My cats have had vaccines for rabies and FVRCP. My dog has had vaccines for rabies, canine influenza bivalent (H3N2 and H3N8), distemper, parvo, bordetella, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.
About: I have been around animals my entire life. I once had dreams of being a vet and spent two summers as an intern at a vet clinic, but learned quickly that that is not necessarily the career to choose just because you love animals, haha. That being said, I love both dogs and cats and have been a volunteer at animal shelters since 2017. I currently have a sweet but shy 6 year old cat named Rhiannon. I work remotely on weekdays, so I am home throughout the day for companionship and frequent potty breaks, if needed. I love to go on evening walks in my local park as well. My foster work has included animals in hospice; seniors; dogs going through heartworm treatment; those with serious behavior issues; advanced starvation cases; kidney disease; and pets with other complex medical needs, so I am very comfortable following detailed treatment plans, giving medications, and monitoring changes in behavior or health. I understand how important consistency and attention to detail are, especially when your furry family needs extra care. However complex the case, I always look for ways to make your pet happy in addition to healthy, whether that be an extra slow walk with lots of sniffing, an enrichment toy with diet-approved snacks, or just some quiet time on the couch together. Most importantly, I know what I don’t know. Every pet is an individual with their own history and needs, and I never assume my past experience automatically applies to your furry family member. If I ever have a question or concern, I reach out immediately, and in a genuine emergency, I won’t hesitate to contact your veterinarian. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, so I can work around your and your furry family's established schedule. When staying at your home, I can be with your pet most of the day. This means they get lots of attention and snuggles (if, and only if, they like snuggles!), and I can watch for shifts in their behavior, appetite, or energy levels and let you know right away. I only provide care in your home, which allows your furry family to stay in their normal environment and maintain their regular routine. I’ve found this keeps stress low and helps pets feel safe while you’re away. When I’m staying overnight, I treat your home and your furry family’s routine with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime instructions exactly as given.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and I love them all. I’m good about watching temperament in animals and making sure everything is going smoothly. I can do simple training like sit and lie down. I can’t wait to meet and love on your pup/senior. :) I work 8-4 Monday through Friday. My job is pretty lax when it comes to coming and going! She weathered Izzy's inability to sleep through the first night with grace, and we worked out some things to help her on the second night. Even though it was too hot for many outdoor activities, Izzy still came back home tired from all the fun she had with Rae and her daughter. I replenish their food and water twice each day and socialize with them every day. Drop-In Visits: I am very flexible and adaptable to most environments and most needs of my clients and their humans. My cats have had vaccines for rabies and FVRCP. My dog has had vaccines for rabies, canine influenza bivalent (H3N2 and H3N8), distemper, parvo, bordetella, leptospirosis, and lyme disease. While I do not expect you to have all of these for your animals too, I do prefer that your animals are vaccinated for at least rabies and distemper for both dogs and cats as well as bordetella for dogs. Vaccines are very important for the safety, health, and well-being of all of our animals. For similar reasons, for boarding and/or day care, you MUST provide your cage/crate for your animals.

About: My husband and I have a high energy 1 year old German shorthair pointer who LOVES other dogs. Dogs are meant to be apart of the family so they should be treated that way! We raised him from 8 weeks old so have experience with puppies and high energy dogs. Before getting fisher, I dog sat for multiple families throughout college, I will be the ne taking care of your furry friends as my Husband is busy at work. I am a hairstylist with a very flexible schedule and am rarely gone longer than 4 hours, I am also not working every day & am home a lot. My husband is a football coach at the university of Illinois! Your dog will be apart of the family in our home and will come back to you tired from playing with our Fisher! “China was amazing. This was the first time I’ve booked a sitter on rover and she did her best to alleviate all my worries. My pup is super anxious and she did her best to help her eat her food and gave her all the time she needed to potty and do her business. She also gave my pup her meds which isn’t always easy! As long as she is available I will always go to China she’s awesome.”
About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life, and I love them all. I’m good about watching temperament in animals and making sure everything is going smoothly. I can do simple training like sit and lie down. I can’t wait to meet and love on your pup/senior. :) I work 8-4 Monday through Friday. My job is pretty lax when it comes to coming and going! I get an hour lunch break around 1:30. Once I’m off at 4 I’m usually home for the night, but if I’m not your pet will be with me or crated! Whether we are burning energy with interactive toys or cuddling on the couch, your pets comfort and routine come first. I provide fresh water always, stick to your feeding schedules, and will give update pictures throughout their stay!
