“There aren't enough good things that I can say about Chad and his family! Not only was he super responsive, but I definitely felt like my dog was in good hands. Throughout my trip, I received many photo updates, usually when my dog was out and about playing with other pups. Having someone that you can depend on is paramount and I hit the jackpot with Chad. THANK YOU!!! P.S. Jovie says hello 🙂”

“Elena was wonderful with our Schatzi. You could tell our girl loved her too with the kisses she gave her when Elena dropped her back home after we returned and hugged her goodbye. She kept in touch and sent a video reassuring me she was in the perfect hands. It made our much needed get away more relaxing. Thank you and know we appreciated you. B”

“Ashley and her family are wonderful! We are repeat clients and even have 2 more stays booked!! We know our dogs are being showered with attention and love. And they highly enjoy their stay with them!”

“Tina was fantastic. My little Archie had a blast exploring in her fenced backyard and having company with her dogs. She also kept me up-to-date with pictures 😊 I couldn’t recommend her more. Thank you so much, Tina! 🫶”

“Excellent sitter! He was kind, professional, and very responsive, making everything easy from start to finish. I really appreciated his communication and reliability. I would absolutely recommend him and wouldn’t hesitate to book with him again.”

“Ellie looked very happy and comfortable with Bob and Vicky. She loved the large backyard to run around and relax in and enjoyed her daily walks. They treated her as if she was their own pet. She quickly warmed up and was comfortable around Jax. Based on the daily videos and pictures we received from Bob and Vicky we enjoyed our vacation because we knew she was in a safe and loving home.”

“Jillian is wonderful and took great care of our very small doodle. We look forward to booking with Jillian the next time we're out of town. Highly recommended.”

“Moya is amazing. I cannot recommend her high enough. I have an older dog so am always very careful with where I place him and she immediately put my worries to ease. Great communication before, during, and after. Family environment which was perfect for my dog. It felt more like an extension of my own care for my dog than trying to fit him into a different environment. Thank you Moya!!”

“Megan was amazing with our two labs. She’s very responsive and kept this momma up to date with videos and pictures during their stay. They came home happy and very tired from all the playing. We will absolutely use Megan again for our boarding needs!”

“Meghan was a GREAT care provider for my dog! I don’t easily leave my dog with others. I was gone a week and when I came back to pick up my dog, I think he had so much fun that he thought this was going to be his new great house. He played with other dogs and made new great dog friends, he slept in the room at night w Meghan, he played in the backyard w his new buds, had baths, found mud, and Meghan rolled w it all. She’s flexible, loving, attentive, and warmly accommodates personal dog styles. Thank you, Meghan.”

“My dog loved staying with Maddy and her family! She accepted a somewhat last minute request and was so flexible and was great at communicating! I’ll definitely reach out to her first next time I need someone to watch my dog!”

“Our dogs had a great time. We had boarded them before doing rover and they came back covered in pee and very nervous. When we picked up the dogs from Rich they where very happy and excited. They really helped us out as one of the dogs doesn't do very well with other animals and they made it so that he could be outside for more than just walks.”

“Heidi and her family make me feel very comfortable- that they’re talking great care of my puppy. Updates and pictures always help a lot too Very happy with her flexibility and affection with the puppy.”

“Our Girls had a wonderful stay with Lori. We so appreciated Lori answering questions and providing updates and photos on how our girls were doing. Thank you, Lori! 🐾💜🐾”

“This was our first time leaving our GSD with Elise. We were very pleased with her care for him, her responsiveness to us and the updates she provided. She was also very flexible when our travel plans changed. We will definitely ask her to keep Enzo again. Thanks Elise”

“Tyler was an excellent dog sitter, he took care of our elderly dog like he was his own! Very responsive and sent us photos throughout the stay. Thank you Tyler!”

About: I have taken care of a couple of different sets of cats. I love them all, even if they're a bit angry about an intruder. I've administered meds to cats before, traditionally in the pill form. I actively attempt to play with and love on the cats I work with, as long as their recipient. I am not afraid of getting clawed or bitten since its happened so many times with my previous cat.

