About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. About: Growing up on a family farm, I have had the opportunity to care for many different kinds of animals (dogs, horses, cats, chickens, goats, pigs and cows). I have taken care of family and friends dogs for the last 20 years. I have raised 5 puppies and have shown a few of them in local shows. My kids are 10 and 7 and love taking our dogs for walks, hikes and playing with them in our very large back yard. I have the ability to take your dog to either a paved or dirt trail for walks or runs. My dogs walk 4 to 5 miles a day but I can definitely make the walk shorter if needed. About: I've had pets all my life and would love to care for yours too, on a temporary basis. I love to vacation and often struggle with finding a solution for my babies while I'm gone. For me my favorite choice is to have someone I know and trust stay in my home but there's hardly ever anyone available for that kind of commitment! I thought it would be awesome to be able to provide that kind of care for someone else: house/pet sitting, drop-in, or just walks/exercise. I want you to know your pets are loved and treated with gentle kindness. I recognize that I'm kind of a stranger to your babies and I'll treat them like my own and earn their trust! They'll be loved and cared for in a way that will make your absence less stressful for them and as much like their normal days as it can be while you're away. I take my responsibilities to others extremely seriously and won't be satisfied unless you are! I'm retired so my schedule is very flexible! I have availability on weekdays and weekends both. Mornings, afternoons, and evenings are fine by mutual agreement. I enjoy taking find for walks or just playing outside in the yard. On days where weather is bad, I'm happy to get the dogs outside to do their business and then play a bit indoors!
About: I have taken care of dogs of all sizes small to extra large as well as cats and even some exotic pets. I have been the go to sitter for my friends and family every time they go on vacation. I love caring for animals and can’t wait to help you with yours. I am experienced with animals- puppies to elderly dogs, kittens to elderly cats. I homeschool my kids so I have a very flexible schedule and can work with what you need. I mostly have open afternoons and Friday through the weekend. While I’m taking care of your pet I will do all I can to assure they are taken care of physically as well as emotionally offering love, play and exercise, whatever it is they need that day. Every pet is different and I will work with you to ensure they are getting what they need from me, walks, pets or play.
About: Born and raised a dog lover! I’ve have 5 dogs throughout my life that I have loved so dearly. I’ve grown up taking care of my friend’s dogs in HS and college. I love to go on walks, so why not bring your pup with me! I unfortunately do not have my own dog at this time with my significant other, but I hope to get one soon! I am a teacher who is taking a small step back in education to focus on my health. I know your dogs will help me A LOT during this transition, and they will be under great care. I currently live in an apartment in Des Moines, so I am also available for drop-ins to ensure your pup is comfortable at home! I am willing to travel to different to parts of the metro to help you and your pup!
About: I've always had pets growing up. I currently have 2 dogs of my own, one female and one male. The female is 40 lbs and the male is 10lbs. I currently work a full time job so I'm only available on nights and boarding on weekends. But I'm usually always home when I'm not working. I have outdoor tie ups so your dogs can still get exercise. I will be fencing in part of the yard eventually. The 2 dogs I have are high energy and will play with any animal. I do have crates if they need to be crated.
