“Monica was amazing! This was our first experience with using Rover and I cannot recommend Monica enough. If I could give 10 stars I would. She provided daily updates with pictures, she has a fenced yard and has room for them to play. My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy our vacation knowing our two puppies were well cared for and enjoying themselves. I highly recommend Monica.”

“I do not have enough words to say how incredible Jessica was with my anxious corgi, Nugget! She was so attentive to his command words, what makes him nervous/comfortable and she even thought of things I hadn’t considered to make him feel comfortable there. My sweet little boy absolutely loves her and we will be coming back soon!”

Thank you, Jade, you are an amazing human!”

“We are so thankful to have found someone who takes such good care of our pup while we’re away! The peace of mind that she’s safe and well taken care of is absolutely priceless ❤️”

“Dave and Heidi were absolutely amazing with my fur baby, Chance! They are the sweetest couple and sent daily pics and updates. They made sure to comfort her during the storms and helped her get over her anxiety of me leaving. I would definitely book with them again!”

About: My house is full of love and my dogs will surely keep your pets entertained they are friendly with almost everyone and the indoor and indoor/outdoor cats have been around many dogs and other animals with no problems in addition the rodents and birds areas can be closed off so your pet has no experience with those animals to keep all pets happy and healthy. I grew up on a farm so I have experience with cows, goats, rabbits, geese, ducks, chickens, guinea pigs, hamsters, mice, dogs and cats. When I turned 17 also 6 years ago, I started my zoo as my father calls it, I have 11 animals. I started with a simple one cat and one dog. In 2023 I increased the number from 2 pets to 5 getting a Chinchilla and two cats one showing up at my front door and another surrendered to me after I friend couldn’t care for him anymore. Then in the beginning of 2025 another friend moved and couldn’t bring her birds so we took in 3 parakeets which they do better in pairs so we bought one to make it 4 and then a couple months later we were finally able to find a second chinchilla so that nether was lonely because they are also better in pairs also. Lastly number 11 I had been thinking about for awhile I always wanted a lot of dogs being a big dog person so my 11th pet we got at the beginning of 2026 she is a 8 month old border collie. I currently work part-time in the evenings so I’m free every morning and all weekend depending on the weekend. I can also be available any day by request but my days off are always Sunday, Monday, Friday, Saturday. I live in a rural area with a large space for dogs to play we have a 5 year old small medium pit-terrier mix and a 6 month old border collie. I also have a variety of pets so I have knowledge on how to care for birds, rodents, fish, cats and of course dogs large and small.
“Sarah was very accommodating for a last-minute booking for an overnight stay. She even helped with some food. Izzy was so exhausted last evening, even into the next morning, from playing with other dogs. I tired dog is a good dog!”

About: I have had pets in the house my whole life. My grandpa had a farm so I have been around animals since I was little. We have even had several pet pigs that were litter box trained. When I was younger, I would sneak stray cats into the house so they would have a place to stay and I always made sure to feed any stray animals that were too scared to come to anyone. I am that person that always stops if I see an animal wondering around outside, even in areas where I probably shouldn't even stop at stop signs. I have two boys, 7 and 19 months old that share my love for animals. We would be thrilled to spoil and love on your pets if you are planning a trip out of town or just need someone to stop by so your fur babies can have some play time and a bathroom break. I work full time close to Lambert Airport so I have limited availability during the week. On the weekends I am typically home amd welcome any dogs to stay with us as long as they are up to date on vaccines and currently taking flea and tick treatments. Our pups are just like family members. They have free roam throughout the house and are allowed on furniture. We have several dog beds, plenty of toys, and a fenced in backyard.
About: Hi I’m Christina! I’ve been a vet tech for 20 years and currently still working in a clinic and I pet sit all the time for friends, family and church fam! I’ve decided to move on up and join rover to expand my love and care for animals. I’m trained in dog/cat handing, emergency, body language and administering medication. I just love what I do! Tour anytime! I’m allowed to bring my animals to work and they absolutely love it! Always hands on. My yard is very large and it works great for running and playtime. My neighbor dogs are so sweet! My pets are crate trained. I also have other large crates and the space! Free range is ok with me! I carry potty pads and diapers for male dogs just in case. I have a little senior Yorkie who needs them too.
“Very accommodating gentleman! Nice fenced back yard, easy to get to his home! I felt great leaving my dog with Davey! He even sent pictures of her playing, which calmed me down as this was her first sitter! THANK YOU SO MUCH!”

