“Our experience with Colby and David was excellent from start to finish. We had a not so good recent stay at a local boarding facility and were looking for something more comfortable for our dog. We loved getting updates and videos from Colby and David. Our dog came home happy and totally unphased by our time away.”
“Lindsay was amazing!!! Our 5 month old puppy stayed with her for over a week and it was the best experience. She worked with her on some basic training, got her to sleep in a crate and sent daily pictures and updates! We will definitely use her again in the future!!”

“Tasha is wonderful! She took such great care of our dogs, and we’ll definitely use her again. She has a warm, caring presence, and her home feels just the same — with a great yard for the pups to play. We felt totally at ease leaving them with her. She kept us updated with pictures and even took them for a walk (with our okay first). Highly recommend!”

“I was very comfortable from the start leaving Riley! This was my first time using Rover.com and it couldn’t have been easier. Thank you again for taking care of our pup! 😊”

“Melissa was so patient with Cooper. He was so scared and sad that we “left” him and gave Melissa a hard time the first day. She won him over the 2nd day and I was so relieved. We were thinking of coming home early, but she was so patient and kind Cooper was fine the rest of the time letting us enjoy Thanksgiving and our granddaughter’s first birthday party on Saturday. Thank you so much Melissa for taking good care of Cooper and Sandy too.”

“Christopher, thank you so much for taking care of Wyatt this last week and for all the daily pics and updates. I feel like he really loved his time with you and your pets. It was probably a much more social environment for him that has been a positive experience for him. Thank you!”

“Karen is the most amazing pet lover! She took fabulous care of Emmie! We felt very confident in having her take care of our dog. They both hit it off when we first met! Daily we received a picture or a video complete with details about how well it was going! We highly recommend Karen! She included a sweet picture magnet of our dog for our fridge at home!”

“Kayla and her family took excellent care of our Ellie. She updated us every day with photos and how Ellie was faring. Ellie was very content. We'll definitely use Kayla again in the future.”

“Nalleli was amazing! She took very good care of Zara while we were away on a trip to Paris. She had great communication and let us come meet her dog Jack the week prior to leaving, just to make sure Zara was comfortable. Nalleli also sent pictures and video of Zara to us while we were gone. I would highly recommend her and will be taking Zara back when we need someone to watch her.”

“Our dog had a great time staying at Michelle and Robert’s place. They were reasonably priced, she was treated well and we had great communication with a pic daily. I can tell she was treated well because of Millie’s calm demeanor when we picked her up. She was happy there. Recommend!”

“I am beyond grateful we found Vanessa and on such short notice over the Christmas holiday. Our two boys were so happy during their stay and lived their best lives running around the big yard and being loved on so much. She sent pictures and updates and was so flexible to have a meet and greet before hand. Hands down the best boarding experience we’ve ever had! Thank you, Vanessa from the bottom of my heart! I will be keeping her as our number 1 go to in the future!”

“Nicole was thoughtful and considerate, understanding the needs and requirements of our senior dog. She sent useful updates to help us know how our family member was adapting to new and unfamiliar surroundings. Would be confident in booking her services again should needs arise.”

“Our dogs had a great time. We had boarded them before doing rover and they came back covered in pee and very nervous. When we picked up the dogs from Rich they where very happy and excited. They really helped us out as one of the dogs doesn't do very well with other animals and they made it so that he could be outside for more than just walks.”

“Once again, another wonderful Rover week for Riley! We feel so confident that he's being well cared for when we go on vacation. Definite peace of mind. Thank you Aimee and Derek!”

“Gabriel is great with our husky, she is super sweet and understands the breed very well! We always get sweet updates about how our dog is doing, it eases our mind when traveling to know our beloved pup is receiving excellent care at "camp" 😊 we use her every time we travel!”

“Tina was absolutely wonderful! She took such great care of my cats while I was away and gave me complete peace of mind. She is communicative, and clearly cared about making sure they were happy. I really appreciated the updates and photos. I would gladly book Tina again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a caring, trustworthy pet sitter!”

