“Wendy and her husband were so nice during the meet and great and tour of their vast property. The property had a great country feel and lots of space for our dog to play with supervision. She explained how the dog kennels worked, which were a great size with open air and heated indoor area. Wendy answered all of our questions and was a great communicator before, during and after. Our Golden Retriever gravitated to her from day one. She was boarded from drop off on 11/22 to pickup on 11/29. Absolutely loved the videos and photos she sent during that time showing our girl happy and playing her heart out. Upon arriving back at home our golden had a nice long nap and was back to her normal routine upon waking up, which says a lot. We felt the boarding fees were appropriate and are grateful to have found Wendy. We would highly recommend her and will continue using her services.”

About: I work remotely and love taking walks throughout the day to stop looking at screens. I go for frequent runs, walks and hikes and love taking a dog with me, just let me know if you would like your pup to get extra exercise! I live in downtown CDA area with a large fenced yard and a great neighborhood for walks! I only take in one dog at a time. I had both dogs and cats growing up and I'm a proud Aunty of all my friends dogs when they are out of town. I always look forward to it! If you have a strong high energy dog, don't sweat it. I had a retriever/chow mix for 14 years and I'm stronger than I look. :) Currently I work in real estate so I make my own hours and have plenty of time to walk your pup and give them extra attention I have a large fenced yard, a good size home for them to roam around, and a great neighborhood for long walks. <3 danyelle .

She sent me pictures of my cats every day to make sure I was in the loop, she watered my plants for me during the heat wave, and she left my home so pristine it was like I had cleaned before I left. She even washed the sheets and made the bed for me so I wouldn’t have to do that when I got home. About: Experienced in caring for dogs of all sizes for over 15 years. I've also fostered dogs in my home, and been privileged to be Mom to an Old English Sheepdog, Newfie, and now a Malamute named London. I am currently studying remotely for my Master's in nutritional health, so I'm at home all day. I hike with my pup twice a day, come rain or shine. I have a fully fenced (6ft) yard that is fully secure. We live on a quiet street and are just a few minutes' walk from a fenced dog park and a beautiful and quiet trail system.
About: For the past 15 years we’ve had 2-3 dogs and truly believe our dogs are a part of our family. Currently we have a 2 year old Aussiedoodle and we have two kids who love to play with dogs but also understand when a dog needs his or her space. We do allow dogs on the couch and have plenty of room for a dog bed if provided. I’ve had pets all my life and understand how important it is to have someone watching them who will treat them love and respect. I’m currently a stay at home mom and my husband works from home. While we have daily chores and errands we run everything is adjustable to fit your dogs needs. I’m rarely gone more then 2 hours at a time and there will usually always be someone home in my absence. Dogs are welcome to come in and out of our home via a doggie door and have full access to our large backyard. We recently moved and the yard is even bigger and better than before! If you require walks or even trips to the dog park we can definitely accommodate that. We do allow dogs on the couch and we have gates set up to keep dogs on our main level giving us the ability to keep a close watch on them. Note: For puppies under 1 or dogs with chewing tendencies or destructive separation anxiety we may require a crate. We do have one extra available and can definitely discuss further at the meet and greet. I’m currently a stay at home Mom so my schedule is flexible. I’m able to be home as much as needed and rarely leave for extended periods of time. My husband works from home so there will most likely always be someone around. In addition to our one dog we can board up to three additional dogs at one time. I will do my best to keep you updated and informed if there will be any additional dogs in the house at the time of your pets visit but I do quite often receive last minute request. Drop off/pick up times between 7:00 AM - 10:30 PM, any request outside these times may require an additional night to be booked. We recently moved into our new home which is larger then the old one with TONS of space for the dogs, a covered patio to relax under and a fully fenced in yard. We plan to install a doggie door as soon as possible so dogs can have free access in and out of the house. While rare to have more the. 3 additional dogs in the house we will occasionally take up to 5 additional dogs at one time. While we do our absolute best to monitor the dogs 24/7 they are dogs and can be unpredictable, we do our best to maintain a safe environment for all dogs and will inform you of any issues that arise.

