My wife and I currently own a Brittany, a Golden Collie, and an old herding dog. My dogs enjoy a huge fenced back yard while also having 12 acres to run around and burn energy. I have cared for a blind senior cat as well as a cat with hip problems, which required patience, close monitoring, and adapting the environment to keep them safe and comfortable. Growing up, my family always had dogs and cats around the house, and it’s a tradition I’ve proudly continued into adulthood. Sadly, both of my beloved pugs passed away over the last few years. About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have worked at, volunteered at, and fostered for dog and cat shelters as well as many other animals, and have volunteered and worked at a veterinary teaching hospital. I mainly take care of any type of dog, and I mainly stay at my friends’ houses if needed, but i have also had pets stay with me as well. I am currently a college student and will be in Coeur d Alene for the summer time (May-August) and in Moscow during the school year (August-May). During the breaks I will also be back in Coeur d Alene, so I love to help out whenever I can! I have a line that goes around my back yard, and I have 2 dogs and 2 cats at my house. My cats are outdoor and indoor cats, and my dogs are indoor and very friendly.

About: I have taken care of animals since I was a pre-teen, but fell in love with animal care fully in my junior year of high school, after I began volunteering at the Everett Animal Shelter. Since then, I have changed positions and worked as a post-surgery volunteer with PAWS, transporting and handling anesthetized animals after they underwent surgeries. This summer I am also interning at PAWS again, this time as a Foster Care Intern, where I manage the entire foster care system behind the scenes. Additionally, I have worked with large animals such as horses while volunteering, managed and milked dairy cattle, and took care of pigs as my job on the side. I intern at paws from 8am-12pm on Sundays & Mondays, and 12-5pm on Thursdays, but other than that, I am free for walks, house sitting, or drop ins! Safety is extremely important during both house sitting & walks! For walks, I like to make sure dogs stay on the side of the sidewalk away from the road, as well as being properly harnessed and equipped with essential needs like poop bags and water incase of an emergency. I also keep a sharp eye out for other dogs to steer clear from unwanted interactions. Additionally, during house sitting, outside doors stay locked at all times, and your pet is watched 24/7. I am on my 4th year at WSU, majoring in wildlife ecology and conservation, so I have great basic knowledge and skills to care for animals! About: I have been growing up around dogs my whole life. As a child and into my teen years, I did the Dog project in 4-H for five years and helped lead the group. I have experience handling and training dogs for obedience and show environments, and I am comfortable with all pets! I have been house-sitting in the summers for many different dog-owners, so I am knowledgeable and experienced in providing care for these animals. My parents' dog (aka "my" dog) is a German Shorthaired Pointer and his name is Murphy. I spend a lot of time with him, and I have a special spot in my heart for all animals. I also spent a couple years co-parenting a little calico cat named Stitch with my best friend. I do also have some experience with reptiles, as I currently have one bearded dragon and one Pac-Man frog in my care. I am unable to have a dog or cat of my own at this stage in my life, due to money and living restraints, but I am thankful when I can spend time with others’ animals in this way. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry friend and give them lots of love! I am currently a Graduate Admissions Specialist / DSO at the University of Idaho! This means that I do work full-time (8-5 with a 1-hour lunch break) on campus on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday, and I work full-time from home on Thursdays. I do not work weekends and am usually very available if I have not marked it off on my Rover calendar. If your animal is okay/used to being alone for the work day, or can be alone for 4-5 hours at a time, I am the fit for you during the week. UPDATE: I have moved to Lewiston, ID as of 7/31/2026. I still commute to work in Moscow, ID for the time being, but will be available in the mornings before work and evenings after. I am currently looking for a full-time remote job or position located in Lewiston. I will update this section once my employment situation changes! If your pet requires more frequent attention, I might be your gal for a weekend trip! On the weekends, I do not work and have lots of time to hang around with your pet(s)! :) At the moment I am not able to be boarding at my own address, and I am open to house-sitting after I have established a positive face-to-face relationship with each client.
