I regularly pet sit for my neighbor and have been asked to do the same by many friends. I have the summer off from teaching, so I am pretty flexible until late August! About: Growing up on a family farm, I have had the opportunity to care for many different kinds of animals (dogs, horses, cats, chickens, goats, pigs and cows). I have taken care of family and friends dogs for the last 20 years. I have raised 5 puppies and have shown a few of them in local shows. My kids are 13 and 10 and love taking our dogs for walks, hikes and playing with them in our very large back yard. I am home all summer and my school year schedule varies so I have plenty of time to take your pup on walks and play with them. I have a large fenced back yard and 2 pups friendly pups. I have the ability to take your dog to either a paved or dirt trail for walks or runs. My dogs walk 4 to 5 miles a day but I can definitely make the walk shorter if needed. I have the ability to separate the dogs if needed. I can also crate the dogs. Our dogs love to lounge on our couches.

About: Are you looking for a more personal dog sitting experience rather than kennel? I will keep to your dog's routine with feeding schedules and outside breaks. I have two of my own spoiled dogs and a well behaved 12 year old son. We live in a few acres with a large privacy fenced backyard with plenty of room to play! I can give your pet lots of love and attention, and outside play time! I work at a local vet clinic taking care of many different animals with a variety of needs (including medication). I am very easy to contact, if necessary. I have references available upon request! I can't wait to meet you and your fur family- always open to meet and greets but up to your comfort level :) I prefer a weeks notice to adjust scheduling. Your dog must be dog and cat friendly. Outside breaks are offered in the morning, afternoon, early evening and evening. Breaks are typically 15-20 minutes or more but also dependent on weather. Feeding schedule can be 1-3 times a day. I have a six foot privacy fence and latched gates. All doors are locked when I'm away from home and at night. We're in the country away from any busy roads.

“Our yorkie-poo LOVED Cindy! She was the perfect Rover for him. She spoiled him and treated him as her own fur baby. It was nice having a Rover who focuses her attention on one dog at a time in her home, so we didn’t need to worry about how he would interact with unfamiliar dogs. We felt very confident in her care and trusted her as she is a long term resident in the community. She also sent some cute pictures of our Franklin! Thank you, Cindy!
