About: Hi! I am currently a receptionist at an animal hospital located in Bucktown/Wicker Park. I have worked as a dog handler, or what we refer as a pack leader, at a doggy daycare located in the West Loop neighborhood in the past for over two years. I am certified in canine first aid, and I usually spend around 8-9 hours a day with medium to big dogs and also cats. About: From a young age, I've had a special bond with dogs. My parents took in neighborhood samoyeds and newfoundlands that had been abandoned by their owners. I grew up with them, trained them, did my best to make sure their home was loving. Since my neighbors knew I was good with large dogs, I frequently dog sat for them. I quickly became an expert in leash technique, engaging play, making sure they were fed right, and just plain being there for them. About: I’ve have taken care of pets before as I do have a dog myself and I have also looked over and cared for cats cause anytime family is away anytime I look over them. I’m currently in summer break from college and I been spending time with my dog and making sure he goes outside and I also have time to make appointments for him such as vet visits or showers. In my house we have a gate and we always the gate close so my dog doesn’t get out. I also have the a/c running most of the time so my dog could chill as summer is coming around the corner. I always make sure he has food and water.
About: I’ve taken care of dogs since I was 13, mainly my own, but I’ve also taken care of friend’s and family friend’s dogs in these past 3 years, so I understand the anxiety or fear of leaving a part of your family in the care of someone that isn’t you and won’t treat your pet like you will. That’s why I always adjust and accommodate my services to every pet’s needs. When it comes to basic care of pets, I always take puppies and dogs on walks at whichever time of day that they need to go out, always making sure to bring snacks and water so they always stay hydrated and healthy. I understand that not every dog wants to play or can’t move too much, so I of course adjust these activities to accommodate every pet’s individual needs so they’re always comfortable and happy. I care for pets in client’s homes by making sure they’re never missing anything, from food, water, toys, time to go to the bathroom, medicines if they take them, etc… I make sure pets understand I’m simply there as an aid for them and someone they can play with if they choose to! About: As an owner of two senior dogs I have learned that they need extra patience and care. I make sure the dogs are feeling comfortable and relaxed by taking the dogs outside as they need to use the bathroom and sun bath for a while. But I also like to give them plenty of time inside if they just want to rest and be pet or cuddled. It's important they get excersise too with some play time or a walk. Pet care goes smoothly with my schedule as a mom and a flea market vendor. My husband Julian does help out in every activity with our pawed guests too. We include a free walk for every day of the stay. Dogs will be taken out to the yard on demand or twice an hour for potty times. For all dogs we will provide two separate hours of play time during the day. If a dog has high energy we will play for about 10 minutes after every potty time. About: I have two fur babies of my own that are Golden mixes and siblings. Elvis is the more active scaredy cat if you will while Priscilla loves to swim but is a huge couch potato otherwise. I also have grown up around dogs and collectively within my immediate family we own 11 dogs total of all shapes and sizes! Don't worry, they don't all live together, but they do go on play dates. That being said, I am comfortable with feeding, walking, and playtime as well as delivering medicine your pup may need. In addition, I am comfortable with watching a dog who may have separation anxiety and need full time supervision. Other animals I have taken care of are rabbits, hamsters, and fish. Being a fur mama myself, I know it can be nerve-wracking trusting someone with your baby, however, I will love your fur baby like my own! No need to ask about cuddles, belly rubs, and playtime, those are complimentary! I currently have a semi-flexible schedule to meet your pet's needs! I teach during the day (8-3:20) but am available before or after work on weekdays. I am usually free on the weekends though and update my calendar often. Your pets are my priority so I will make sure to be communicative about my schedule in advance. I like to make sure I follow the pet's routine and I make sure to give them extra love as I am sure they miss their parents! For dog walking, I will ask you about your pet's favorite walking path or generally what they like to do on walks. For dog sitting, lots of playtime will occur!
About: I have taken care of family pets my whole life, no pets are allowed in my household so I have taken every opportunity to interact with and care for animals outside of my home. I make sure to keep up with their needs while also providing them an enjoyable environment! I work from home so I am able to relocate wherever there is WiFi connection, the work isn’t too demanding so I am able to care for pets immediately. I work 8:00 am to 4:30 pm Monday through Friday and have 24/7 availability! I have an hour lunch break and am also available anytime after work and on weekends! Making that a total of three sons (one baby boy,two dogs), my dogs are small but I also have had dogs that were much bigger than I am. About: I am an educator by training. I am looking for extra work during the summer and school year away from the classroom. I dog and cat sat and dog walked throughout college for four years. I cared for a 15-year-old labrapoodle and I cared for a 7-year-old bordie collie for a combined 5 years. I took them on daily walks, fed them according to a strict meal regimen, and made sure they were safe. The 15-year-old dog had health issues so I have experience in responding to health crisis with elderly dogs and know how to respond in case of an emergency. I am willing to commute, but have limited availability with overnight visits as I have a 19 month old and 7 month old at home.I also have experience with cats! I personally have four cats (ages 2,2, 2, and 4) who I love dearly. I’m able to administer medicine, feed, and care for all breeds and ages of cats. Generally, I do have a full-time job so pet care is part time for me. I’m saving to buy a house and go on a trip so I’m really looking for extra income. Work takes up my time during the day, but I’m available in the evenings and weekends for pet sitting. I’m also available during holidays and the summer. As of 12/2/25: I am currently not working so I have open availability. I have cats so animals need to be friendly with cats. We dog sat for a few weeks and my cats were friendly with the dogs. If the animals must stay with me, I prefer cats as my schedule makes dog walking from my home challenging. I can do drop ins!