“Amanda was amazing! We are so happy that our babies were well taken care of. She went above and beyond, and are so grateful for everything she did. We received daily updates and are happy knowing that our kitties were happy!”

About: I've been a cat owner for over 20 years, and my cat is my world. I'm the cat owner who only gives my cat filtered water, cleans the litter box everyday, and lets her sleep right under the blanket with me. I understand the unique personalities, little quirks, and sometimes spicy energy that make cats so special. Every cat is different, and I believe the best care starts with taking the time to understand who they are. I approach each cat with patience and respect, giving them the space they need to feel comfortable and show me their personality. For some cats, that means lots of love, attention, and playtime right away. For others, it means quietly building trust and allowing them to warm up at their own pace. My goal is always to make your cat feel safe, respected, and cared for while you're away.
About: Animals have been a huge part of my life. I pay close attention to their needs and always give them the best care. I will make sure they are taken care of the best way possible I work full time but am available at night and durning the weekends. I can also swing but at any time to make sure they are happy. I will follow all instructions while watching your loved one in your home. I can also bring them to mine if needed for a short time.
About: I’ve had many pups in my life but right now I do not have any pups living in my home. I’ve been enjoying spending time with all my rover friends! My home has a fenced backyard and a common area dog run. I work from home so I will be around to play, give treats and go on walks all day! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds here. Working from home means I will be hanging with the pups almost all day every day except for errands. Walks every couple hours and lots of snuggles on the couch! There are no children in the home. I have a fenced yard for running and playing. I have a large kennel/crate inside the house in case your pup needs it and have lots of toys and dog beds for lounging. Stop by for a meet and greet if you would like before booking! I typically only leave the house for an hour or so a day to use the gym down the road. The pups are free to roam my home as if it was their own while I am out. Doors stay locked and no one enters unless the pets are secured so no one darts out the door! Food stays off countertops so there are no human snacks available to be snuck. Poop is scooped after every go!
“Kristi was a great. We needed someone immediately due to a sick family member in the hospital and Kristi came over and loved on our pups in our absence. She was a great help!”

About: I’ve been taking care of cats of all ages! A few years ago, my friends cat gave birth to 7 kittens. It was a mad house! But so much fun. I would love to watch your kitty and give them lots of love!

“It was our first time leaving our two senior cats since their diagnosis with CKD. We were anxious and so very worried, but that quickly faded with the excellent care our kitties received daily from Nikki and Britney. They were incredibly caregivers to our beloved pets, giving not only food and meds but lots of love and attention too. They sent daily pictures and updates which really helped put our minds at ease and we knew our fur babies were in good hands! Highly recommend Nikki and Britney. They are top notch!”

About: I am a huge dog lover! Growing up with dogs around, I've gained experience in caring for them in all areas. I am a huge fan of the outdoors and being active, so I love taking dogs for runs or walks and have pretty open availability! I love all different kinds of dogs, and the size or breed doesn't matter to me. I'm great with getting them potty-trained and can learn different training techniques quickly and easily. I believe that a dog needs the right amount of attention, exercise and diet for them to be happy, and I have the skills to gauge what each breed might need depending on their temperament. I can be contacted at any time of the day, and am looking to do as much as possible to supplement my income.

“Mary was absolutely awesome! She helped out last minute with a meet and greet and watched my little Finn during my first week back at school. This was Finn’s first time away from me, and she made him so comfortable that he was excited to come back every time. “Elena was amazing with our Sadie! It was wonderful to know we have a great, safe place for Sadie when we are in town visiting family. Sadie had a great time and was pretty tired playing with Epha all day. We will definitely be back! Elena was kind, patient and understanding of our schedule change. She was flexible, and respectful to both us and Sadie. This was a great fit for us!”

“Concetta is great, she very nice and sweet with my pup. I book a last minute care with her and she accommodate us. She adjusted her schedule to care for my pup. She very reliable, I will definitely be booking her again in the future. Thank you!”

