“Wendy and her husband were so nice during the meet and great and tour of their vast property. The property had a great country feel and lots of space for our dog to play with supervision. She explained how the dog kennels worked, which were a great size with open air and heated indoor area. Wendy answered all of our questions and was a great communicator before, during and after. Our Golden Retriever gravitated to her from day one. She was boarded from drop off on 11/22 to pickup on 11/29. Absolutely loved the videos and photos she sent during that time showing our girl happy and playing her heart out. Upon arriving back at home our golden had a nice long nap and was back to her normal routine upon waking up, which says a lot. We felt the boarding fees were appropriate and are grateful to have found Wendy. We would highly recommend her and will continue using her services.”

About: I have been around animals since I was a baby, I have 19 years of pet experience. We have a small farm. I’ve also helped my mom on rover for the past few months. I am currently helping my mother with Rover so my schedule is pretty flexible. When you book with either of us you will receive 3 adults giving your babies the upmost care and respect. I have a fenced 3 acre yard and 3 friendly dogs to keep your babies company. I have crates and means of separation if that is necessary. We treat our company like family, they are allowed on furniture and able to sleep with us unless told otherwise.

About: I am a stay at home mom, so I'm available all day for potty breaks and any other needs. I have personally owned dogs for the last nine years and instantly fell in love. I will continue to have dogs for the rest of my life. I live on twenty fenced acres with an additional 20 fenced acres for dogs to play on. In the past I have volunteered with animal adoption programs, so I have experience with a very large variety of dog breeds and mixes. Currently I have a two year old daughter and a one year old son I recently lost my dogs to cancer and I would love to have some friendly dogs come visit so we could have some playmates.

About: My name is Megan and I have been taking care of animals most of my life. I work in the veterinary field as an assistant in rooms and surgery. I am able to handle any size dog or cat. I am able to medicate, walk, drop in, feed, or just hangout with your pet. I do work full time. I am available to drop in before work and drop in after work. I can also do walks after work. I work 4 days a week. On my days off I can drop in 2-3 times a day or go for walks! Taking care of pets in your home I will also focus on the home itself. “I reached out to Mary on Sunday in desperation hoping to find a dog sitter so that we could take our kids to Silverwood on Monday and have our dogs be cool and hydrated while we went to the park. Mary was so responsive with booking, pick up, drop off and sending pictures throughout the day. Her kids Tristan and Taylor were instrumental in helping with pick up and drop off. “During my visit to Coeur 'd Alene, we had some activities planned that were not suitable for dogs. I turned to Rover after reading some troubling reviews on the local pet resorts. And I could not be happier that I went this route! After reading several profiles and reviews, I found Carolyn and she was quick to respond to my last minute request, literally the night before we needed a sitter. After sharing a little information back and forth, she agreed to take our girl Shelby for the day. I can't express enough how very blessed and fortunate I was to have found Carolyn. Upon meeting her, and dropping off Shelby the next morning, I felt an instant connection, and she was gracious in sending me updates and pics throughout the day to provide assurance that Shelby was doing fine! We continued to use Carolyn's services for several more days, and each morning when we arrived, Shelby was excited to see her, and to go play with the other dogs in her care. Carolyn provided a good balance of outdoor play and indoor rest to ensure that the dogs didn't get too overheated. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating with drop off and pickup times as well. I will close with saying that Carolyn is an absolute sweetheart, and that I gained a new friend in Coeur 'd Alene! I look forward to using her services when visiting the area again. She will take care of your pet as if it were her own.”

“We were traveling to Waterton National Park of Canada by way of Coeur d’Alene. We wanted a place to leave our sweet pup Georgie to allow for flexibility with our friends. About: I’ve had 2 shihtzus since they were 8 weeks old. Have lost both within the last 2 years at ages 15 and 17. Me and hubby enjoyed them and we miss them terribly. I love strolls around the block and playtime. Serious lap time and undivided attention is awaiting your special fur baby, as I am retired and at home full time. Each year I go to Utah to dog sit for my middle son for 2 weeks while they vacation. They’ve had a Rottweiler, Berniedoodle and Yorkies. The big guys loved TAKING ME on daily walks around their local park. I always took my 2 shihtzus swimming every time we went boating. Perfect day in my opinion!!! I am retired and available most of the time. Short trips to the grocery store or other errands are basically the only time I leave. I have a fenced yard and plenty of room inside and outside. Special diets or medications are not a problem. I liked to wash my dogs faces after mealtimes. They can sleep in my bed, or not. Your preference.
About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

About: I lived on a small farm growing up and fell in love with animals. I took 4H when I was little putting rabbits in the fair. One thing to know about 4H Rabbits is at the Fair is that they are the tamest rabbit there, because of the time and love we give the rabbits. At the fair we got the opportunity to present the open class rabbits to the judges since we where train to handle them. I also worked with our family dog, (a collie at the time), on training him for 4H. Since them, in my teenage years, I bread and hand raise parkettes. I sold them to people once they where old enough to leave there moms. I know have two dogs I rescued, and a cat. I am always walking my dogs come rain, snow. Or sunshine. If you find yourself unable to walk your dogs because of work or weather, I am more then willing to walk them for you. Just give me a shout! I have three friendly dogs and a cat to keep your dogs, or cat company. I always leash the pets up before we go out for walks or whatever to keep them safe.
About: Hello! My name is Emma Brown and I work in the outdoor field hoping to work with wildlife in the future. I have always had dogs in my household growing up. Ever since I was young, I made it my job to teach my dogs tricks, make sure they don’t get into trouble, and give them the best home. At one point, my childhood dog had a litter of 11 chocolate lab puppies. I helped to raise them up all the way until they left for their new homes. I also watched other people’s dogs growing up. I have always made it my priority to understand each pet owners request and stick to that schedule. Prioritizing each dog’s safety and health has always been my biggest strength as well. This is what I love to do and I can’t wait to get to know your pets! I’m currently in between jobs right now and will have a lot of time to be with your pets. Depending on what you ask, I can take out your pets on walks, to be let out, or to just be around however long you may ask for. Just let me know what schedule you’d like me to fit into. I unfortunately can’t house your dog in my home. I can pet and house sit to make sure to keep their schedule as normal as possible. I always try my best to prioritize their safety and health, so only giving them their own food and treats is how I do so. I don’t feed my own pets my extra food scraps so don’t worry about that. Once you let me know of their schedule, I’ll follow it to the best of my ability. I would also love to know their mannerisms and quirks so I can best approach them and their care.