“Latasha looked after our kitty (Lazare) and house for a week in July. She was very professional and courteous. She took the time to write down instructions on our meet and greet. Lazare loved her! I appreciated her communication and photos and she also took good care of the house and plants. I wholeheartedly recommend Latasha.”

About: Hi! I’m Gaby, a full-time professional pet sitter and lifelong animal lover. Caring for animals isn’t a side job for me, it’s full time job and passion! One of the biggest benefits of booking with me is that I do this full-time, which means your pets receive far more attention, companionship, and supervision than they would with sitters who work traditional 9–5 jobs or are in and out all day. Your pets won’t be left alone for long stretches of the day, and their comfort, safety, and routine will always be my top priority. I have professional experience working in daycare and boarding environments, including Kennelwood Animal Resort and Y Bark Alone. Through that experience, I’ve worked with dogs of all sizes, breeds, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable administering medications (both oral and injections), handling puppies, seniors, and special-needs pets, and recognizing signs that a pet may be stressed, anxious, or unwell. When I watch your babies, they aren’t just another booking. I take the time to learn their routine, personality, favorite activities, and any special instructions so they can feel comfortable and secure while you’re away. Whether your pet loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having someone nearby, I’ll make sure they receive the individualized care they deserve. You’ll receive tons of pupdates, photos, and messages so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy, safe, and in caring hands. My goal is to become the sitter you can rely on whenever you need help, a trusted person who treats your pets like family and provides the same love, patience, and attention I’d want for my own! I look forward to meeting you and your furbabies!🐶🐾 Rover is my full time job at the moment so my schedule is very open to give your pet the proper time and attention they deserve. How I care for your fur baby is completely contingent on the owner. I follow all guidelines they have set in place whatever those may be. But you can trust they are always in the best of hands.
“This was our first time leaving our baby with anyone other than her grandma and we were very nervous. TeAsia eased our worries and gave us daily updates and photos and videos. It takes Sylvester a little bit to get used to people but she took to TeAsia right away. She seemed well cared for and loved. Overall we were very happy with our experience.”

“Mackenzie was such a great help with caring for my pets over a two week period. She was prompt to check in at each of her visits and really went above and beyond in all of the tasks I assigned to her. She communicated any updates with me and put me at ease with her professionalism. Mackenzie has so much kindness to share and I it shows in her attentiveness, care and overall personality. I would trust her again to help out anytime. Very pleased. Stephanie”

About: Hey friends! I graduated with an AAS in Veterinary Technology in 2019 from Muscatine, Iowa. I have been a Licensed Veterinary Technician since 2020 and I absolutely love it. I have a large passion for animal care and know that they deserve as much love as people do. My family and friends have always had animals as well, so I’ve helped with them here and there. I’ve done quite a few jobs on here and it’s always been a great experience! I am CPR trained for both cats and dogs and know how to give various medications in various ways. I worked at Northgate Small Animal Hospital in Collinsville, IL for over 2 years and recently quit this year due to my CF, but I still keep up to date with my licensure! I can work with dogs, cats, and small exotic animals including hamsters, Guinea pigs, rabbits, ferrets, etc. Don’t worry, you can trust me with all of your fur babies!!! As previously mentioned, I quit working as a Vet Tech in 2023 do to hardships with my Cystic Fibrosis. I still do Rover jobs, so feel free to ask me if you need me! I had a baby earlier this year in April, so my schedule will depend on him and that of my hubbys! Other than that, just let me know and ask me! I don’t watch animals at my home due to our dog, Chief, being dog aggressive but I’m always happy to come to your home and visit your pets! I’m happy to follow a schedule or do whatever you need while at your home!