About: I want to learn more about how to help animals, so I recently started volunteering at the local humane society again, after a long break when life got busy. While I love all animals, most of my experience was with dogs, giving them walks and assisting with socialization playgroups to help alleviate their kennel stress and help them get more likely to get adopted. In addition, I took behavioral classes for dogs at my time at the humane society. I also had dogs of my own, including one who was very reactive to his environment, which I also went through training for. I also had some experience in helping my dogs through illness during their lifetime. They were my babies, and I understand how precious pets are to their families. While I can't replace a pet's loved one when they aren't physically around, I want to be there for them during those uncertain times. I'm available at any time, as long as I don't have a prior commitment! Hanging out with animals is probably way better than what I was going to do anyway. While I am fairly new to petsitting in this capacity, I have petsit for friends' cats and dogs in the past. I enjoyed the process of gaining the trust of the animal by respecting their space, and giving them affection whenever they wanted to try coming up to me. I always appreciated getting as much information from the owners as possible, so I knew whether the animals had any allergies, or what bothered them, or if they needed any special kind of care. I loved texting the owners photos of what their pets were doing, as well as providing updates.

About: Experienced in caring for cats of different ages, personalities, and needs, as alifelong cat mom with a asthmatic cat, i know the importance of checkins an close attention to detail for your babys
“Melissa is one of the sweetest animal sitters we’ve met. She took care of our cat while we were away. We didn’t know how long we’d be gone due to a family passing. She was available to meet the same day I reached out to her and then we adjusted the schedule several times as our stay got longer and longer. She sent lots of pictures and updates and made being away just a little bit easier since we knew our cat was being taking care of. Melissa also went above and beyond with bringing our mail in and keeping us updated about various things going on in our house so we weren’t surprised by anything coming home after being gone so long. I definitely recommend Melissa and plan to book her again in the future.”
“Sunni was great! Yogi warmed up to her right away during the meet and greet and was excited to see her every visit. She went above and beyond her duty. She cleaned my floors if Yogi tracked cat litter out of the box, and cleaned the mat under his food dish. I would recommend her to everyone!”

About: I have enjoyed and cared for dogs all my life and spent many years participating in Agility training and trials with my Blue Heeler/GS Pointer. I have raised puppies and tended to them throughout their long lives. I am a sucker for a white-faced senior dog! I met my husband over 30 years ago when he was a veterinarian and I was a veterinary technician. If your pet needs medication I am happy administer it for you. I am retired and I have many free days and nights for pet sitting and dog walking. I am flexible and happy to accommodate your schedule. Your dog is welcome in our home and on our furniture, and will be treated as one of our own. I have solid fencing on 3 sides of my backyard, with a metal fence on one side. (4 feet high with 3 3/4 inches between the vertical rails.) I will supervise your dog in the yard or take them outside on a long lead, as needed. I appreciate clear instructions on how you would like your pet cared for, and I will follow them respectfully. Does your dog have a favorite toy? Are there specific training guides you would like reinforced? Do they prefer to play alone or with other dogs? Just let me know what they need and I will be happy to accommodate them whether at your home or mine.
“Kimberly was super communicative and responsive, she was also friendly and her mom was willing to jump in and help out with my medically complex kitty when needed for the first couple of visits while my kitties got comfy and familiar which was a huge win for us all I think! I’m so grateful to them both for being willing to help me out and watch my boys, I’ll absolutely be asking to book again :) Thank you Kimberly!”

“Samantha has sat for us twice now and even our shyest cat already loves her! She’s responsible, communicative, and always takes lots of pictures. She’s our go-to when we need a cat sitter!”

“Anusheh was terrific - provided so many pictures and details about my kitties I didn't feel as bad about leaving them. She made sure to leave extra food for them too because they were eating a bunch while I was gone and she noticed they might need more. Would def use again.”