“We couldn’t have asked for a better Rover sitter! Kelly was so warm, welcoming, and flexible with our timing. Coco immediately felt at home and had a wonderful time playing with Deyo. Kelly went above and beyond by sharing local recommendations that helped us make the most of our quick Boise visit. We had complete peace of mind knowing Coco was in such caring hands. We are incredibly grateful and would happily book with her again!”

About: Hi! I’m Hazel, a senior in high school preparing to head to college. My mom is Patricia and she and I and family team to provide pet services, but I am the main person. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my entire life, so caring for them comes naturally to me. I’ve had experience with all kinds of animals, including ducks, chicks, kittens, goats, pigs, and of course dogs. Right now, I have two dogs, Comanche and Chalko, who I’ve raised since they were puppies, as well as a kitten I helped bottle-feed after it was found at a very young age. Taking care of them has taught me patience, responsibility, and how to understand each animal’s unique personality and needs. I truly love animals and treat every pet like they’re my own. Whether your pet needs a fun, energetic walk, lots of attention and playtime, or just someone to make them feel safe and loved while you’re away, I’m here to help. You can trust that your pet will be in caring, reliable hands with me! I am at work from 8-4 generally, but have flexibility, and available outside of those hours. My daughters have other availability during the day around class schedules. I am home and available all day on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays and most holidays. I am home all day for full weeks during Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, and Spring Break. I am home during summer months. I take dogs who are kennel trained and do not allow pets on furniture. I match my care to your loved companion's individual needs. Some dogs love being outside and running around, some love to lay on a dog bed by the fire. I understand some pets are older and need a gentle approach and others are high energy and need lots of movement and interaction. I take careful care that your pet is secured and not able to leave the property. I have a huge fenced yard and a field with ample space which allows your pet to in pet heaven! Its a fun time!

About: My wife and I love dogs and are excited to have the opportunity to care for your small to medium breed non-aggressive dog(s) under 35 lbs. (Please be advised that our experience has shown that the high energy cattle /sheep dogs, shepherds, etc., are generally not a good fit for us). We both have had dogs all of our lives. We have the experience of caring for dogs through their feeding, grooming, exercising, bathing, and of course lots of loving through their senior years. We are both retired, so your dog(s) will have lots of loving attention and care throughout its/their stay. We have a doggie door so your dog(s) can have free access to our large fenced backyard. We accept only one client at a time and up to three dogs IF they are from the same client, so we can give your dog(s) our undivided attention and love. We have one dog, Jax (Cavalier King Charles). He is very loving, playful, and unaggressive. Weather permitting and with your approval, we will include your dog(s) in our daily walks in our neighborhood and excursions to local parks. However we do not allow our dog and your dog(s) in "dog parks" and do not allow them to have exposure to other dogs on our walks. Since we are retired, we will also give lots of cuddles and play in between outings, to keep them engaged. We have a dog toy box full of toys for them to play with, if they want. Just click on our profile pictures to see our "Doggie Hall of Fame" photos which show our care of our clients' dogs. We will follow your instructions, including for special needs, to make sure of your pet(s)’ total care and safety. We have a large and comfy single level home with 24/7 access to a large secure backyard and a doggie door. We will give potty breaks to those dogs that don't want to use the doggie door every couple of hours or as needed. We also have 24/7 video surveillance both inside and outside for their safety. Your dog(s) will have access to the entire house and is/are welcome to cuddle on the furniture, and can sleep in our bedroom in a doggie bed or crate, whichever your pet prefers. However, we do not allow dogs to sleep on our bed. Please let us know if you have any questions or special needs for your dog(s).

About: There hasn’t been a time in my life where I haven’t been around a dog. I’ve been with the dogs throughout their walks of life. From puppies to seniors. I have also cared for and loved several other animals. I have experience in caring for rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and birds. I also know CPR for dogs. My schedule is open so I have most days completely free! I bring my work with me so I’ll be able to stay with your pets all day. I take pets on exciting walks, and play with them if they are in the mood. I also have a knowledge of trails and other areas for walking for dogs that need deeper exercise. I also do light training, commands like sit/stay I have taught many times to dogs and also exercised with my own. Some dogs require more mental stimulation than others, so it’s best to keep them busy.
About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.