“We had never left Finn with anyone before and were nervous about doing so. However, my husband’s dad passed away and we needed to have someone care for Finn during the funeral. I found Kelly and Tyler and thought they sounded like a good fit with their dog experience, fenced acre, four children and their seemingly sweet pup daisy. Finn loves other dogs and people especially kids. We booked four hours the day before the funeral so we could make sure it would work. Tyler (TJ) met us and just couldn’t have made us feel more that Finn was in good hands. Their pup Daisy indeed is a little sweetie and Finn loved her. They were watching another Lab the same day and TJ had kept him inside to introduce Finn to Daisy first. He brought Doc out and he and Finn were instant friends. I don’t think Finn was ever aware that we left or were gone. We felt so comfortable leaving him. Kelly sent us a video update and Finn looked like he was having the time of his life. We picked up Finn with Kelly there to greet us and she just couldn’t be any nicer or sweet. We felt like we have struck gold with these two. The next day drop off was easy peasy as Finn was excited at just the mention of Daisy’s name (I think it’s puppy love). We were able to concentrate on the memorial service and not worry a bit about Finn. Kelly and Tyler were truly a God send! We are sure of that! We highly recommend them and Finn will be back for sure. Thank you so much Kelly and TJ for your kindness and for taking such great care of Finn!!”

“First time using app based on local recommendation. Traveling with an extended stay. Had a meet and greet with Jackie before doggie day care to settle my nerves. Warm and friendly and bonded with Ranger immediately. Met her at house next day for drop off and she was very attentive asking questions about allergies and concerns. Felt very comfortable and at ease with leaving Ranger there for a “staycation”. He settled in quickly and Jackie kept me updated with text and pics and how he was doing throughout the day. About: I discovered my love for animals when my mom rescued a Shiba Inu shortly after my dad died. Since then, I've made every effort to learn as much as I can about cats and dogs, including going to professional grooming school and I'm currently working on becoming a certified dog trainer. Most of my experience with cats has come from my sister and her roommate, but I love cats just as much as I love dogs I do have another part time job, but scheduling is flexible so I'll have plenty of time in the day to check on your buddy! I'm very conscious of their safety and always use a leash, always make sure fenced areas are secure, and that there's no toxic plants around them. About: I’ve had 2 shihtzus since they were 8 weeks old. Have lost both within the last 2 years at ages 15 and 17. Me and hubby enjoyed them and we miss them terribly. I love strolls around the block and playtime. Serious lap time and undivided attention is awaiting your special fur baby, as I am retired and at home full time. Each year I go to Utah to dog sit for my middle son for 2 weeks while they vacation. They’ve had a Rottweiler, Berniedoodle and Yorkies. The big guys loved TAKING ME on daily walks around their local park. I always took my 2 shihtzus swimming every time we went boating. Perfect day in my opinion!!! I am retired and available most of the time. Short trips to the grocery store or other errands are basically the only time I leave. I have a fenced yard and plenty of room inside and outside. Special diets or medications are not a problem. I liked to wash my dogs faces after mealtimes. They can sleep in my bed, or not. Your preference.

About: Hi! I’m Kari, an animal lover with a lifetime of hands-on experience caring for pets of all kinds. I currently have a 5-month-old chocolate Labrador named Greta and two horses, and I’ve grown up caring for dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, fish, rats, cows, and more. Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I’m comfortable caring for pets of all ages and personalities—from energetic puppies to senior pets needing extra patience and medication. I’m experienced with large breeds, high-energy dogs, shy or timid pets, and reactive dogs that need a calm, confident handler. I’m also comfortable administering medications and following detailed feeding schedules, medication routines, training plans, and any other instructions that help keep your pet happy and comfortable. Before moving to North Idaho, I spent 13 years in law enforcement. That career taught me responsibility, attention to detail, clear communication, and how to stay calm under pressure—qualities I now bring to every pet I care for. I moved here for a slower pace of life, and caring for animals has been the perfect fit. I can’t wait to meet you and your pet! My schedule is open and flexible to care for your furry family member! I am open to short notice bookings and update my calendar for availability regularly. I understand that trusting someone with your pet is a big decision. Whether we’re going on walks, playing fetch, sticking to a routine, or simply providing companionship while you’re away, I’ll care for your pet as if they were my own. You can also count on regular updates, photos, and prompt communication so you always know how your furry family member is doing.