Perfect for high energy dogs - Ames
“Chico, my elderly Chihuahua, went to doggie daycare with Amy in Columbia for a couple of hours while I met friends for lunch. Amy has such a wonderful way with animals; you can tell she really loves watching them. She took lots of photos, have Chico lots of attention and even had a pet guestbook for him to sign. Such a cute idea. If you ever need a pet sitter, I highly recommend Amy.”

“Haley is wonderful, always giving me details as my little man's anxiety around new people and places lessens every day. As soon as I met her and her children I knew that they'd have a calming influence on him. So glad I found her!!”

“Karissa was absolutely amazing made the drop off and pick up very easy. This was Rivers first time with someone else that he didn’t know. She took amazing care of him. We will definitely use her again. Thanks Rene and Gary”

“Mozzy had a great time playing with other dogs during her stay, Rachell had a wonderful yard to play in and was very on top of maintaining safety and watch over our girl. We got lots of pictures and our Mozzy had a ton of fun and came home exhausted and happy!”

About: I had my own personal dogs for over 20 years in total but do not currently have any pets. As my schedule allows, I help out with short-term fostering for a rescue that I adopted two of my dogs from. All 3 of my dogs ended up with health issues in their old age so I have plenty of experience giving medications, feeding special diets, assisting with mobility issues, etc. Because my boy was dog reactive, I became a master at 'crate/gate/separate' when fostering while he was alive. However, I intend to only sit animals that are from the same home at one time so the animals do not face any restrictions needing to avoid animals they do not live with. I work from home (day job) so I will be around most of the time during the care dates with the exception of any planned events outside of the home (which likely would not be more than a few hours at a time). I have a fenced yard (4 feet) for quick potty breaks (I do not leave dogs unattended in my yard). For walks, I can use a double leash/collar if needed for extra security. I do have a shared fence line with a neighbor dog that is reactive so, when needed, I run a line of chicken wire to keep dogs in my yard from being able to reach that fence. The neighbor’s dog is my primary reason for marking ‘no’ to un-spayed/neutered. I don’t leave any dogs I watch unattended in my back yard but he’s a Cane Corso that’s not neutered and my fence is only 4ft tall so I figured better safe than sorry.