About: I was always the one growing up that took on the caretaker role when it comes to animals. Making sure all animals are fed and have clean water and bowls. My favorite part of caring for pets is walks and playing with them. When my dog had babies I was there the entire time making sure mama was doing well, giving attention and making sure i could give support when needed. I grew up with multiple dogs at once and I understand it takes time and effort to care for them. I am available after 2pm monday through Fridays and on weekends I am free all day. I am looking for some companionship with cute dogs as I don't own a dog currently. I actually had an ankle injury in the beginning of this year and I am recovering well, just need extra cash to pay for some medical bills. I would love to spend my other free time spending it with your fur babies. I am new to rover app. Gaining your animals trust is very important to me. I will always be watching your animal when taken outside even if your yard is gated.
“Amazing job! Went above and beyond everything I expected. Our dog never eats while we are away and she had a totally normal feeding schedule the entire time so you know she was happy 🙂.”

“This was a great experience!! He really listened to the needs I expressed and I felt really good about leaving my dogs with him. So much so that I booked another week.”

“Even-keeled and easygoing, Emily was a good choice! She cared for my golden retriever for the day and my mind was at ease, knowing she’d be watched well, played with and fed by someone who knew what they were doing. Even when I had to make MULTIPLE last minute time changes in the schedule, Emily took it like a champ and without complaint! My golden seemed her normal dorky self after her stay!”

“Jessica is so positive, kind and friendly! Our two doggies came home happy and tired from the day visit with Jessica and her dog. Thank you for caring for our fur babies.”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 21 years, and I’ve yet to meet one I didn’t want to be friends with. From energetic puppies who think socks are toys to sweet senior dogs who prefer naps over zoomies, I love getting to know each pet’s unique personality. I provide reliable, loving care that includes walks, feeding, playtime, cleanup, cuddles (if approved by your pup, of course!), and basic medications when needed. I know leaving your furry family member behind can be stressful, so I’ll treat them like one of my own and keep you updated so you can relax knowing they’re in great hands. I’m home most of the day, so your pet will get plenty of attention, playtime, potty breaks, and cuddles—not just a quick check-in! I do run the occasional errand, but your pet’s comfort, safety, and routine always come first. I’ll make sure they get lots of love, exercise, and updates for you, because I know you’re probably missing them as much as they’re missing you. 🐾 Your pup can expect a fenced yard, a toy box that’s always open for business, plenty of belly rubs, fresh food and water, and two energetic dogs who are usually happy to welcome a new playmate. Safety comes first, fun is a close second, and your furry family member will be treated like one of my own.
About: We have two high energy dogs that require regular exercise so I understand how hard it is to find a sitter who can meet that need. While your best friend is with us they can expect to get an off leash, 3-5 mile adventure every other day. I am trained and comfortable with an e collar but if your dog does not have good recall, no worries, I always carry a long line. Our home is best suited for medium to large dogs. I am a stay at home mom with 2 large dogs of my own. My dogs need regular off leash walks so you can expect your dog to get out plenty while with us. I have a large, fenced in yard. If I have to leave the house without the dogs I have spare kennels and a furbo dog camera to keep an eye on everyone.
About: I’ve owned and cared for animals my entire life — from dogs and cats to smaller pets like birds. Animals have always been a huge part of my world, and I can’t imagine life without them. I enjoy training my own dog and use positive reinforcement to help build trust and good habits. I’m comfortable working with pets of all ages, sizes, and personalities — from energetic puppies to calm seniors — and I always tailor care to meet their individual needs. I have a large, fully fenced backyard that’s perfect for safe outdoor play, exercise, and potty breaks. I’m also experienced with administering medication (oral, topical, or drops) and following special routines, feeding schedules, or dietary needs. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities. I treat every animal like family and make sure they get plenty of love, attention, and care — just like they would at home. I’m reliable, communicative, and always happy to send photo or video updates so you can feel at ease while you’re away. Hi! I’m Michelle — a lifelong animal lover who works from home, so I’m with my dog (and yours!) all day. I love spending time outdoors hiking, paddleboarding, and going on walks. I also attend dog training classes a few times a week, which helps me stay in tune with canine behavior and care. Your pets will get plenty of attention, love, and company while you’re away! Your pet’s safety and comfort are my highest priorities. I work from home full-time, so pets in my care are never left alone for long periods. My dog stays in my office with me during the day, and your dog is welcome to join us — or enjoy their own quiet space if they prefer. I take pride in being reliable, attentive, and respectful of every pet owner’s home and routine. I follow all care instructions closely to ensure consistency, safety, and peace of mind. My reputation and your trust mean a great deal to me, and I’m committed to providing the same level of care I would want for my own dog.
About: I have 20+ years of experience caring for dogs plus cats, goats, birds and small animals. I previously owned Bon Jour Pet Sitters and managed a Veterinary Hospital for 7 years. I am comfortable administering medication and loving on special needs pets. I am home all day if you are boarding your dog with me, I won’t take any jobs outside of my house so I can give your babies all my attention. I have a large fenced yard with lots of room to play. I also have 2 pug pups that LOVE having new dog friends! My dogs can have as little or as much interaction with your dog(s) as you would like. Your dogs are also welcome to hangout on the couch and watch tv if that’s more their speed.
“Very easy to work with and she did everything to make our little one comfortable being at the sitters the first time. Truly wish she was in our area (we were traveling for this event) because we would absolutely use her again.”