About: I love all animals and all breeds. Since I was young I have been caring for and around numerous types and breeds of animals. I have learned that much like people every dog, cat, lizard, etc has its own personality and needs. Im ready and willing to give your pets the best care and love imaginable while you're away. Im not afraid of difficult animals with harder temperaments. Im patient and want to be your pets new friend. This will be one of the main ways I earn money in parallel with Uber eats. If I take a pet sit job it will be prioritized over UberEats. My days and nights are pretty open. Im a single father of an almost 3 year old little girl. She loves animals too and if your fur baby is ok with kids she would love to play as well. I will follow all stipulations and requests for your pet to help keep their routine and keep them comfy and happy. I have a decent sized property. Some fenced. Most open. We are out in chattaroy so not much of the city by us. If your pets like other dogs/animals we do have 3 dogs that regularly visit the property. They all 3 are extremely friendly and playful. As I said above I will follow all regimens and requests by owner to keep your pets happy and comfortable in their routine.

About: I’ve lived on a farm my whole life. We mainly have Angora goats, chickens, ducks, and guardian dogs. However, we’ve also had the occasional sheep, dairy goat, guinea hen and even a llama. In the house we have a Vizsla, four cats, and salt water fish. In the past I have also had a gecko and a hedgehog. I am available from 11am to 2pm and after 5pm. My weekend availability varies as I have tournaments most weekends, but I am usually available all day on Sundays. I also am available full time during holiday breaks. I do not offer care at my house because I don’t want to risk any problems with my pets, but I am happy to come to your house or take your pets for walks!

I really enjoy getting to have new pet friends! I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. This makes it very easy for me to be in a home with pets who need more attention, or dogs that need walked often. I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!

About: I have been raising, training and keeping animals under control amd safe all my life. I have been taught how handle and care for dogs especially since I was little, my family owns a dog kennel in which I was instrumental in keeping our dogs happy, clean and well fed. About: In the last three years I’ve raised 3 different puppies and taken care of a personal rescue. Aswell I’ve taken care of 3 senior/weak dogs at the same time with no issues. I currently work as a farm hand on my mom’s horse facility. So when home I’m out doing projects. But I can leave and stay anywhere if without much fuss. I have a nice fenced yard for free play time aswell as some land for them to really stretch the legs. I have two healers at my home. One spayed female 2yrs old, and one 7 month old male not neutered. They love to play but also jsut chill and cuddle.
About: While growing up, we always had dogs, living with my best friend, i was her dogs' training instructor, and I have almost always lived with dogs' myself. I love them, despite them being much more needy than cats, but alike, we've always had cats too- even some households where cats and dogs weren't allowed to intermingle. I'm quick to catch a runaway and I've got an open schedule most the time. Our animals are like our children, they need attentive love and care, they sleep a lot, but their bedtimes food schedules and habits are as much of their nature as habit, and breaking their habits, never results in good endings. I operate my own business as SeansServices.Com, I do several tasks like landscaping, cleaning, moving or hauling. My schedule is pretty open until i have a job, then after my job, I am wide open again. There are times I'll do a long distance move, but I do know others on Rover I can recommend or refer if I am unavailable. I will always be up front. I currently cannot offer at home care, but I play with, work with and ask for or look up schedules every time they're given, with screen shots and alarms just like any job, I take my jobs seriously and my attentive and alertness on high. I never know what an animal is capable of until they show me, so I treat them all fairly with common warnings in mind, while addressing and watching for new concerns.

“Wendy and her husband were so nice during the meet and great and tour of their vast property. The property had a great country feel and lots of space for our dog to play with supervision. She explained how the dog kennels worked, which were a great size with open air and heated indoor area. Wendy answered all of our questions and was a great communicator before, during and after. Our Golden Retriever gravitated to her from day one. She was boarded from drop off on 11/22 to pickup on 11/29. Absolutely loved the videos and photos she sent during that time showing our girl happy and playing her heart out. Upon arriving back at home our golden had a nice long nap and was back to her normal routine upon waking up, which says a lot. We felt the boarding fees were appropriate and are grateful to have found Wendy. We would highly recommend her and will continue using her services.”

About: I have been around animals since I was a baby, I have 19 years of pet experience. We have a small farm. I’ve also helped my mom on rover for the past few months. I am currently helping my mother with Rover so my schedule is pretty flexible. When you book with either of us you will receive 3 adults giving your babies the upmost care and respect. I have a fenced 3 acre yard and 3 friendly dogs to keep your babies company. I have crates and means of separation if that is necessary. We treat our company like family, they are allowed on furniture and able to sleep with us unless told otherwise.
