About: I've always had pets growing up. I currently have 2 dogs of my own, one female and one male. The female is 40 lbs and the male is 10lbs. I currently work a full time job so I'm only available on nights and boarding on weekends. But I'm usually always home when I'm not working. I have outdoor tie ups so your dogs can still get exercise. I will be fencing in part of the yard eventually. The 2 dogs I have are high energy and will play with any animal. I do have crates if they need to be crated.

About: Growing up on a family farm, I have had the opportunity to care for many different kinds of animals (dogs, horses, cats, chickens, goats, pigs and cows). I have taken care of family and friends dogs for the last 20 years. I have raised 5 puppies and have shown a few of them in local shows. My kids are 13 and 10 and love taking our dogs for walks, hikes and playing with them in our very large back yard. I am home all summer and my school year schedule varies so I have plenty of time to take your pup on walks and play with them. I have a large fenced back yard and 2 pups friendly pups. I have the ability to take your dog to either a paved or dirt trail for walks or runs. My dogs walk 4 to 5 miles a day but I can definitely make the walk shorter if needed. I have the ability to separate the dogs if needed. I can also crate the dogs. Our dogs love to lounge on our couches.

About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! I am also committed to ensuring that any client who has special accommodations for their pets gets those wishes granted and will do everything in my power to make sure the pet has a great time with me!!

I can't wait to meet you and your fur family- always open to meet and greets but up to your comfort level :) I prefer a weeks notice to adjust scheduling. Your dog must be dog and cat friendly. Outside breaks are offered in the morning, afternoon, early evening and evening. Breaks are typically 15-20 minutes or more but also dependent on weather. Feeding schedule can be 1-3 times a day. I have a six foot privacy fence and latched gates. All doors are locked when I'm away from home and at night. We're in the country away from any busy roads.

About: I have had multiple pets from mice to dogs so I'm well rounded in diverse care. I love to play with animals especially dogs theyre just amazing. Weekends, work days, holidays (if needed). I can house for multiple days. I only leave to get groceries or to take my dog to the park. Safe and loving. About: I had dog when I was only 5 years old and always been taking care of dogs since I was growing up and now have my own baby, Porky and everyone always relies on me to watch their dogs and caring fir them while they are gone. I will always give them treats if being good. All you have to do is let me know what not to do or to do for them so I can be prepared.

My love for dogs is never ending. I have been taking care of other peoples dogs since I was 19. I’m available to stay with your dog. I am not available to bring your dog to my house. I believe dogs do best in their own environment with all their toys and their own area. I’m currently work full time for a daycare in Polk City. I work 10hr days Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday. On the weekends I like to take my sister’s dog for a walk unless I am watching someone else dog I will take that dog on a walk if able to. Majority of the dogs I watch stay at home because they know that area better. Anxiety is very common in dogs that get boarded or are away from home.

“Kelsey was FANTASTIC with Sadie. She took the time to get to know Sadie before bringing her into her home. She made sure that she knew everything that Sadie may need or if there are any concerns that I had. She also took Sadie last minute which was super great for me. During Sadie’s stay, she sent me multiple videos and pictures which really helped me feel at ease, leaving my pup in her care. She’s very communicative and let I know what Sadie was doing throughout the day and when she was going for walks and how much she was eating. About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. About: We have been pet sitting for friends and colleagues for 2 years so thought why not join Rover and do more! Our clients love my family and we love their pets so it makes perfect sense. About: We are a 2 person team of Jaleah and Drew. We both grew up having dogs of many different sizes and can handle almost anything if communicated! We’d love to give your pet exercise, cuddles, or whatever they need! Drew wakes up around 5 am and will be able to take your pet out and when Jaleah wakes up around 7, they’ll go out again. Drew gets off work at 1 and will take them on a long walk. When Jaleah gets off work around 5, we usually go for another evening walk. We live in an apartment but are near many trails and even have access to a mini dog park. We are very responsible with pets. We will make sure they’re cared for and will follow any directions given to us. We have a variety of skills with dogs so there’s a good chance I can do whatever you need! However, I also like to just hangout inside if they are more on the lazy/cuddly side of things! It all depends on your and their preferences! My work schedule can be very flexible as long as I have plenty of time in advance! I usually don’t work weekends. The times that I work during the week are able to be changed if I am aware of them early enough! (About 1 month out) I will follow your and their daily routine, this will keep them the most safe and keep things normal for them while you are away!