“First time using Beth to dog sit and she is such a sweet lady and loves dogs! Extremely responsive and flexible. She’s so knowledgeable and attentive. And for our 1.5 year old German wire haired pointer - so patient! Highly recommend her!”

About: *I often volunteer and have times I can't block out or show on my calendar. We can discuss my schedule further to see if I could be a good fit. I love pet sitting, house sitting, and dog walking when I'm not focusing on school. I also volunteer at the local zoo in my spare time to help spread awareness of their conservation efforts through education by taking out ambassador animals, taking out biofacts, running animal encounters, working directly with keepers, and preparing animal diets. I have 3 pets of my own; 1 dog & 2 birds. I have my 10 year old Husky and Shar Pei mix named Porsha, a Blue Crowned Conure named Zuri, and a Yellow-collared Lovebird named Juno. All 3 are trick trained and working toward their titles through Do More With Your Dog. They are cared for while I'm gone, so I can focus my attention on the pets I'm caring for in the moment. I am a college student working toward my degree online, so I'll have plenty of time to spend with pets as needed. I love doing several walks or drop ins per day, but I can also accommodate for those special pups or kitties who might need a little more time and care. I care for pets in my client's homes by making sure I know any medical history the pets may have, what regular vet and emergency vet they'd prefer if something were to happen, how they feed and water their pets, any medication I should administer, any exercise or enrichment I should provide, and space for pets I'm sure who are missing their owners.

“Ann has been an absolute lifesaver for us! She is incredibly kind, super responsive, and always reliable—everything you could hope for in a dog walker. She’s also been very flexible with scheduling, which has made a huge difference for us. Most importantly, my dog Betty absolutely loves her. Betty gets so excited on the days Ann comes to walk her, and it gives me so much peace of mind knowing she’s in such caring and capable hands. Ann walks her three times a week, and I’ve noticed such a positive impact on Betty’s happiness and routine. I can’t recommend Ann enough!”

“Allison and her husband were great sitters for our cat and dog!! We received regular photos throughout the week, our pup had outdoor access and someone there (i believe) 24/7, dog was able to remain well disciplined and stay with the family as if she was their own - our cat stayed as well and he did well, we received him back in one piece so I couldn't ask for too much more on that front.... Communication was great, availability super awesome, will board with Allison again, thanks!”