About: I've loved animals for as long as I can remember. I've always owned dogs, including German Shepherds, Belgian Malinois, Border Collies, and other high energy working breeds. I also grew up caring for horses, goats, dogs, cats, and just about every other animal you can think of. Along the way, I attended basic obedience classes with my own dogs where we learned clicker training and positive reinforcement techniques. Today, I have a German Shepherd and a cat of my own, and I know just how much our pets mean to us. Friends and neighbors have trusted me to care for their pets over the years, and it has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I'm on Rover because spending time with animals simply makes me happy. I know how hard it can be to leave your pet with someone else, and I don't take that trust lightly. When your pet is with me, I'll care for them the same way I care for my own, with patience, lots of love, and attention to their individual needs. My goal is for you to enjoy your time away knowing your pet is safe, happy, and well cared for. I own my own business, which gives me the flexibility to create my own schedule. Because of that, I'm rarely away for more than a few hours at a time, allowing me to provide attentive care and plenty of companionship for your pet. I'll always do my best to accommodate your scheduling needs and make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you're away. I am always the person worrying about my own pets and their unique needs when I'm away from the house. This means I will always follow your instructions and care for your pet in extreme detail. Making sure they're secured, have eaten, have plenty of water, ample exercise, any medications needed, and plenty of love and affection. I pay attention to the little things, and will always do everything in my power to ensure their comfortability.

My friends also call on me to tend to their animals and gardens while they are away. I can accommodate most routines, though I am committed two days per week for four hours both days. I would also like to continue to substitute teach while caring for your pet. Together, we can create a schedule that meets your pet's needs. I will feed, play with, and walk your pet, carefully following any daily routines and guidelines you provide to ensure their comfort, safety, and well-being.

As a retired individual with no outside obligations, I can devote my full attention to your fur babies—providing them with plenty of love, care, and companionship. Your pets will receive the highest level of care and attention. You set their routine, and I will follow it closely to ensure their daily needs, happiness, and well-being are fully met. 🐾
About: Hi! I am 25 years old. I am currently working sat-mon and am available Tuesday-Friday all day to take care of your fur baby! I have a small inside yorkie dog and have taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was a little kid. I absolutely love animals. I treat them as tho they are my own kids. I can do whatever is needed for your pets and I am very flexible in what you need done! I can take them for walks or do house sitting. I am just unable to watch them in my own house due to landlord rules! I am able to do whatever is needed for your dog. I have a lot of free time in the day to check on your dog. I currently only work three days out of the week so have plenty of time to watch your pets! I like to take dogs on walks or take them to the park if they are allowed. In other peoples homes I will play with them in their backyard!

