Our Luna has been a bit depressed since her stroke a few years ago but after coming home from doggy daycare with them she way spunky, happy, and is even spending more time outside with a smile whereas it was difficult to get her to enjoy much time outside before as she would want to go back into the house or wouldn’t leave the back porch much. I’m so happy to see her rolling in the dirt and playing now. This means the world!!! She requires a lot of care and they did an excellent job even wrapping her foot really well and keeping it protected. About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.

“We are from Seattle area so of course finding a sitter for our two dogs was a little hard for us. After going through many suggestions and profiles we found Justin. When we showed up to his place he took the time to get to know the dogs and showed us where they would be and his yard. They immediately took to him and couldn’t be happier. He wore out two high energy silver labs and sent us updates of how they were doing. Even on the second day when we dropped them off instead of chasing a squirrel they instantly went to Justin for another fun day. About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

Warm and friendly and bonded with Ranger immediately. Met her at house next day for drop off and she was very attentive asking questions about allergies and concerns. Felt very comfortable and at ease with leaving Ranger there for a “staycation”. He settled in quickly and Jackie kept me updated with text and pics and how he was doing throughout the day. I have always wanted a pet, but my love of travel has held me back. When not traveling, I'm a homebody. (In short, I’d probably prefer to hang out with your pet, rather than go out on the town..) I like to be cozy with books, tea, and walks in nature. I have a car, and I am flexible with my schedule. I want to accomadate the sensitivities and special needs of any household and/or pets, and I welcome anyway I can to make you feel more comfortable with me as your pet-trustee. I really enjoy getting to have new pet friends! I have taken care of all sorts of animals--dogs, cats, birds, lizards, hamsters, bunnies, horses, pigs, goats, chickens and even cows! I feel comfortable with pets who have medical issues, as well. I also have done a fair amount of pet massages for dogs and cats (not lizards, though!!) I have an online business, so I usually housesit and work part-time online. This makes it very easy for me to be in a home with pets who need more attention, or dogs that need walked often. I have done all levels of pet care-from simple one hour drop-in visits for cats to feeding and cleaning up for horses and cows (extra fee for that!!) So, I am very versatile with my clients! I also find that I bond easily with pets, and can often connect to shy or nervous cats and dogs by being present, calm and talking to them. I also know to leave someone alone when they just don't want to connect. I usually do lots of walks and playing together as well as simply sitting and petting and offering yummy treats!
About: Hello! My name is Emma Brown and I work in the outdoor field hoping to work with wildlife in the future. I have always had dogs in my household growing up. Ever since I was young, I made it my job to teach my dogs tricks, make sure they don’t get into trouble, and give them the best home. At one point, my childhood dog had a litter of 11 chocolate lab puppies. I helped to raise them up all the way until they left for their new homes. I also watched other people’s dogs growing up. I have always made it my priority to understand each pet owners request and stick to that schedule. Prioritizing each dog’s safety and health has always been my biggest strength as well. This is what I love to do and I can’t wait to get to know your pets! I’m currently in between jobs right now and will have a lot of time to be with your pets. Depending on what you ask, I can take out your pets on walks, to be let out, or to just be around however long you may ask for. Just let me know what schedule you’d like me to fit into. I unfortunately can’t house your dog in my home. I can pet and house sit to make sure to keep their schedule as normal as possible. I always try my best to prioritize their safety and health, so only giving them their own food and treats is how I do so. I don’t feed my own pets my extra food scraps so don’t worry about that. Once you let me know of their schedule, I’ll follow it to the best of my ability. I would also love to know their mannerisms and quirks so I can best approach them and their care.

About: My first job was a at a doggy daycare/ boarding facility but I have been pet sitting since I was 12. I’ve worked with puppies all the way through seniors receiving cancer treatment. I have a playful golden retriever who adores all animals big and small. I have experience bathing and giving insulin to cats too. I volunteered at a rescue ranch for a number of years and have experience with livestock. I personally have ducks, chickens, reptiles and a senior cat as companions for my golden. I am currently working 3 days a week for a tax office and am unavailable from January to April. On my off days I hike and take my golden to the river. I have a contract that I have been using since 2010 that outlines my safety procedures. When I am in a clients home I always have them review it and do a walk around of the home with them. From my years at doggy daycare I am pretty familiar with certain breed characteristics like the awesome heights husky’s can jump or the tunneling ability of a weenie. I also am very understanding about separation anxiety as someone who has worked at rescues. For walks I require a harness or collar the dog cannot slip out of. I require an in person meeting beforehand, if doggy play dates with my dog are requested we must meet on neutral ground first to see how they interact.
