About: I have spent much of my life taking care of different animals. I grew up on a farm handling chores for animals of all kinds from horses to dogs and cats. I currently have a 3 year old Maine Coon cat named Boston! I currently work mornings, typically 7-3 M-F. My hours vary depending on the week and what I am busy with at work. I am capable of basic grooming, including nails. The Tibetan Spaniel listed on my profile is actually my daughter's dog and he is only at my home during college breaks, otherwise, they are in Ohio the rest of the year Think of your dog's stay at my house as a vacation at Grandma's. Your dog will be spoiled to the extent that YOU allow (and maybe a tennsy bit more). 😉 I mostly work from home with occasional short stints in a workplace and a very flexible schedule. I can be home at any time to ensure that dogs can potty, get playtime, etc. I never work on the weekends. I have a half acre of flat, safe, fenced in yard with grass and gardens. My schedule is very flexible and can adapt to your dog's feeding, sleeping and play schedule. I have no issues waking early, etc.

About: I used to work as a certified dog trainer and managed a daycare / boarding facility for 2 years. I was an employee there for longer. 12 hour days every day with dogs of all types. I know how to administer medications, including insulin. I also know how to handle myself in emergency situations, I've learned dog first aid and I've broken up fights in my time that would've been deadly if I wasn't there. I am currently a general contractor making my schedule very open, my wife loves helping with pets of all kinds as well which allows for more care opportunities. The only thing that wouldn't likely work would be multiple days of house sitting IF I am not able to leave for 3-4 hours at a time. I have a hard time spending an extended amount of time not being able to see my infant son! I'll do whatever someone wants for their pet, assuming it's reasonable. About: I have been the main caretaker of any animal I’ve ever had, some because I was the one who begged for it. And others because I just love animals so much that their care is only half the fun. I have experience with animals in all stages of life, from puppies to seniors. My puppy experience ranges from being the one who nursing a parvo puppy back to excellent health, she is now 3 years old and thriving. I also have a senior dog, who is such a joy but I think he forgets he has arthritis with all of his puppy antics. I also have a lot experience with teaching many tricks so don’t be surprised if your animal learns something new every time they see me! I am in an apartment which lessens the risk of anything happening to your pet on my watch! Also with living in an apartment by campus we can always go for walks and meet some college students wanting some animal love!
About: I have been dog sitting for my friends and family for years. I work from home 2 days a week and have a large fenced in backyard. I have a 3 bedroom house located a few block from a bike/walking trail. I would like a dog of my own but my schedule doesn’t allow for that so cuddling and spending time with your dog would be perfect. Your dog will have access to my furniture while I am home. I can kennel or crate your dog at your preference. I have a lock on the inside of my front door incase a dog jumps and opens the door.

She was also extremely flexible when our travel plans had to change due to flight problems during our trip. “I think my Sam had a great time with Cynthia and family…and he was so lucky that Cynthia’s daughter was there with her little dog Reggie, so he had a playmate the whole time he was there (9days). “Meagan was wonderful with our golden. She provides a large fenced in yard and does a great job supervising when there are other dogs boarding. We felt very comfortable that our dog was well cared for and treated with love - even cuddling in bed with her daughter. “Gizmo had a great stay with Brooke and her family. He and one of their cats, Chester, became very good friends, which is wonderful. We know that Gizmo is not aggressive with cats, but he hasn't had much 1:1 time with cats, so we were very pleased that the two enjoyed playing! Brooke made a concerted effort to walk Gizmo on his home schedule to avoid accidents, which I greatly appreciate.”
