About: I have always been a cat person. Since I was a babe. Since our first family cats. The Gray one that we named 'Smog' used to try to lick my face! Even though we grew up with mostly outdoor/indoor cats and I have even befriended some semi-feral 'barn cats'. When I got *my* cat, I was very slow to begin to let her outside freely. I understand that some cats are better suited to being indoor only cats. I know some of the 'tricks' to making good friends with cats, and one is just for them to see you enough times in a calm state that they feel they can trust you. I deeply care about helping cats feel safe and nurtured. Once I know their personality, I am really good at knowing if something different or difficult is going on with them. I have made some really beautiful connections with different cats and seen amazing abilities from them when befriending new people.

We have the experience of caring for dogs through their feeding, grooming, exercising, bathing, and of course lots of loving through their senior years. We are both retired, so your dog(s) will have lots of loving attention and care throughout its/their stay. We have a doggie door so your dog(s) can have free access to our large fenced backyard. We generally accept only one client at a time, so we can give your dog(s) lots of attention and love. We do sometimes allow an overlap with another client's dog, but only if we know the dogs involved get along well. We have one dog, Jax (Cavalier King Charles). He is very loving, playful, and unaggressive. Weather permitting and with your approval, we will include your dog(s) in our daily walks in our neighborhood and excursions to local parks. However we do not allow our dog and your dog(s) in "dog parks" and do not allow them to have exposure to other dogs on our walks. Since we are retired, we will also give lots of cuddles and play in between outings, to keep them engaged. We have a dog toy box full of toys for them to play with, if they want. We will follow your instructions, including for special needs, to make sure of your pet(s)’ total care and safety. We have a large and comfy single level home with 24/7 access to a large secure backyard and a doggie door. My house is steps from the foothills and my yard is fenced. I have a teenage son who loves animals and a very spoiled lab named Mack who enjoys playing with other dogs. I also have two koi in our backyard pond named Ramen and Jack. I am a lifelong pet owner and I'm comfortable with providing medicine, including pills, topicals or subcutaneous injections, to animals. I'll also send you daily text updates and photos, so you can follow your pet's fun from afar. I work from home and love to play with my dog, Mack, and our furry boarders throughout the day. I like to incorporate outdoor time into our play, taking walks or playing ball in the yard. Mack is a very big dog, but he plays well with dogs of all sizes. I have a fenced yard and a sweet labrador to keep your dog company. I also have a big indoor playroom that provides enough space for your pet to chase a ball and burn some energy even in the worst weather. My dog Mack is crate trained and he likes to take naps in his crate when he needs a break from his new friends. If your dog also uses a crate, I have plenty of room to set it up, but being crate-trained is not a requirement for boarding with me. I try to keep dogs off the furniture, but I spend plenty of time on the floor playing with and snuggling Mack and our furry visitors.

She took them on several long walks and my daughter's dog is a RELENTLESS player with balls and Chunli very patiently played with her for way longer than I would have! About: I have been taking care of family/friend pets through the entirety of high school and afterwards. I have worked with a positive feedback trainer with my dog and have been able to apply those teachings to other behaviors in animals. I also know how to handle medications for dogs, from pills, intestine liquids, and topical creams. I absolutely adore big dogs and will totally let them be lap dogs. I love little dogs, even if they try to be ferocious creatures. I work a part-time job and am focusing most of my free time to medical concerns. I traditionally work in the early morning, 6-12. This leaves my afternoons free for the pets, but I can figure out how to care for them in the morning if necessary. Beyond that, I want to maintain active with the animals, playing, cuddling and taking for walks. I have 3 dogs of varying sizes (8, 25, & 100). They have different diets and activity levels, but all maintain their appropriate body weight. We have a fenced backyard for them to roam around in. The big dog is an anxious creature so he gets put in the crate when everyone leaves the house. I specifically worked with him on it and he has done wonderfully with positive reinforcement. I am able to transfer this knowledge to other animals, it might just take a few tries. Access to treats might help 😋. For walks, I can handle dogs big dogs and the ones that pull pretty well. I refuse to use choke chains and shock collars. If they are wearing one, I would like (with your permission) to switch it for a regular collar during the time of my stay.