About: I’ve dog sat for family members on multiple occasions. The dogs seen in my photographs are family dogs that have stayed in my home. I will adhere to the preference of pet owners on if the pets can interact with other pets. I work full-time as a remote employee for Royal Canin. I’m actively provided breaks, lunches, and planned time that I could take out and feed pets. While my residence is unfenced, the neighborhood is very safe within a small town. The pets will be free to move about inside of the home and I can accommodate if they need to be on a leash even in the backyard.
About: I have trained puppies and have had multiple pets. My friends are always asking me to help with their animals, even financially. I love the meet and greets and spending my time with animals! I am only Doordashing right now for work and pet sitting so my hours are very flexible! I am pregnant though! But that has no effect because my boyfriend tends to help me with the animals so that your animal is busy all day when he is home and I try to spend some time Dashing! We have ample time for any hour for feedings, walks, playtime, or potty breaks! I am safe and reliable. Always on my toes and ready for a fun day with a pet. I hope you will entrust me. I do not steal and or trash anywhere I go.
About: I bring years of hands-on experience in animal care, including working as a behavior modification dog trainer and spending many years in veterinary medicine. This background allows me to understand not only canine behavior, but also health, safety, and early signs of medical concerns. I’m highly enthusiastic about canine fitness and nutrition, and I tailor care to each dog’s individual needs, energy level, and routine. Whether your dog needs structured exercise, calm, attentive care, I provide a safe, knowledgeable, and compassionate experience. Your pet’s well-being—both physical and mental—is always my top priority. I’m home full-time, so boarded dogs receive constant supervision, structure, and individualized care. My days are centered around caring for dogs, which allows me to safely manage multiple boarding dogs with different needs, energy levels, and routines. Each dog receives a balanced routine of exercise, enrichment, and rest in a calm, structured environment. I closely monitor behavior, maintain safe group dynamics, and provide plenty of one-on-one attention to ensure every dog feels secure and comfortable during their stay. Safety and trust are my top priorities. I maintain a structured, calm household designed to meet the needs of a wide range of dogs. I have multiple separate rooms available for dogs who do not do well with other animals, allowing them to relax comfortably without stress. For dogs who enjoy social time, there is plenty of space for safe interaction and movement. I require dogs to be crate trained overnight or reliably potty trained with an established routine, which helps ensure safety, cleanliness, and consistency for everyone in my care. My home includes a secure, fenced-in yard for supervised outdoor time, exercise, and play. While structure is an important part of my household, dogs also enjoy playtime, enrichment, and appropriate freedom based on their individual needs and comfort level. With my experience and environment, I provide a safe, attentive, and well-managed space where dogs can feel secure and well cared for.
About: I’ve cared for a variety of dogs and cats — for friends, family, and many clients through Rover — over the past decade. I take pride in providing attentive, detail-oriented, and scientifically informed care to ensure your pets are happy and healthy. I am a physician research fellow completing a research fellowship at WashU, where I primarily work from home with a flexible schedule. This allows me to provide frequent attention, walks, playtime, and potty breaks throughout the day. I only need to be away one afternoon each week for clinic, so your pet will receive plenty of care and companionship. I follow each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medications (if needed), and plenty of individual attention. In my home, pets have access to a dedicated indoor playroom that opens directly onto a spacious backyard, providing a safe and comfortable space to relax and play. There is also a large fenced play area approximately 300 yards from my backyard where dogs can enjoy additional exercise and outdoor time. I maintain a clean, safe environment and provide regular updates with photos so owners can have peace of mind while they’re away.
About: I am a work from home RN which allows me to be present with your babies and give them all the snuggles, treats, walks and play time they could want. My husband and I both have had dogs all of our lives and feel completely comfortable around all types of breeds. We have two dogs of our own and they are so incredibly loved and cared for. We will give you the peace of mind while you are away that your babies are cared for as you would. Since I am home all day, there's very little time your pup will be left alone. I can provide frequent potty breaks, play time and walks. We live on a peaceful 1.3-acre property and are one of only three houses on a long, quiet dead-end street with virtually no traffic. We have a massive backyard surrounded by nature with endless room for pups to run and play! A quick note on safety: While our large yard is unfenced, your dog's safety is our absolute top priority. If your pup is a wanderer or loves to roam, we are fully prepared to take extra measures—such as using long training lines, continuous supervision, or structured outdoor play—to ensure they get plenty of freedom and exercise without compromising their safety. As the proud owner of two dogs myself, I completely understand the anxiety of leaving your furry family members. I treat every guest like my own and promise to keep your babies safe, happy, and loved in your absence!
About: So I just love dogs. I have had dogs my whole life and will never not have one. I work from home and am very physically active so my lifestyle works well with dogs as I am around to simply hang out with the dogs or go on long walks if needed! Luckily I work from home as an attorney and am able to provide many walks and attention throughout the day. I also live in an area with a lake and multiple dog parks. I am extremely attentive with any dogs that I take care of. I will provide sitting with care and attention and make sure your dog is safe and taken care of.
“If you are a super picky dog parent like me, you will not trust your babies to just anyone looking to make a few extra bucks while you're away. Wendy's home is dog friendly with plenty of fresh clean water, comfortable furniture, baby gates to prevent door-dashing, and a well maintained HUGE secure fenced back yard with plenty of room for your dogs to run and explore! She is a wonderful pet parent, and her personal dogs are very well socialized, loved and cared for. 5 stars from this dog mom!”