About: I love dogs and cats. I grew up with both. I will treat your pet the way I would want mine to be treated with care, adoration and respect. I know that when you are away it can lead to increased stress for your animal and I will foster an environment that feels safe by maintaining their schedule and routines, enforcing boundaries and giving them the attention or space they need. I love a good snuggle, pet and long walk! I have experience with productive walk techniques to ensure your dog will get the most out of their walk. They'll feel better physically and mentally and have a greater sense of accomplishment and self-worth. I am happy to spend time with you to teach you the tools and techniques I use. Productive walks not only work wonders for your dog's mental health but can do the same for your enjoyment and bonding on a walk and can save your shoulders and knees from a dog who pulls. I look forward to meeting you and your pet!
About: Hi, I'm Wendy — a Boise animal lover, raised in Idaho. For over a decade I founded and ran an award-winning business here in Boise. That taught me the thing that matters most in pet care: show up when you said you would, every single time, and treat someone's home and routine with respect. I share my home with my dog Burt Reynolds, a 7 year old Bloodhound/Poodle “Bloodle”. What you get with me: photo updates after every visit, so you're never wondering how your dog is doing. Fresh water, walks at your dog's pace with time to wander and their normal routine kept exactly as it is — same feeding times, same walk, same spot on the couch. I'm also a certified Reiki practitioner, which in practice just means I'm patient and calm with anxious dogs. Nervous rescues, senior dogs, and pups who take a while to warm up are genuinely welcome here. I drive a vintage Vanagon that dogs seem to love, and I'm happy to handle vet runs or grooming drop-offs if that helps your week. Every new client starts with a meet & greet — your dog interviews me, and you decide with zero pressure I recently sold my business and am so excited to dedicate my life to helping pet owners and pets feel safe and cared for. So my schedule is pretty open accept when I'm traveling. I can be available 24/7 - 7 days a week. Your routine is the plan. At our meet & greet I write down feeding amounts and times, medications, walk routes, house rules, and the quirks only you know — then I follow it exactly. If something comes up that isn't on the list, I text you before I improvise. Safety habits I don't skip: the leash goes on before the door opens, every single time. I check gates and door latches on my way out. I don't let a dog off-leash unless you've told me it's okay and we're somewhere secure. On hot Boise afternoons I test the pavement with my hand before we walk, shift walks to early morning or evening and always carry water. I keep your vet's info and the nearest emergency vet saved before the first visit, along with a backup contact of yours. Keys stay on me, never labeled with your address, never left under a mat. Your home gets treated like a home, not a job site. No guests, lights and blinds as I found them, trash and mail handled, and I leave it the way you left it. You get a photo and a short note after every visit, so you always know exactly how your dog's day went.

“Lerin was very accommodating when I had last minute flights changed and communicative throughout Lady’s stay. I received pictures daily and could clearly see Lady’s was well taken care of. Will use Lerin in the future!”

“Allison is such an angel! She cared for my baby Max through his worst days of having cancer. Thank you for all the love and care you showed Max through this difficult time, we both appreciate you so much! ❤️🩹🙏🏼”
“Rachel was recommended by a friend! Sure glad he did as Rachel is a treasure! Tucker is getting older so was looking for somebody to give him just a little more care. He was well loved and got all the cuddles he usually gets at home. She was super flexible to our schedule and great communication throughout the week and even took time to send us pictures! She even shared a few funny stories about the interaction. We were beyond happy about this experience!”

“Bobbi and her family definitely loved on our Mochi the way she’s loved by us! They treated her like their own family and made sure she really was well taken-cared of. We were felt assured that we were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about Mochi. She only takes one dog at a time which is what we looked for so our Mochi had all the attention. And she definitely had! Lol. She sent us pictures and videos of Mochi while we’re gone that made our hearts full. We’ll definitely book her again next time!”

“Marly had a great time Tony, Trish & family! They were very welcoming, accommodating and provided a great environment for Marly to make new pup friends!”

About: Hi! I have grown up around animals my whole life but in my adult life I have had one cat and one dog. My cat adopted me around 1 year of age and my dog I got when she was a puppy. Unfortunately both of my animals have passed away. My cat about 3 years ago and sadly my dog passed away in April of this year, 2026. I feel a huge hole without animals in the house but am just not ready to get another one yet. I work part time, only 12 hours a week therefore I am home the majority of the time. I live on quarter acre so my backyard is a very good size for a dog to run around, it is fully fenced as well. My dog had diabetes so I am used to giving dogs shots and feel very comfortable doing so. Please choose me to take care of your pet and give them lots of love! You wont regret it! I am currently working part time, 12 hours a week so I am home the majority of the time. My kids go to school during the week as well so my house is nice and quiet for animals to nap, relax, or get plenty of attention from me while the kids are away. I live on quarter acre so ai have a big backyard that is fully fenced perfect for a dog to run around in. My neighborhood is large with multiple walking paths perfect for taking dogs on walks to change the scenery. For dogs that have tons of energy I also have multiple common areas in my neighborhood perfect for throwing the ball long distances. I have plenty of space in my house for a crate if your animal is needing a space of their own or put in their crate at night.
