities. She walked him, played with him and gave him all the love I could ever ask for. We felt so great leaving our doggie baby with her and have already planned another trip in the spring and have it booked. Im so happy I found her on Rover”

“We always know our fur baby is in great hands with Diana and Brian when we go out of town. It’s so comforting to know he’s staying with trusted, caring friends! Thanks so much Diana and Brian!”

“Ruby had a wonderful stay and made lots of new friends. I’m grateful to have a place where I feel comfortable leaving my fur baby and knowing she will be well taken care of 💕”

“Renae was great! Our dog is a 6 month old puppy. We got him weeks before we hired Renae and were very worried about how he was going to do and if he was going to be okay. Renae went above and beyond the call. She took him to parks and the beach and kept him busy the whole weekend. She sent daily updates (sometimes even twice daily) that included pictures of him enjoying himself. We are first time dog owners and she did a great job of relieving the stress of leaving a dog so young with a stranger. She even gave us a few pointers that she's picked up on in her time with dogs. She's a true professional and I'm very impressed with the quality of care we received.”

“Pat went above and beyond to care for our senior pup who is prone to some anxiety. She took care of our dog as if she were her own. She provided lots of updates and pictures and we knew that our girl was in very good hands. Pat has a nice, big and fenced-in backyard which we know our dog enjoyed exploring. Communication was quick and easy from the meet and greet through the entire visit. We’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”

“Archer had a wonderful time at Karen’s. With his puppy behavior and not being around other dogs much I was a little worried. Karen was kind and reassuring. She kept me updated on his behavior through our trip. Archer settled in and made himself at home. She will be at the top of our list next time care is needed for Archer.”
