“Paul and his son did a 10 star job of watching my Rowdy, a Golden Retriever. Rowdy is over 10 years old in human years which makes him over 70 in dog years. In all that time, this is actually the first time I’ve ever boarded Rowdy. That alone tells you how protected he is-rarely is he out of my sight. I am so thankful that I chose Paul to watch over Rowdy. I hit a home run for sure! Paul was so thorough and heartfelt in his care of Rowdy, for he kept me in the loop, he touched base with me through the app consistently, and sent me pictures of Rowdy, at play and during movie time. It touched my heart when Paul mentioned that he recently lost his pet companion of many years, and that this time with Rowdy helped fill the void and gave him that sense of companionship once again. About: I have loved critters of all kinds since childhood. I attended obedience training for my family Rottweiler at age 6, and have cared for many big-breed dogs such as pitbulls, American bulldogs, mastiffs, Great Danes, labs, and more. I have been the trusted pet sitter for friends and family starting as early as middle school, and am also very comfortable around small breeds and senior babies. I have experience with Boston terriers, yorkies, daschunds, beagles, and more. I have and am comfortable with administering necessary meds or topicals for pets with extra health needs. I am typically available in the mornings, afternoons, and early evenings! I have a fenced in backyard, and I do not have a dog of my own. I have a dining area with an extra couch that can be sectioned off if needed for a crate or food. I do have a senior cat who is indoor, who is very friendly with dogs. He grew up around my mom’s beagles, so he doesn’t mind company/energy! I can section off my basement stairs and kitchen for safety if needed. I cannot board any cat-aggressive dogs for my cat’s safety. I do not use any non pet-safe cleaners or pest control in my home.

About: I’ve watched many dogs and two cats over the past 4 years usually over family friend vacations. I’ve worked with reactive dogs as well as two young puppies. I spoil my dogs and would be happy to treat your pets with just as much love! I am a part time college student so I have a TON of time to pet sit! As I prepare for dental school in the fall, I will also be free for summer work. I love staying with dogs in either an environment they are used to or my own depending on what the pet parent prefers! There is a fenced in dog park behind my apartment that is never occupied where I run around with dogs. If it is occupied, I would walk around the park nearby with lots to smell on the trail. I also love giving dog baths, so that could totally be included!

Generally, my pup gets some play time and exercise in the morning before work, during lunch, and then after work. During work hours, they hang with me in my office playing with toys, enjoying a chewy treat or just cuddling and napping while I work. I have a friendly dog who loves to play (he can be a little vocal - it's the terrier in him) and will be happy to give your fur baby some company. I allow my dog on the furniture and beds, but if you prefer not to, I am happy to adjust per your need. Let me know if your dogs need a specific routine or have play preferences. I am home all day, as I work remotely, and have a dog of Chocolate lab that loves to play but never gets to spend time with other dogs since we are new to the area. I work remotely and will be available to care for dogs throughout the day and ensure they are well cared for. I work from 8-4 however have a lot of down time to care for dogs. “If I could give Alison 10 stars I would. She was our hero this last weekend. Our poor pup caught a case of diarrhea the first night that we left her with the original sitter. While we were on the runway waiting for our airplane to take off, the original sitter called us panicking saying that she could not continue to watch our dog. Rover helped us get in contact with Alison who answered the call for help immediately. She drove all the way to the other sitter’s house to pick up our baby and took amazing care of her. Alison hand fed our dog when she was feeling sick and took her out every hour throughout the night. She made our pup feel right at home and put our minds at ease too. Alison is absolutely the type of person that can be trusted to treat your pet like her own family.”
