About: I have years of experience with horses, dogs, and cats. I have always had pets growing up, from small mutts to large high drive German Shepherds (currently have them!). I have knowledge of most breeds and their traits, which I believe helps you understand the pet itself. I have worked as an equine veterinary technician before for 2 years, which has exposed me to many different types of pets, big and small! I currently am self employed and run my own business. I have watched dogs for my family and friends and I love being with animals! I am currently not working or in school and have lots of time to hangout at home with the pets! About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

“During my visit to Coeur 'd Alene, we had some activities planned that were not suitable for dogs. I turned to Rover after reading some troubling reviews on the local pet resorts. And I could not be happier that I went this route! After reading several profiles and reviews, I found Carolyn and she was quick to respond to my last minute request, literally the night before we needed a sitter. After sharing a little information back and forth, she agreed to take our girl Shelby for the day. I can't express enough how very blessed and fortunate I was to have found Carolyn. Upon meeting her, and dropping off Shelby the next morning, I felt an instant connection, and she was gracious in sending me updates and pics throughout the day to provide assurance that Shelby was doing fine! We continued to use Carolyn's services for several more days, and each morning when we arrived, Shelby was excited to see her, and to go play with the other dogs in her care. Carolyn provided a good balance of outdoor play and indoor rest to ensure that the dogs didn't get too overheated. She was incredibly flexible and accommodating with drop off and pickup times as well. I will close with saying that Carolyn is an absolute sweetheart, and that I gained a new friend in Coeur 'd Alene! I look forward to using her services when visiting the area again. I just request some notice as I do have pets of my own and farm animals to care for or get coverage for if needed. About: 20+ years of experience with dogs from highly trained hunting dogs to just you’re casual inside dog. I also love to go on runs and would love to have a companion to bring with me. I am a flight instructor but my hours vary greatly but have lots of time in between my daily schedule to have time for your animals. I will make sure to keep your dogs in their designated area but if able to go on walks and runs I will be with them the entire time to keep them safe under my supervision. Every time after staying with them our dog loves to sing that is his favorite activity after having a great time. Before meeting Travis, we used to be reluctant to board Artie for longer than one day. Recently, we let ourselves to go on a 10-day remote trip without concerns. As always, it was a great pleasure to see Artie’s smiling face on the beautiful pictures sent by Travis and after coming back to find our dog in a good mood and well taken care of.”

“This was our first time boarding our dog, Lily, so we were a little nervous, but Crystal made the whole experience so easy. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and we really appreciated her flexibility with our pickup and drop off times. She kept us updated with pictures throughout Lily’s stay, which gave us a lot of peace of mind. It was obvious Lily was having a great time, she got lots of walks, plenty of attention, and came home happy and tired. “Wendy and Jacob were wonderful to work with! We had to leave our dog, Maple, with them for a week, shortly after a long move to the area. Before and upon returning they kept us updated with how Maple was handling the transition with texts and photos. Our dog loved her stay with them and was happy, healthy and her anxiety seemed way less then when we left her! We will definitely use Wendy and Jacob again for future stays!”

“We dropped off Ziggy for the weekend after a visit to the vet where we left with four medications, a cone and a bloody paw. Philip didn't flinch. (He was two minutes from where I was visiting my mom, so we could have been there if anything had come up.) We didn't get a lot of updates, but we came back to a dog who seemed happy, and better yet, hadn't been chewing on his paw. Highly recommend.”

“Danielle is fantastic! Her communication and willingness to do a meet and greet ahead of time (even though our dog's stay was only one night) meant the world to me. She sent several photos, which I really appreciated. I knew he was in good hands. Danielle has lots of experience with dogs, and did not flinch when she knew our's was a German Shorthaired Pointer. She had previous experience with the breed and that says a lot. Don't hesitate to book with her and her family. Your furry family member will be treated like one of her own.”
