She had injured her back leg about a month before her stay, and they were incredibly thoughtful in managing her needs. They made sure she got all her medications and adjusted her walks based on what she could handle. I’m pretty sure Callie felt like she was at a spa—between the gentle attention, extra brushing, and love from their three wonderful kids, she was clearly in great hands. I accidentally mixed up the pickup date by a day, but Lindsey and Leland were incredibly accommodating and kept Callie that extra day without hesitation. I was so relieved, knowing she wouldn’t have to be shuffled to a different home just for one night. Throughout her stay, they regularly updated us with photos—Callie lounging in the grass, out on a walk, or happily curled up in someone’s lap. The peace of mind they gave us was priceless. About: I’ve had 2 shihtzus since they were 8 weeks old. Have lost both within the last 2 years at ages 15 and 17. Me and hubby enjoyed them and we miss them terribly. I love strolls around the block and playtime. Serious lap time and undivided attention is awaiting your special fur baby, as I am retired and at home full time. Each year I go to Utah to dog sit for my middle son for 2 weeks while they vacation. They’ve had a Rottweiler, Berniedoodle and Yorkies. The big guys loved TAKING ME on daily walks around their local park. I always took my 2 shihtzus swimming every time we went boating. Perfect day in my opinion!!! I am retired and available most of the time. Short trips to the grocery store or other errands are basically the only time I leave. I have a fenced yard and plenty of room inside and outside. Special diets or medications are not a problem. I liked to wash my dogs faces after mealtimes. They can sleep in my bed, or not. Your preference.
About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

I've taken care of all types of dogs including german shepherds and high energy breeds, and have fostered several pups destined for service. I have two cats of my own. I even feed and muck stalls for horses or other barn animals. Pls inquire re those rates. I am retired and take care of my hobby farm near Liberty Lake. I am very experienced with pets and they get a lot of 1:1 attention and companionship from me in the comfort of their own home or if in mine, in a quiet and peaceful country environment. I am self-employed so my schedule can be as flexible as needed to give your pet the time and attention needed. Morning, midday, and nights I can be available. I have experience with dogs, cats, fish, rodents, reptiles, horses, cows, wildlife, ducks, chickens, rabbits...feed, groom, cleanup, minor medical, walk, play, snuggle... I am currently available most any time for pet care---hours and days are open Sunday through Saturday. I just request some notice as I do have pets of my own and farm animals to care for or get coverage for if needed. Also, please be considerate as to the time of day you message me to request services. “I had hired a dog walker for my dad’s dog, Luna, when he became too weak to walk her himself; I am so glad I found Ben to do the job. He is punctual, communicative, caring, and was a wonderful walker for Luna. When my dad’s health continued to deteriorate, Ben still checked in to see if there is anything he can do; even going so far as to come to the house for a scheduled visit when I forgot to cancel it. He got the job done for sure, but Ben continued to care and express his concern for Luna. About: Animals and animal care has always been my passion, I’m currently working towards getting my bachelors degree in animal science and zoology! I’ve taken care of all kinds of animals and I’ve done a lot of rescue and rehoming! I love animals, from cats to fish, lizards and birds. I’m crazy about all of them. I’ve cared for babies and elderly of a lot of different species and I pride myself in always doing my best in taking care of all their needs. Ive got quite a few of my own babies at the moment but they’re all very friendly and adjust easily to new animals. I don’t currently work because I’m working towards getting my bachelors degree in animal science/zoology, so I’m home 24/7 to care for my own pets and school, I have two crate trained dogs, five cats, two frogs, two birds, fish, and a hamster, so I’m basically always cleaning and playing or training one or the other! While I live in an apartment, we have multiple fenced dog parks and ample walking area away from the roads for walkies with the dogs, my apartment is pretty spacious especially in the living room and animals are allowed around the whole apartment. If I were to watch your babies at your residence I would stick strictly to the rules you set for me and never overstep your boundaries or rules.

About: I’ve been hired to groom a good handful of dogs and a cat! I’ve lived with black Labs mostly but dogs of all sizes my whole life including senior-blind/diabetic-neglected-and puppies and love teaching basic tricks and catering to loves and dislikes to keep animals as comfortable and safe with me as possible! About: I love animals, big and small but I know sometimes we can’t take them everyone we go so it’s a plus to have someone who will take care of them like their own. Honesty, respect, communication is what I’m all about. I will have an open schedule from June 20th-September 30th. Looking for short term or long term jobs! Won’t be working as I will be studying for boards exams, and looking to make some extra money! My dog currently lives with my parents as I’m a full time student. I’ll go pick him up on weekends, take him to the dog park, on a hike or just to hang out at my place. Depending on your needs for your dog, I’m game for it all!

I was so relieved, knowing she wouldn’t have to be shuffled to a different home just for one night. Throughout her stay, they regularly updated us with photos—Callie lounging in the grass, out on a walk, or happily curled up in someone’s lap. The peace of mind they gave us was priceless. Everyone knows me as the friend who is obsessed with dogs, and I’m so excited to hang out with more pups! 😊 I have 2 labs of my own who absolutely love having furry friends around! They’re playful and social, but they’re also great at matching the energy and personality of other dogs—whether your pup wants to run and play or prefers to relax. I work from home, so your dog will have plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day rather than being left alone for long periods. I have experience caring for senior dogs, puppies, high energy dogs, dogs with separation anxiety, etc. I understand that every dog has their own needs, routine, and personality. I’m happy to provide walks, playtime, drop-in visits, and lots of love and attention while you’re away. Because I have dogs of my own, your pup must be comfortable and friendly around other dogs for boarding or day care. I am happy to provide drop in visits and/or walks for those “only child” type dogs 😉 feel free to message me anytime! Working from home, the dogs will never be left alone for long periods of time. I usually go for walks in the morning and at lunch and would be happy to take your pup! I have a larger 6 ft fenced yard and a doggy door if your pup is trained, they can come and go as they please! We provide plenty of toys and playtime, but I can also give them a good place to rest in a crate or even a dog bed next to me in my office 😊
