About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix named Maverick. I also volunteer with local animal shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. As a medical student, I’m used to staying organized, following detailed instructions, and paying close attention to routines and behavior. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog needs lots of exercise, extra patience, medication, or just a comfortable place to relax, I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual needs I’m currently a medical student, and much of my coursework can be completed from home. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care throughout the day. While my schedule varies slightly week to week, I’m generally available for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship. I make every effort to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. For house sitting, I do have one requirement during the school year. I have my own friendly 4-year-old Lab mix, Maverick, who would need to come with me. He’s well socialized and enjoys other dogs, but I completely understand that this isn’t the right fit for every home. If your dog enjoys having a canine companion, I’d love to discuss whether it would be a good match during a meet and greet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise, and I only board one guest dog at a time so they receive plenty of individual attention. I also have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix who enjoys other dogs when it’s a good fit. I always take introductions slowly and make sure both dogs are comfortable before allowing interactions. I’m happy to accommodate specific feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any other instructions that help your pet feel at home.

About: I have had pets in the house as long as I can remember. I love animals and adopt all of my friends animals whenever I get the opportunity. I have also volunteered at SAINT cat shelter in Cedar Rapids! I am a student at Iowa studying Psychology! Every day is a little different, but my schedule allows me to have breaks throughout the day to go home for lunch and hang out with my cat! In the evenings I like to spend time with my friends or work on my art or music. I live in a studio apartment in Iowa City. “Abbey is an absolute dynamite find for dog care! We were looking for some regular doggie daycare for our dog after our other dog passed away. He was upset and nervous when left alone. We found Abbey and she had been so sweet and kind…wow! Her yard and house are amazing. I wanted to stay and play in the yard myself! All the other dogs in her care were well mannered and immediately welcomed our dog. Now when we go to her house he bounds up her steps wiggling and beyond excited. About: I have owned and cared for dogs my entire life and have had many neighbors back home request my dog sitting services. I am home all day, as I work remotely, and have a dog of Chocolate lab that loves to play but never gets to spend time with other dogs since we are new to the area. I definitely am open to negotiating prices so just reach out and we can have a conversation! I work remotely and will be available to care for dogs throughout the day and ensure they are well cared for. I work from 8-4 however have a lot of down time to care for dogs. If I am booked on a specific day during your booking, I will let you know ahead of time so you can approve or deny the amount of hours I will be gone for that day (which can be anywhere from a 1-hour session to a full 10-hour wedding). I have experience as a dog owner, but have also spent many of my years dog and cat sitting for my friends and family. I raised and trained my parents puppy, a Bichon Frise Shih Tzu mix who needed lots of care to control his barking and playful nature, now 6 years old and so loving. I prefer dogs and cats have been handled and are used to being cared for, with no history of lashing out or biting. I love dogs and cats and love playing with them. I respect their personalities and make sure they’re always happy! I currently work from home and I have occasional meetings but I am constantly playing with my dogs and checking on them. I love having my door open to our fenced in backyard so they can freely run in and out. My dogs love water activities that keep them busy. We also love bubbles! I walk my dogs twice or 3 times a day depending on their and mine activity level. **Doggy day care rate is for standard 8hours. Additional hours after 8 will be $5 each hour. Thank you! I have a fenced in yard and two very friendly active dogs that we love to play. I have kennels for them if your dog prefers to be alone. I can also walk them around my block with large side walks.
About: I have 5 years of experience taking care of dogs and other animals. In my experience, I've taken care of puppies at the age of 3 months to senior dogs at the age of 11 years old. About: I am a medical student. I have put all of my efforts towards caring for others and their loved ones. My pet care experience first started when my family got a red-fox laboratory puppy seven years ago. It was a dream come true, something my sister and I had waited for many years. While Bhima, our puppy, was just a bundle of fun, he came with a load of responsibilities. From grooming to bathing to brushing to walking, a lot of the responsibility relied heavily on my sister and I. I hope to care for my rover pets with the same attention to detail, love, and affection, as I have been caring for Bhima over the last four years. I am very active, flexible, and outgoing. About: I’ve been around animals my entire life and currently have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix named Maverick. I also volunteer with local animal shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. As a medical student, I’m used to staying organized, following detailed instructions, and paying close attention to routines and behavior. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog needs lots of exercise, extra patience, medication, or just a comfortable place to relax, I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual needs I’m currently a medical student, and much of my coursework can be completed from home. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care throughout the day. While my schedule varies slightly week to week, I’m generally available for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship. I make every effort to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. For house sitting, I do have one requirement during the school year. I have my own friendly 4-year-old Lab mix, Maverick, who would need to come with me. He’s well socialized and enjoys other dogs, but I completely understand that this isn’t the right fit for every home. If your dog enjoys having a canine companion, I’d love to discuss whether it would be a good match during a meet and greet. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise, and I only board one guest dog at a time so they receive plenty of individual attention. About: I am a responsible college student athlete who is very active and loves to be around pets. I have grown up with 1-3 pets in the house my whole life, and I have learned to take care of them to the best of my abilities. I have gotten used to doing the many duties involved with taking care of a pet, including picking up waste. My summer is busy enough to create a schedule to keep me organized, but I have more than enough free time to take care of your pet(s)! I have always been a lover of bigger dogs, which is the size of dog I have the most experience with, but I have been a dog-sitter for small dogs too. I am open and comfortable with a variety!
