It was a slow, and hard for to let go A year ago, our cat had this disease, and she became immobile immediately and was in chronic pain. It was such a quick loss. So I have been a little hesitant to bring another animal in full time. However, all animals are welcome and we look forward to building a safe spot for you and your pet while you are away.
About: I grew up on a farm with many animals. As a child, I had pet sheep, rabbits, dogs, cats, and cows. As an adult, I have always had cats. My 20 year old long hair cat just passed away in January. It was heartbreaking. I miss him dearly. We loved our guy so much. In his last 5 yrs, I spent many hours catering to his elderly issues. Medications and night yowling were issues that I happily took care of as he lived out his twilight years. For drop-in visits, I stick to the schedule you set for feeding, medication, and fresh water, and I always do a walk-through to make sure everything's secure before I leave. I'll bring in mail/packages and rotate lights if that's part of the ask. For dog walks, I keep to your dog's normal route and pace unless you tell me otherwise, always leash up before opening any doors, and clean up after them every time. I pay close attention to their body language, especially around other dogs or people, and I'll never push a walk if it's too hot, too cold, or your dog seems off that day. For overnight house sitting, I keep your pet's routine as close to normal as possible — same feeding times, same bedtime habits, same amount of attention and play. I treat your home with respect (locking up, keeping things tidy, not having guests over) and I check in with updates so you can relax while you're away. Across all of it: I send photo/video updates, I'm comfortable with basic medication administration (pills, drops, insulin if trained), and if anything seems off with your pet's health or behavior, I contact you and the vet right away rather than guessing.

I do my best to provide the pet(s) with nearly the same care they receive normally. I always make sure to eat my own food and clean the home before my departure.
About: I have always loved dogs and always wanted one. So since I can’t have one I would love to take care of yours! I have taken care of many dogs of the years. I have watched dogs through house sitting. The longest I watched someone’s dogs was a month. I’m very comfortable around dogs and love them very much. They would get all the love from me! I’m a teacher, so I’m able to take care of your animals on the weekends! I love showing off the pets I get to take care of. Let me show off your fur babies! :) I always clean up after myself and your dog. I make sure your and your dogs needs are always met. I don’t have space for a dog at my own house though.
About: All cats deserve love. From cleaning their litter box daily to playing with their toys or feeding them on a consistent schedule, I try my hardest to ensure my cats or any cats I cat sit have all their needs taken care of. I'm currently working part-time throughout the week as well as having Sunday and Monday off. My work schedule is flexible which allows me to focus on pet care. I have a ton of cat toys and cat scratchers around my home as well as two cool cats who would love to play with any new friends. I am extremely adaptable to any requests you have to make sure your cat is as comfortable as they can be.

I worked overnights for 4yrs and have been in healthcare for 15yrs. ***Prefers to keep communication through Rover App for transparency and quality assurance**** I have pretty open availability within reason. I would like a decent heads up to be sure I have the means to accommodate. My routine is very laid back and I watch for signs and cues. I have two dogs of my own. I love caring for and just being around animals. I live in a quiet neighborhod. While I do not have a fenced in yard, I am willing to walk and give attention to each animal in my care.

About: Hi!! I was busy watching pets all summer, as I'm a teacher. Now, I am back to work and have less availability. If your pet can go 8+ hours without a potty break, I can help! Otherwise, I will be back next summer with more availability :) I have limited availability now that I am back to teaching, but please reach out if you think we can work something out! I am busy all day and at times have kid activities in the evenings, so my availability is limited :( We have a partially fenced in yard. We live close to the trial, so we will go on many walks. We have a leash outside as well as room to crate inside.