About: I’ve loved and cared for dogs my whole life—at least five of my own since childhood! I’ve learned how to understand their personalities and needs, and even trained my current dog to be calm and social. My home is cozy, welcoming, and set up for a dog’s comfort and routine. I provide the same love, structure, and attention to every pup I watch, making sure they feel safe, happy, and right at home while you’re away. I currently work from home and have a flexible schedule, which allows me to give dogs plenty of attention and companionship throughout the day. I love starting the day with a morning walk and taking another in the evening to wind down. I’m also available on weekends with at least a week’s notice—perfect for when you need a reliable sitter for your pup. In my home, dogs are treated like family. I have a friendly pup who loves making new friends and keeping other dogs company. There’s a cozy space where pets can relax, nap, or be crated if they need their own quiet time. My fenced yard gives them plenty of room for potty breaks and playtime in a safe environment. If I’m caring for your dog in your home, I’ll follow their normal routines to help them feel secure and loved while you’re away. I’m dependable, respectful of your home, and willing to go the extra mile to make sure every pet feels safe, loved, and understood. As a flexible part-time worker, I don’t mind driving or going the extra mile to make sure your home and pets are cared for like family I care for pets by following their normal routines as closely as possible. About: I’ve always loved animals and genuinely enjoy spending time caring for them, playing with them, and making sure they feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that pets are family, so I treat every dog with the same patience, attention, and love I would want for my own. What sets me apart is that I truly care about making pets feel happy, relaxed, and cared for, not just watched. I pay close attention to each dog’s personality and needs, whether that means lots of playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply giving them a calm environment where they feel secure. I also know how important communication is, so I make sure owners feel comfortable with updates and pictures while they’re away. My goal is to make both pets and owners feel completely at ease and confident in the care they’re receiving. I am currently home from college for the summer, I am available at almost any time! I do not typically work after 10 PM but can work something out if needed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as normal and comfortable as possible. I make sure they are fed on schedule, have fresh water, get plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime, and feel safe while their owners are away. I also understand that being in their own home helps many pets feel more relaxed and secure. I’m respectful of each client’s home and follow all care instructions carefully, including walks, medications, crate routines, bedtime routines, or any special needs. I also provide updates and photos so owners can feel reassured knowing their pets are happy and well cared for.
“Catelyn is so nice and loved my dogs! She gave us an update after every walk with a note and pictures! You can truly tell she loves dogs and wants to give them the best!!”

About: I’ve grown up around rescued misunderstood breeds so I know how important quality care for your pet‘s personality can be. I’ve been taking care of family and friends pets since I was 12, as well as volunteered at local shelters. I’m currently in school and looking for a job that allows me to spend my free time at home so my schedule is completely free. I live in a dog-friendly apartment that included a dog park. I have my own 3 year old cocker spaniel that I rescued last year who super laidback and well trained. I have a very large crate that would be comfortable for nearly any breed if needed, but it being summer I have no need to leave your pet unattended for long.
About: Hi my name is Diane, and I have been caring for dogs, cats, fish and birds most of my life. I will care for your precious babies just like my own. They will receive professional care, love, attention and affection. This is my full time job, if you can call it that. It's a blessing. It has a king size bed and lots of windows for bird watching. I only book one family's cat or cats at a time. I have excellent reviews and references. Thank you for your consideration. As a teacher, I am dependable, responsible, and patient. I've had dogs my entire life and have spent years walking and pet sitting for friends and family. I currently have a Miniature Pinscher named Pinot, who is my whole world, so I understand how important it is to find someone who will care for your dog like family. My own dog, Pinot, is a big part of my everyday life, so walks, playtime, feeding, and lots of affection are already built into my day. I enjoy being active and spending time with animals, making pet care something I genuinely look forward to each week rather than just another task. When caring for pets in a client's home, I follow their established routine as closely as possible to help their pet feel comfortable and secure. Whether I'm stopping by for a potty break, feeding, playtime, or a walk, I make sure each pet receives plenty of attention, affection, and exercise. I always prioritize safety, follow any specific instructions provided by the owner, and keep them updated with photos and messages so they can have peace of mind while they're away.

Thank you, Jade, you are an amazing human!”

“Memphis loved her boarding experience with Aurora! I was sent with pictures, videos, and updates throughout the stay which was greatly appreciated. We will definitely be booking with Aurora again!”
