“Erica was awesome! She came every day as scheduled, on time and cared for my two cats. She reached out about one of my cats receiving a supplement that we forgot to cover and she took care of him. She also reached out the day of travel to let me know that if something happened and flights were delayed that she would be happy to help out. A couple of the pictures I received were of close ups which told me that one of my cats was very happy to see her and enjoyed her company. My other cat is a giant "scardy cat" and hides from everyone she doesn't know and even she started being somewhere that Erica could get a quick picture of her. Erica took great care of my two cats, and I would highly recommend her!”

Just recently I moved from Wisconsin, working at a humane society there where everyday I did all the basic care routines/evaluations for approximately 40 dogs. About: I have always had a pet to take care of my whole life. I have a nursing background, so am comfortable with giving any medications as needed. I can bathe, feed and walk your pet as desired. I currently work part time but would be available to watch your pet on the weekends or make stops in to let them out or walk them throughout the day on days that I do not work. I also volunteer with local animal shelters, giving me experience with dogs of different ages, sizes, energy levels, and personalities. As a medical student, I’m used to staying organized, following detailed instructions, and paying close attention to routines and behavior. I understand how important it is to trust the person caring for your pet, and I take that responsibility seriously. Whether your dog needs lots of exercise, extra patience, medication, or just a comfortable place to relax, I’m happy to tailor their care to their individual needs. I’m currently a medical student, and much of my coursework can be completed from home. This gives me a flexible schedule and allows me to spend plenty of time with the pets in my care throughout the day. While my schedule varies slightly week to week, I’m generally available for frequent potty breaks, walks, playtime, meals, and plenty of companionship. I make every effort to keep your pet’s routine as consistent as possible while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I have a fully fenced backyard for safe outdoor play and exercise, and I only board one guest dog at a time so they receive plenty of individual attention. I also have a friendly 4-year-old Lab mix who enjoys other dogs when it’s a good fit. I always take introductions slowly and make sure both dogs are comfortable before allowing interactions. I’m happy to accommodate specific feeding schedules, medications, crate routines, and any other instructions that help your pet feel at home.

About: I’ve had and taken care of dogs longer than I can remember, with my childhood dog being a black lab named Rosebud. I’ve dealt with dogs ranging in all shapes and sizes. With the smallest being a Pomeranian and the biggest being a Saint Bernard. I’ve worked with energetic and lazy dogs, understanding the different care needs they might have. I have the basic knowledge on grooming and bathing. I’ve also worked with litter puppies and training puppies. I also understand the care and needs senior dogs may need as well. I currently work part-time as an overnight stocker, which gives me the entire day off to work with your pups. My schedule is very flexible and open for any of your needs. I’m willing to work around my life to fit into yours. I’m located next to many dog parks if that is what your dog needs. I also love walking and am an exercise guru, I’m always ready for a long walk if that’s what your pup prefers. I live by the moto “protecting pups, one paw at a time”. I understand that these animals are family and I strive to ensure their safety and proper care.
