Another plus is there were 4-5 large dogs for Osborne to play with in Amanda's fenced in backyard so he came home happily exhausted. Amanda was extremely flexible in drop off/pick up times which was greatly appreciated as we were heading out of town for the weekend. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. About: I grew up caring for dogs my entire life so far, and cats/exotic animals later on. I had a golden retriever from ages 0-10, two Bichon Shih Tzu mixes from ages 11 into my late teen years, and a mini golden doodle and Bichon poodle mix from my teens until i moved out at 18. I also know how to handle myself in emergency situations, I've learned dog first aid and I've broken up fights in my time that would've been deadly if I wasn't there. I am currently a general contractor making my schedule very open, my wife loves helping with pets of all kinds as well which allows for more care opportunities. The only thing that wouldn't likely work would be multiple days of house sitting IF I am not able to leave for 3-4 hours at a time. I have a hard time spending an extended amount of time not being able to see my infant son! I'll do whatever someone wants for their pet, assuming it's reasonable. I'm okay on multiple large walks, extended play time outside, anything like that is 100% okay.
