“Emily was wonderful! She provided photos, updates, and was very flexible with pickup/drop off times. It’s clear Emily loves animals and Beanie seemed to feel comfortable with her right away. Will definitely be reaching out in the future!”

“My dog had such a good time. I was so relieved to have found Ashley because I hate leaving him. She sent a ton of pictures and updates while I was away.”

“Great first experience with Lori. Sent lots of photos of my 2 dogs. Above average communication. Got my dogs plenty of exercise. I will be booking Lori next time I go out of town. Thanks again Lori!”

“Amanda was a perfect sitter for my hunting dog Wrigley. Given all the exercise she needed, Wrigley was allowed to socialize/play with Amanda’s two golden retrievers, was fed well, and was thoughtfully protected from the summer heat. This included early morning walks before the heat of the day. Amanda provided photos, videos and feedback to keep me apprised of Wrigley’s overall health, allowing me to more fully enjoy my time away. Wrigley quickly became part of Amanda’s family, and I am confident Wrigley received the best care possible. I highly recommend Amanda for your dog sitting needs.”

“Jazzi took such good care of Finn while I was out of town! She was able to accommodate a very last minute booking and exceeded all my hopes for a dog sitter. She updated me with pictures and I could tell he was loving his time with her and the other pups!”

“Elizabeth and Alexander are a perfect family to care for your dog. This is a very nice family. They care about people. They care about animals. They care about themselves. They bring forth the highest of integrity and care. The communication is excellent and straightforward. I left my dog for the first time for a full day of care with Elizabeth And her children and my dog was so happy he didn’t want to leave! I’m happy to meet this family and hope that there is a long-standing relationship between us. Thank you for your kindness and care.”

“Deana took the best care of Keyser while my husband and I were away for a long weekend! She took him on multiple walks and hikes and sent tons of great pictures and videos. He got along great with her dog Koda and I think they are BFFs now! We were able to have a stress free trip without any worries about Keyser and will 100% book with her again.”

“Bobbi and her family definitely loved on our Mochi the way she’s loved by us! They treated her like their own family and made sure she really was well taken-cared of. We were felt assured that we were able to enjoy our vacation without worrying about Mochi. She only takes one dog at a time which is what we looked for so our Mochi had all the attention. And she definitely had! Lol. She sent us pictures and videos of Mochi while we’re gone that made our hearts full. We’ll definitely book her again next time!”

“In our greet and meet interview our dog felt comfortable right away with the other dogs. We felt a relief as this is the first time we leave our dog with someone else that is not family or friend. We could see that is a caring family and he would be treated as part of it. During his stay, we got pictures showing us how great he was doing. That was something our family really liked.”

“Eric was a great sitter for my dog! He was very prompt in communication and flexible when I needed a sitter last minute. Made sure I got a picture of my dog even though I was only gone one night. Great open space in the living area and yard for any dog. Highly recommend”

“Jess is absolutely fantastic. This was our first time using Rover and Jess set the bar high. She is kind, accommodating, and courteous. She gave daily updates on our little buddy and I know that he was extremely pampered and well taken care of. Thanks so much again for everything Jess, and for getting us in last minute. You are the best!”

“My dog loved staying with Maddy and her family! She accepted a somewhat last minute request and was so flexible and was great at communicating! I’ll definitely reach out to her first next time I need someone to watch my dog!”

“Shannon was fantastic with our pug Steve! Her communication was excellent and incredibly quick, she kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay. She gave us peace of mind that Steve was in caring hands. Would recommend Shannon to any other dog parents.”

“Kelsey was fantastic with our two pups -- one who can be an escape artist and the other who is just a goofball. Her place has a great yard for dogs, she was communicative throughout the stay.”

“We never worry about Mimi when she is with Benita and family. Mimi is never stressed about going and is always happy and healthy when we pick her up. Thank you, Benita!”

“Our dog had a wonderful time here and no doubt yours will too. They will treat your pup like their own and what more could you want! Sent lots of pictures and updates so we knew our pup was in good hands the whole week. Thank you Debbie and Ryan!”

“Nikki and Britney were absolutely amazing. From the amazing photos to the wonderful cleanup they did for us prior to our returning home, we are happy to know we have a trustworthy couple to look after our fur babies when we are away. 10/10 would recommend! :)”

About: I’ve had many pups in my life but right now I do not have any pups living in my home. I’ve been enjoying spending time with all my rover friends! My home has a fenced backyard and a common area dog run. I work from home so I will be around to play, give treats and go on walks all day! Dogs are allowed on the furniture and beds here. Working from home means I will be hanging with the pups almost all day every day except for errands. Walks every couple hours and lots of snuggles on the couch! There are no children in the home. I have a fenced yard for running and playing. I have a large kennel/crate inside the house in case your pup needs it and have lots of toys and dog beds for lounging. Stop by for a meet and greet if you would like before booking! I typically only leave the house for an hour or so a day to use the gym down the road. The pups are free to roam my home as if it was their own while I am out. Doors stay locked and no one enters unless the pets are secured so no one darts out the door! Food stays off countertops so there are no human snacks available to be snuck. Poop is scooped after every go!
“Brooke did a wonderful job watching our kitty. He came home very happy. We received pictures the entire week, so we felt very assured that he was in good hands. I will definitely go back to Brooke again to watch our boy!”

“Lexi is a very nice young woman. We reached out to her the day before we left after having a cancellation from another cat sitter. She could not have been more accommodating, staying at our house at the last minute, and we appreciate the care she provided to our baby, Cleo.”

“This was my first time with Taylor and it was a great experience. She is very responsive and timely. My pet had very specific needs and she was able to meet all his needs and even came to meet Otis before the scheduled visits. She left detailed notes of how the visits went and left pictures of my pet. I would definitely recommend Taylor!”

