I left my two dogs with her, a senior dog and an almost 1 year old puppy and I had no doubts that they would be taken care of when I dropped them off. I got pictures and videos frequently but that’s not what set her apart. My senior dog required a little more patience and maintenance and she took such good care of him. My puppy had the worst timing when she got her first cycle two days after we left. I offered to send supplies and profusely apologized but Mikey told me not to worry and instead told me to enjoy my vacation. My two dogs were probably a little more work then I thought but she never made me feel bad about it. I would recommend 100 %.”

About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. My own have a history of bolting/running away, so these things have become 2nd nature for me.

About: Hello! We are looking to help people out in our free time with pet care. Please note we can only accept small dogs who are good with cats for day care/boarding at this time. Please let us know a few times you are available for a meet and greet before hand to ensure it is a good fit! We have two cats and one dog; and between the two of us have many years of experience with cats, puppies and senior dogs. About: Hi! I’m Kari, an animal lover with a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I currently have a 5-month-old chocolate Labrador named Greta and two horses, and I’ve grown up caring for dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, fish, rats, cows, and more. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior pets needing extra patience and medication. I’m experienced with large breeds, high-energy dogs, shy or timid pets, and reactive dogs that need a calm, confident handler. I’m also comfortable administering medications and following detailed feeding schedules, medication routines, training plans, and any other instructions that help keep your pet happy and comfortable. Before moving to North Idaho, I spent 13 years in law enforcement. That career taught me responsibility, attention to detail, clear communication, and how to stay calm under pressure—qualities I now bring to every pet I care for. I moved here for a slower pace of life, and caring for animals has been the perfect fit. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! My schedule is open and flexible to care for your furry family member! I am open to short notice bookings and update my calendar for availability regularly. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. Whether we’re going on walks, playing fetch, sticking to a routine, or simply providing companionship while you’re away, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own. About: My father taught me about life by giving me pets since I was able to walk. Animals are a gift and should be treated like they are family. I work full time, but I still have plenty of time to take care of your pets. Having a small farm myself, my kids, who are older, pitch in to give animals all the care and love they need! I have a fenced in property and enclosed kennels for exercise. I also enjoy taking them on walks and playing ball with them outside. Any specific requests will try to be honored…

“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Mikey. I left my two dogs with her, a senior dog and an almost 1 year old puppy and I had no doubts that they would be taken care of when I dropped them off. I got pictures and videos frequently but that’s not what set her apart. My senior dog required a little more patience and maintenance and she took such good care of him. My puppy had the worst timing when she got her first cycle two days after we left. I offered to send supplies and profusely apologized but Mikey told me not to worry and instead told me to enjoy my vacation. My two dogs were probably a little more work then I thought but she never made me feel bad about it. I would recommend 100 %.”
