About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. I currently work full time from home so doggie day care is definitely doable! My day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends have potential as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! If you request that I come to your house I am very reliable, responsible and respectful. I can guarantee a boat load of scritches and belly rubs as well as time for “business”.

About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. About: I have cared for animals most of my life. I have cared for common house pets, rodents, birds, reptiles, and even live stock/ farm animals. My life goal is to become a vet and I have experience taking care of special needs animals. I currently work Monday - Friday 9 hours a day but will be home by 4. I live in a 3 bedroom apartment with 2 friendly cats that have both been raised around dogs most of their lives. There is also a park down the street that is just a few minutes walk. At the moment I do ask that if your furry family member will be a guest over night that a crate is provided for safety of your family and my own. I can care for your furry friends before I leave for work and after I return from work. I am also free most weekends and can watch them from Friday to sunday Your furry friends will not have access to anything harmful and will be allowed on my furniture. For their safety and mine at night I will have them sleep in a kennel.

About: I have a life of experience caring for my own animals including dogs, cats, newborn pups and kittens, a chinchilla, chickens, and geese! I regularly pet sit for my neighbor and have been asked to do the same by many friends. I have the summer off from teaching, so I am pretty flexible until late August! Then my schedule is limited to afternoons and evenings and may depend on location. I'm available to feed and play with your furry loved ones! I'm comfortable administering any medicine they may need as well. I've got it, no sweat!
About: We have been pet sitting for friends and colleagues for 2 years so thought why not join Rover and do more! Our clients love my family and we love their pets so it makes perfect sense. I have 4 kids, a small dog and two cats and my small pets just hide if a visiting pet is too much for them otherwise they don't get bothered or bother anyone else, human or pet! I work from home and I have 4 kids who love cats and dogs and love to help out with the dogs that we already provide services for. We are trusted with hideaway keys to homes to let dogs out and we run them in fenced in yards to burn energy. Then we make sure they have food and water and kennel them if applicable before we leave. In our house, visiting pets are watched over by all members of the family. Sometimes we buy them their own special toy to play with. We make sure they eat and get any meds they might need.

They were petting him, he was sleeping at their feet, and they were taking him for walks in the park--something he never does well. We loved all the updates, his home was set up for taking care of dogs, and he had other dogs to play with while we were gone--something he loves. I think Osvaldo is a dog whisperer. Some days she had other dogs which out dog loved and other days where she didn't have other dogs she still made sure our high energy dog was able to go on walks and had a way to take out the energy. “I can’t say enough good things about the care my dog received while Scott and his wife were carrying for her. She had a medical condition that had just occurred the day before, had been to the vet, but worsened and had to return to vet the very next day after he was caring for her, then progressed to hospital care the following day. It was all very difficult as I had minimal phone service where I was, but he took the time to care for her intensively. Scott took such good care of her I felt she likely got better care than I could have given. He loves, dogs. If he watches your dog you can be assured that they will be treated as part of his family. He’s the best of the best.”