“Bianca is great. Very conscientious, mature, thoughtful, and communicative. Our cat Zeke liked her immediately, and they clearly bonded while we were away. She kept in touch, and left the house nicely cared for. Will definitely use her again if the occasion arises!”

“Never felt more comfortable leaving my dog with anyone. Stephanie and her pack provided the perfect combination of exercise, boundaries and love to my dog. Titus comes home tired, happy and with better manners than when he left. Stephanie also checks in and send plenty of pics and updates which I love. She’s flexible and super understanding of my crazy schedule. Huge relief to know we can count on Stephanie. I would highly recommend to anyone with a large dog.”

“Although we only required a few hours of dog sitting, I was impressed by Elise’s caring and engaged personality. Will definitely keep her in mind when back in Boise and if sitting is necessary.”

About: I've been around animals my whole life and have been fostering with the humane society for many years. I currently have an golden of my own and we love to explore new areas in the foothills, around the greenbelt, or even the beautiful sights up bogus. I usually pet sit for family friends, but would love to meet some new floofs! I'm currently working part time, and have a pretty open schedule for this summer! Every week is different, but I'm available almost every weekday and most weekends. My backyard is secure and big dog approved with plenty of room to run around. There is a toy basket inside, but somehow the whole yard gets transformed into a dog toy wonderland. As for any homes that I may visit, I will ensure everything is how I found it and will give your pet all the attention they need without overstepping their boundaries.

As a Reiki Master, I also offer optional daily Reiki sessions for dogs who benefit from extra emotional support, grounding, or relaxation. I’m skilled in senior care, reading dog body language, supporting anxious or sensitive pups, and creating a peaceful, nurturing environment where every dog feels truly at home. About: Hi, I’m Megan! 🐾 For the past 7+ years I have devoted my life to caring for animals! Currently working as a shelter clinic manager, I have plenty of experience with both medical and behavioral sides of animal care. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are my top priorities while they’re in my care. I also have extra help at home! My sister lacy, who is a stay-at-home pet lover with pet-sitting experience, helps provide additional attention, supervision, and care throughout the day. This means your pet gets plenty of companionship, potty breaks, playtime, and love—even when life gets busy. Whether your pet loves to play, cuddle, go on walks, or just relax, I’ll make sure they feel safe, loved, and right at home. I’m comfortable caring for pets with special needs, medications (including oral meds and all injection route's if needed), seniors, and those who may need a little extra TLC. I know how stressful it can feel leaving your pet behind, so I will provide as much communication as possible so you can relax knowing they’re in good hands. I treat every pet like family and strive to make their stay feel like a fun, safe “vacation” while you’re away. Pricing information: For Boise specifically, most sitters seem to fall into these ranges: * Budget/new sitter: $25–$35/night * Average experienced sitter: $40–$55/night * Very experienced/medical care or constant supervision: $60–$90+/night Since you work in vet med and have shelter/medical experience, if you were pet sitting at your house, you could likely charge on the higher end—especially if you’re comfortable with meds, seniors, post-op care, injections, etc. A vet-tech level sitter in Boise could reasonably start around $50–$75/night per dog. Availability & Schedule 🐾 I work Sunday–Wednesday, but your pet will still receive plenty of love, attention, and care! I have Thursday, Friday, and Saturday fully off, allowing for lots of one-on-one time, walks, playtime, and cuddles. To make sure pets always have companionship and supervision, my sister is home 100% of the time as a stay-at-home animal lover with pet-sitting experience. Between the two of us, your pet will have consistent care, attention, potty breaks, and lots of love throughout the day. Our Home Environment 🐾 We strive to provide a fun, loving, and safe home-away-from-home experience for every pet in our care! Our home has a large, fully fenced backyard with plenty of space to run, sniff, explore, and play safely. Whether your pup enjoys playing, cuddling, or relaxing, we make sure they feel comfortable and included. There are plenty of cozy dog beds, toys, treats, and attention to go around! We treat every pet like family and do our best to keep their routine as comfortable and stress-free as possible while you’re away. Safety, supervision, love, and lots of tail wags are always our priority.

“Shannon was fantastic with our pug Steve! Her communication was excellent and incredibly quick, she kept us updated with photos and messages throughout the stay. She gave us peace of mind that Steve was in caring hands. Would recommend Shannon to any other dog parents.”

“Dolly loves visiting with Katie, Ben, and their kids. She gets so much love and attention from this wonderful family. We always know Dolly will be well cared for with them.”

“My Golden Retriever Murphy had a great vacation staying with Alisa and her family. Alisa is very easy to work with, communicates well, and she leaves daily updates. I felt that Murphy was in good hands while I was gone for a week. Thank you, Alisa.”

“Meghan was absolutely wonderful! It was our first time using Rover and she put every worry at ease. She sent photos and updates and was extremely flexible and quick to respond. We’ll definitely be coming to her for future dog sitting needs!”

About: I grew up with animals my entire life (dogs, cats, horses), and I finally got my own dog this year, a loving and friendly golden retriever. I still love to petsit for others. I have done pet sitting through rover for 6+ years and I have experience with horses through my childhood. I cleaned a horse barn every weekend during highschool and learned how to handle them. I am a Geologist with the Forest Service in Idaho City, where I also live. I work full time from 8-4:30pm in the office. The summer months I have very little capacity for dogsitting because of field work and I am involved with working wildfires. With pets in my home I am happy to give them free reign of the place! Please let me know if your dog has a habit of chewing items or counter surfing. When staying at a client's home, I am attentive to the pets, can provide walks and play-time, and I make sure to leave the house cleaner than I find it. Because I have grown up with pets and played an active part in taking care of them, I am in-tune to animals behavior.
