I heard the weather was crazy here in Iowa on the first week of February, to the point where cars couldn't move. He notified me thoroughly throughout the whole 3 weeks which made me very comfortable. When I was out of contact due to time difference/internet issue, he still kept helping me out with suggestions and waited for me to respond which could've been a long burden. “This being our first time with Rover - and Josh- and being somewhat late in the planning stage, I was of course a bit nervous, but Josh put us at ease right away. He first offered a Meet-n-Greet where we got to visit him at his home, get to know him a bit, and talk about expectations and our senior dog’s needs. He was flexible with the drop off and pick up scheduling and followed up during our trip with daily text updates and pictures to keep us “in the know”. We joked with our family that our pup wouldn’t want to come home with us because she was being loved on so well. 😊 Being a bit of a high anxiety dog, she often will shed a lot when nervous, but when she arrived home it was obvious to me that she had had a good experience. She was not only bright-eyed and tail wagging, but her coat was shiny and smooth – she was happy and feeling good. As any pet lover would agree, it does a momma’s heart good to know that there is someone out there who will care for your fur-baby with the same, if not better intent than your own. We believe Josh treated our dog with the utmost care, and would definitely reach out to him again if we need a safe place for our pet. ~Thanks Josh!!”

About: I have had a pets my entire life, mostly dogs and cats. I currently have 2 labs and 1 golden doodle who roam the yard with our farm animals; chickens and ducks. They are kennel trained and wouldn’t be around customer pets. I have 3 kids who love learning and helping out with chores. About: I've been taking care of my mom's dog when she is out of town for over 10 years. My brother recently got a puppy and I have added her to my list! Dogs are near and dear to my heart and are treated just like a child on our home! I am a stay at home mom to our 2 year old. We are generally not gone for more than a couple of hours, if at all. About: I have owned and cared for dogs my entire life and have had many neighbors back home request my dog sitting services. I am home all day, as I work remotely, and have a dog of Chocolate lab that loves to play but never gets to spend time with other dogs since we are new to the area. I definitely am open to negotiating prices so just reach out and we can have a conversation! I work remotely and will be available to care for dogs throughout the day and ensure they are well cared for. I work from 8-4 however have a lot of down time to care for dogs. About: Hi! My name is Grace, and I’m a NICU nurse at the University. I’ve grown up with dogs of all sizes and have always loved being around them. My husband, Taylor, and I live in a home with a fully fenced backyard along with our 3-year-old son and, part-time, my 11-year-old stepdaughter, who insists she’ll have 10 dogs of her own someday—haha! We also have an almost 5-year-old mini Goldendoodle. He lost his big brother a few years ago, and while now isn’t the right time for us to add another dog to our family, we thought hosting some furry playmates would be a fun way to keep him happy and social. For everyone’s comfort and safety, we’re only able to host dogs under about 35 pounds, as larger dogs tend to make ours anxious. He’s very used to playing with his 8–10-pound Yorkie cousins during the holidays and absolutely loves having canine friends to run around with! I work 12hr shifts on both Saturday and Sunday, then I am home all week. My husband is home on the weekends, so someone is always home. We allow dogs in our beds and on our couch. I am aware of poisonous foods and plants to dogs. I also make sure to follow instructions!

I love being outside and walking, so spending that time with dogs makes it even better. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine, and I enjoy giving each pup the attention they deserve. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, I focus on keeping them safe, happy, and comfortable. I follow their usual routine as closely as possible—walks, feeding times, play, and downtime. In my home, pets have a cozy, dog-friendly space with plenty of love and supervision (plus a playful pup to keep them company if they enjoy dog friends). In a client’s home, I respect their space and make sure their pet feels secure and cared for while you're away.
About: I’ve always been an animal lover and have grown up surrounded by cats and dogs. Caring for pets has always come naturally to me! I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playing, bathing, and simply spending time with your sweet friend. I’ve also worked at a dog daycare, which gave me hands-on experience with dogs of all sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. My husband and I will do our very best to create a calm and comforting environment for your pet. I’m happy to stick to their routine, give extra snuggles, or just sit with them quietly if that’s what helps them feel safe. I’ll also send regular photo and text updates so you can see how they’re doing and feel reassured while you’re away. I’m currently a nursing student, so my schedule will depend on my classes and clinicals, but I won’t be working another job so it gives me plenty of time to care for your pets. Whether you need help with daily care or overnight stays, I’m happy to come to your home to feed, walk, play with, or simply keep your pet company. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are my top priorities and I’ll always care for them as if they were my own.

“I had to leave the country for about 3 weeks due to my personal business and I asked Jason as always to care for my babies. I heard the weather was crazy here in Iowa on the first week of February, to the point where cars couldn't move. He notified me thoroughly throughout the whole 3 weeks which made me very comfortable. When I was out of contact due to time difference/internet issue, he still kept helping me out with suggestions and waited for me to respond which could've been a long burden. “This being our first time with Rover - and Josh- and being somewhat late in the planning stage, I was of course a bit nervous, but Josh put us at ease right away. He first offered a Meet-n-Greet where we got to visit him at his home, get to know him a bit, and talk about expectations and our senior dog’s needs. He was flexible with the drop off and pick up scheduling and followed up during our trip with daily text updates and pictures to keep us “in the know”. We joked with our family that our pup wouldn’t want to come home with us because she was being loved on so well. 😊 Being a bit of a high anxiety dog, she often will shed a lot when nervous, but when she arrived home it was obvious to me that she had had a good experience. She was not only bright-eyed and tail wagging, but her coat was shiny and smooth – she was happy and feeling good. As any pet lover would agree, it does a momma’s heart good to know that there is someone out there who will care for your fur-baby with the same, if not better intent than your own. We believe Josh treated our dog with the utmost care, and would definitely reach out to him again if we need a safe place for our pet. ~Thanks Josh!!”
