About: I have had dogs all my life. I have had big dogs and small dogs. I have done training with my current dog and she is a great emotional support animal. I work until 2 so I have time late afternoon and evenings to go for walks and extra time on the weekends to walk and play with pups. I have a big yard that my dog loves to play in. About: Growing up on a family farm, I have had the opportunity to care for many different kinds of animals (dogs, horses, cats, chickens, goats, pigs and cows). I have taken care of family and friends dogs for the last 20 years. I have raised 5 puppies and have shown a few of them in local shows. My kids are 13 and 10 and love taking our dogs for walks, hikes and playing with them in our very large back yard. I am home all summer and my school year schedule varies so I have plenty of time to take your pup on walks and play with them. I have a large fenced back yard and 2 pups friendly pups. I have the ability to take your dog to either a paved or dirt trail for walks or runs. My dogs walk 4 to 5 miles a day but I can definitely make the walk shorter if needed. About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! About: Are you looking for a more personal dog sitting experience rather than kennel? I will keep to your dog's routine with feeding schedules and outside breaks. I have two of my own spoiled dogs and a well behaved 12 year old son. We live in a few acres with a large privacy fenced backyard with plenty of room to play! I can give your pet lots of love and attention, and outside play time! I work at a local vet clinic taking care of many different animals with a variety of needs (including medication). I am very easy to contact, if necessary. I have references available upon request! I can't wait to meet you and your fur family- always open to meet and greets but up to your comfort level :) I prefer a weeks notice to adjust scheduling. Your dog must be dog and cat friendly. Outside breaks are offered in the morning, afternoon, early evening and evening. Breaks are typically 15-20 minutes or more but also dependent on weather. Feeding schedule can be 1-3 times a day. I have a six foot privacy fence and latched gates. All doors are locked when I'm away from home and at night. We're in the country away from any busy roads.

About: I have had multiple pets from mice to dogs so I'm well rounded in diverse care. I love to play with animals especially dogs theyre just amazing. Weekends, work days, holidays (if needed). I can house for multiple days. I only leave to get groceries or to take my dog to the park. Safe and loving. Will have a great play partner Sammy loves to play he would all day if he could, we go on walks, park trips, sometimes just a drive.
About: I love any dog that crosses my path I have experience with lots of small dogs but also some very large dogs and am able to handle them both. I have experience with older dogs who may need more help with certain things but also the most energetic younger dogs who need to be played with and walked many times a day I am still a student athlete in college so I have classes and practices throughout the week but your pet will never be left alone for longer than about 2 hours at a time which will be a very rare occurrence, my classes end in April so ill have a lot more free time soon as well Making sure they are fed in a timely manner, I love playing with dogs so as long as they have energy ill be there to play with them, making sure they get walks and potty breaks often, and taking care of any special needs they might have that ive been made aware of.
About: Prices are negotiable. I understand when having multiple dogs it racks up to a lot. I am willing to work with you on prices. I’ve had a dog since I was 8 years old. My love for dogs is never ending. I have been taking care of other peoples dogs since I was 19. I’m available to stay with your dog. I am not available to bring your dog to my house. I believe dogs do best in their own environment with all their toys and their own area. I currently work full time for a daycare in Polk City. I work 10hr days Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday. On the weekends I like to take my sister’s dog for a walk unless I am watching someone else dog I will take that dog on a walk if able to. Majority of the dogs I watch stay at home because they know that area better. Anxiety is very common in dogs that get boarded or are away from home.

About: We have been pet sitting for friends and colleagues for 2 years so thought why not join Rover and do more! Our clients love my family and we love their pets so it makes perfect sense. I have 4 kids, a small dog and two cats and my small pets just hide if a visiting pet is too much for them otherwise they don't get bothered or bother anyone else, human or pet! I work from home and I have 4 kids who love cats and dogs and love to help out with the dogs that we already provide services for. We are trusted with hideaway keys to homes to let dogs out and we run them in fenced in yards to burn energy. Then we make sure they have food and water and kennel them if applicable before we leave. In our house, visiting pets are watched over by all members of the family. Sometimes we buy them their own special toy to play with. We make sure they eat and get any meds they might need.
About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! I am also committed to ensuring that any client who has special accommodations for their pets gets those wishes granted and will do everything in my power to make sure the pet has a great time with me!!

She made sure that she knew everything that Sadie may need or if there are any concerns that I had. She also took Sadie last minute which was super great for me. During Sadie’s stay, she sent me multiple videos and pictures which really helped me feel at ease, leaving my pup in her care. She’s very communicative and let I know what Sadie was doing throughout the day and when she was going for walks and how much she was eating. Sadie was very tired after her stay and I know that she enjoyed hanging out with Kelsey and her pup. We will absolutely be using her again in the future.”
About: We are a 2 person team of Jaleah and Drew. We both grew up having dogs of many different sizes and can handle almost anything if communicated! We’d love to give your pet exercise, cuddles, or whatever they need! Drew wakes up around 5 am and will be able to take your pet out and when Jaleah wakes up around 7, they’ll go out again. Drew gets off work at 1 and will take them on a long walk. When Jaleah gets off work around 5, we usually go for another evening walk. We live in an apartment but are near many trails and even have access to a mini dog park. We are very responsible with pets. We will make sure they’re cared for and will follow any directions given to us. We have a variety of skills with dogs so there’s a good chance I can do whatever you need! We will treat your pets as if they were our own!
About: I’ve always been the go to gal for friends and family when caring for their pets. From drop ins, walks, snacks and snuggles. Whatever your pet prefers! I’m currently working part-time in my own business to be home with my own kiddo and fur baby more often. We love to play fetch and snuggle all week. Occasionally hanging with our other furry friends! About: Ever since I was a child animals have always been a huge love so I started caring for them at a young age. This includes dogs, cats, hamsters, guinea pigs, wild and domesticated rabbits and more. Working at the veterinarian hospital has been a highlight in my life getting to spend time and take care of the pets there! This job consists of feeding, walking, bathing, and administering medication of varying forms. I am currently working as a vet tech at an emergency animal hospital. I’m available for house sitting reservations anytime within reason. I am flexible to schedules as long as you communicate with me in advance! I will hangout with your fur baby both inside and out, depending on their and your preference (weather permitting of course.) I like to run and walk so if they enjoy that we can absolutely do that. However, I also like to just hangout inside if they are more on the lazy/cuddly side of things! It all depends on your and their preferences! My work schedule can be very flexible as long as I have plenty of time in advance! I usually don’t work weekends. The times that I work during the week are able to be changed if I am aware of them early enough! (About 1 month out) I will follow your and their daily routine, this will keep them the most safe and keep things normal for them while you are away!
