Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow- I absolutely love them all. I have a 12 year old lab, who has slowed down a lot. She is my everything. I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk or watch. I understand these are your babies. My house is set up well with a fenced in back yard and lots of attention and love offered. Let me know what questions or concerns you might have! I work Monday-Friday, I am usually free in the evenings and off on Thursdays typically. About: I have had a dog for 8 years and am considering adopting a sibling. This will be a great way to not only find some wonderful new doggy friends and families but to also acclimate my dog to having another dog in the house. I have a large fenced in yard and am home on weekends so my dog and I would welcome some company! I work full time during the week and am in the office 3 days so I work from home on Fridays and have weekends free! I have a fenced in yard and friendly dog who would love some company. I do also have a crate so can crate your pup as well or they can sleep in a bed, on the couch, wherever they are comfortable!

We also have two cats and a baby. Dogs have to be friendly. Our yard is 0.5 acre, loads of room to roam. Recently we removed our old swimming pool so now there is even more space for the animals to run. Your pet will be always supervised. If your pet stays at my house you need to provide their food. I would also recommend to bring their blanket or a favourite toy to help with the transition. If your pet is used to sleeping in a crate please bring your crate too or let me know ahead so I can make sure my crate is available. I can provide treats, blankets, bowls and toys. All pets sleep inside the home.

About: I have 14 years of dog handling experience. I have participated in my local 4-H dog care and training group for 10 years and local FFA ( Future Farmers of America) chapter for 4 years. Between 4-H and FFA, I have received many awards for my dedication for dog care. Within the years, I have interacted with different temperaments from reactive to calm. I am currently working towards a degree in Animal Health. I currently have an internship at a local farm. I have a weekly routine set up, that does not interfere with my internship; and your dog is able to have the best experience. Taking care of pets require routine, animals thrive with the stability a routine provides. Pets also need enrichment, which can be play sessions, clean areas, attention, and walks. A pet- proof home helps with safety and well- being of the pet.
About: I have had my own pets since I was a young child. I have taken care of many of my friends, family, neighbors, and church members pets over the years. I love dogs and kitties and believe they deserve to be well taken care of. They depend on us to be good to them and are at our mercy. If they are mistreated they can't say anything. This makes it that much more important to be good to our pets. I am not currently working so I have a lot of free time. I have 6 grown children who are on thier own. Two in college, the rest with their own families. I have one friendly lab mix who loves playmates. A fenced in yard, doggie door, and all hardwood floors so accidents are not tragic! I am within walking distance of our city bike/walking trail for long doggie walks.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was around 12 or 13 years old. I would take care of neighbor's, and family member's animals. Such as walking them, feeding them, giving them the love and care that they receive everyday from their owners. I am in college so my schedule is very consistent! Two days out of the week I have 8:30am classes and then the other 3 days my classes start at noon. I am very flexible however, all of my classes end at or before 5pm. So I am available early morning, late morning, afternoon evening, depending on the day! Just reach out and I’m sure we can make it work!! About: Plenty of walking trails in the Edwardsville/ Glen Carbon/ Maryville area! I can stop in once in the morning or once in the evening for walkies. I can walk your pup with harness on. I have a German shepherd who can be be stubborn, but it has taught me how to deal with animals like her and to have patience. Big, small, medium, even tempered, wild, mellow- I absolutely love them all. I have a 12 year old lab, who has slowed down a lot. She is my everything. I find something about raising a dog from a young pup to an aging one, so very special and rewarding. If your dog is fast paced or likes to smell every blade of grass, I’m game. Rain, shine, or snow, I’m available. I’d absolutely appreciate it if you gave me the opportunity to spoil your dog, not just walk or watch. I understand these are your babies.
