I work very well with energetic and stubborn breeds. Frequents walks. Almost always home. I am a stay at home mom of older children. About: Senior care experience! I've adopted multiple dogs at 10+ yrs old from the local pounds and made sure they had the best senior care experience possible. I currently have 2 dogs, both spayed and absolutely love other dogs. A Corgi (Ruby) who is 9 and a Maltipoo (Joplin) who will be 2 this year. The poo was adopted from a kill shelter in TX (and one before her from the same area as well). We've lost 4 dogs in 2 yrs due to old age, 3 within 6 months. Hard pill to swallow but I love them all and would LOVE to love yours too! I am a stay-at-home dog mom. I have all the time in the world to take care of your babies! Believe me when I say they will come home all tuckered out :) I have a fenced in back yard and 2 VERY friendly dogs to keep your pups very much entertained! About: I provide attentive and loving care to pets of all sizes, from small lap dogs to active breeds, as well as bunnies, cats and birds. As I work from home, your pet will receive consistent attention throughout the day, regular walks, playtime, and plenty of companionship. I take time to understand their needs so they feel secure and relaxed. Every pet in my care is treated as if they were my own. With my work from home environment I am able to deal with pets all times during the week. I do travel some weeks, in which I will not take on any pets. I am flexible on schedules. In the spring I will note I coach, and may be gone for 2-3 hours maximum on some nights if there is an overnight pet. This scheduling information will of be provided ahead of time to ensure you know exactly how your pet will be cared for. As I work from home your pet will be watched all day. About: I have had pets ever since I was born. My dog and cat are my world. I’ve cared for cats and dogs both young and old. This is second nature to me. I’ve watched over pets for my friends/family in the past. I currently work full time as a nurse. My pet care availability would be more of a part time/as needed situation. With my schedule, I would be able to accommodate evening hours. I am willing to take your dog for walks, let them out for potty breaks or feed/water them. “Grant was a lifesaver for me and my puppies! As a busy night shift nurse I was not sleeping during the day so I could give my puppies attention. It all became too much so that’s when I decided to find a puppy daycare for them. I found Grant and he was open to watching them during the day for me so I can get some sleep! “This was our first experience with the Rover app and Shannon taking care of Maggie. It could not have been a better experience! Shannon was great with communication and very timely. We had boarding arrangements elsewhere and they canceled at the last minute. Shannon was quick to reply to my inquiry and helped me navigate the Rover app. The "Meet & Greet" went very well with Maggie meeting Shannon's personal K-9 companions. Right from the start, we were very comfortable and confident that Shannon would take great care of Maggie. She was very personable and kept us informed during our travels with pics/updates. When arriving to pick her up, Maggie was happy & seemingly didn't care that we had returned. It was very obvious that Maggie was well cared for and SPOILED! About: My household has had dogs for the past 12 years. I have watched dogs for other families while they are away several times over the past 10 years. I work very well with energetic and stubborn breeds. Frequents walks. Almost always home. I am a stay at home mom of older children. I am almost always home, and will ensure a fun and yet peaceful environment. Thank you for your consideration. I do have a fenced in yard that is smaller, and live very close to a dog park if desired. I can seperate our dog on a lower level if there is ever any issues, or space is need.
