I am flexible but generally available for walks early morning (6am - 9am) weekdays & weekends, afternoons Tues, Thurs - Sun and early evenings (5-7pm) weekdays. I know every parent has their own vibe & care routines at home, so I will work to maintain that when caring for your pet baby.
About: I’ve had my dog Ace (Cane Corso/Lab mx) for 4 years. Although my family has been fortunate enough to take care of him together, I understand the struggle of finding someone who will care properly for your pet as you do. Pets are our chosen family, and I will ensure your pet is properly cared for. In addition to my dog, I have 3 years of experience in animal husbandry from my previous position as a animal care technician I work another during the week. My most consistent availability is Saturday and Sundays (mornings, afternoons, early evening) for pet sitting and/or walking your pet. I walk my dog 3x a day. About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13, mainly my own, but I’ve also taken care of friend’s and family friend’s dogs in these past 3 years, so I understand the anxiety or fear of leaving a part of your family in the care of someone that isn’t you and won’t treat your pet like you will. That’s why I always adjust and accommodate my services to every pet’s needs. When it comes to basic care of pets, I always take puppies and dogs on walks at whichever time of day that they need to go out, always making sure to bring snacks and water so they always stay hydrated and healthy. I make sure they have enough playtime inside and outside so they don’t get bored and are entertained. I understand that not every dog wants to play or can’t move too much, so I of course adjust these activities to accommodate every pet’s individual needs so they’re always comfortable and happy. I also have experience with senior care, specifically giving dogs the medicines they need at the intended hours of the day or night. It goes without saying that my main priority are the pets in my care so I also make sure to always check up on every pet at different hours and times, rarely leaving them out of my sight (while also keeping my distance if they’re resting) to ensure they’re always okay. I work part-time remotely since I finished university in March of 2024. So I have no issues with times and days that will work best for you and your pets! I care for pets in client’s homes by making sure they’re never missing anything, from food, water, toys, time to go to the bathroom, medicines if they take them, etc… I make sure pets understand I’m simply there as an aid for them and someone they can play with if they choose to! I’m simply there to ensure every pet is taken care of while also having time to play and give them their space, after all, it’s their home and they need to feel the most comfortable and safe in their own space.