About: I have experience helping care for a dog with an autoimmune disease, so I'm always mindful of pets with special needs, such as a specfic diet or medication, needed to keep them healthy. Currently I'm unemployed, so I have all the time in the world to look after the three cats I live with, and I'd happy to look after other people's pets too! I like to give pets their space while staying attentive to their body language and needs. In someone else's home, I'd be respectful of the space while caring for their furry loved one.
“Ashley was great with out big boy Remy! We had Ashley for a week of walks while we went on a cruise since my MIL was not physically able to walk him. She was super responsive and kind and listened to our instructions for Remy. We really appreciated her attention to communication and her attitude towards our boy who is learning proper leash etiquette. It was so nice knowing he was having a good time and getting exercise and that Ashley was able to avoid his triggers on the walk to the best of her ability as well. Definitely would recommend!”

About: Experienced in caring for dogs of all sizes for over 15 years. I've also fostered dogs in my home, and been privileged to be Mom to an Old English Sheepdog, Newfie, and now a Malamute named London. I am currently studying remotely for my Master's in nutritional health, so I'm at home all day. I hike with my pup twice a day, come rain or shine. I have a fully fenced (6ft) yard that is fully secure. We live on a quiet street and are just a few minutes' walk from a fenced dog park and a beautiful and quiet trail system.
About: i am extremely experience with pets of all abilities, sizes, weights, breeds, and ages. I also have experience with medication administration! I also have experience transporting pets in the car. I thoroughly enjoy long or quick walks or hanging out with the pups at your home :) I am available every day of the week! My only UNavailable times are (including my driving time): - Tuesday 11:15 - 5:15 - Wednesday 9:15 - 1:15 - Thursday 9:45 - 3:00 I spend time with your pups following instructions very carefully . I care about movement and exercise for your pup, as well as finding out their music tastes! I care for them with cuddles and scratches and personal attention. I also will play outside in the fresh air with your doggo. I never give people food to any dog and will rush to grab something off the floor if dropped to get it before they do. I make sure they have enough water in a clean bowl regularly and never have to hold their pee :) if requested, I will pick up poop out of the yard and definitely on a walk or playing at the park. Dogs are so special to us and deserve the best care!
About: I have enjoyed so many years of raising and caring for domestic and farm animals. Rover has allowed me to continue my true passion. I wish to provide safe and loving care for your four footed family members, it's what I know best. In Montana I had a 10 acre Hobby Farm where I enjoyed raising sheep, goats, pigs and chickens. My horses, dogs, cats and rabbits gave me so much love. My abilities with both domestic and farm animals include feeding, medical attention, trips to the vet, proper exercise, poop patrol, cleaning of bedding/feeding containers, grooming and most of all LOVE. “Wendy and her husband were so nice during the meet and great and tour of their vast property. The property had a great country feel and lots of space for our dog to play with supervision. She explained how the dog kennels worked, which were a great size with open air and heated indoor area. Wendy answered all of our questions and was a great communicator before, during and after. Our Golden Retriever gravitated to her from day one. She was boarded from drop off on 11/22 to pickup on 11/29. Absolutely loved the videos and photos she sent during that time showing our girl happy and playing her heart out. Upon arriving back at home our golden had a nice long nap and was back to her normal routine upon waking up, which says a lot. We felt the boarding fees were appropriate and are grateful to have found Wendy. We would highly recommend her and will continue using her services.”

About: I work remotely and love taking walks throughout the day to stop looking at screens. I go for frequent runs, walks and hikes and love taking a dog with me, just let me know if you would like your pup to get extra exercise! I live in downtown CDA area with a large fenced yard and a great neighborhood for walks! I only take in one dog at a time. I had both dogs and cats growing up and I'm a proud Aunty of all my friends dogs when they are out of town. I always look forward to it! If you have a strong high energy dog, don't sweat it. I had a retriever/chow mix for 14 years and I'm stronger than I look. :) Currently I work in real estate so I make my own hours and have plenty of time to walk your pup and give them extra attention I have a large fenced yard, a good size home for them to roam around, and a great neighborhood for long walks. <3 danyelle .
