“I felt completely comfortable leaving my dog with Jayne and her family! He seemed happy when we left, and happy when we picked him up. I really appreciated the pics and updates Jayne sent. I highly recommend her!”

“Krysten is amazing! Such a friendly person and very knowledgeable about what she does. Piper stayed with her for four days and she came back exhausted and happy! Will definitely send her to their house more often!”

“Paige and her family were AMAZING!!! Gracie (my pup) and i did a meet and greet prior to booking and from that moment i knew she was going to be in great hands. Paige sent adorable pics everyday and went above and beyond by with all the love and playtime, even added an egg to Gracie’s supper (something i mentioned i do at home but to keep things simple for Paige, i didn’t bring any). Upon pick up, Gracie was excited to see me but not over anxious to leave, this told me she was in amazing, loving hands all weekend. ❤️”

“Lauren and her family were awesome! Super flexible, great communication, and easy to work with. Our dogs came home happy and exhausted from all the fun. Would definitely go to them again with future needs. Thank you!”
“Michelle and her family are such a blessing for us. It’s so nice to know our fur babies will not only be well treated but will enjoy their time with her family. Thank you Michelle!”

“The dogs seemed so cozy in this home! Great communication from the sitter. We had no issues whatsoever. Very thankful that they had a comfortable place to stay while we were away!”

“Tracy was great to work with, very compassionate about her duty as a sitter and made Hank feel loved and appreciated!! I also appreciated that she was understanding about me being late for pickup as I am just getting settled into a new environment. I hope and look forward to using her again in the future!! Her darling Stella who is as well a Yorkie was just a cute girl. We loved Tracy!”

“Christina and her family were so great to my Junie! It was my first time using Rover, or having someone unrelated watch my girl so was super nervous. She answered my questions, sent pictures/videos and was great the whole time! Will use again and would recommend ☺️”

“Highly recommend Melissa. Her replies are quick, within moments, she cared for Addie for the day and I returned to a very calm happy pup. It was cute when we arrived her mini Aussie ran out to greet my dog and was very sweet and put us both at ease quickly. Will book again.”

“Mikayla was so kind when I had a family emergency and needed to leave town in a hurry. My puppy had a great time (she's told me all about it) and the family was really nice. ❤️”

“Jamie took in our Finn like one of her own! He loved her dogs and got on great. She was very flexible on drop off and pick up with helped us as travel issues came up for us!”

“Wonderful, wonderful dog sitter. She was totally committed to making Bella's stay a good one. Her dog turned out to be a great playmate. Bella comes on strong, not all dogs enjoy her. Highly recommend!”

“Melissa is absolutely fantastic!! We were new to Rover and we have a 7 month old puppy. We thought that no one would be willing to watch/take care of him while we were on vacation because he is still working on his potty training skills. Melissa welcomed us with open arms and took excellent care of our little Pip twice now. She sends us updates, pictures, videos and works with our time table on dropping off and picking up. We couldn’t be more happen with Pippen’s vaca-mom!”

“Melissa‘s kindness, sincerity, and genuine warmth shine through from the moment you meet her. Her home has that same welcoming energy –comfortable safe and full of thoughtful touches. The meat-and-greet Melissa offered before the stay was generous and reassuring, and Copper, her pup, was the perfect host - basically the mayor of hospitality town! He welcomed Peanut like an old friend and immediately showed her around. Melissa was flexible, thoughtful, and attentive, and she sent photos and videos throughout Peanut’s stay that absolutely made my day. Peanut came home ready for a nap, content, and clearly well-cared for - the Holy Trinity of a perfect pup vacation! Copper even taught Peanut how to go down the stairs, which definitely deserves its own merit badge. I am grateful for people like Melissa who create a safe, honest, and welcoming space for visiting pups. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for a thoughtful, trustworthy, and genuinely caring home for their dog. You almost want to ask if she offers human boarding too. Melissa is agem – five stars, many tail wags, and a standing ovation from Peanut.”

“We are very thankful for Angi. She took great care of our dog Ruby. She sent us daily updates and pictures. She has a wonderful place where Ruby could play outside. We will take our dog to Angi again for sure. Thank you!!”

“My Percy was in fantastic hands !!! Nyree took my reservation last minute so I could take a trip to Florida which I thought was very nice. Then I needed to stay in Florida for one extra day and again Nyree was happy to accommodate and help us out. Pictures of my happy puppy came in each evening which really made his mom Happy to know he was well taken care of. I highly recommend nyree and I will def book with her again 5/5”

“Thank you so much for being available on short notice and for all the great pictures of our pups! I am so sorry that Stevie got into the potatoes and toilet paper. I really appreciate you!!”

“Shayla is very responsive and great to work with. She treats your dog like one of her own. She has an awesome large fenced in back yard with so much space to play. I loved all the pictures and updates she sends. Will definitely be back for more stays!”

We appreciated the extra photos each day and the updates that she included. They were not surface level but gave a great feel as to how they were doing ❤️ Would definitely book with her again!”

About: I have been lucky enough to be surrounded by animals my entire life. I have experience with outdoor/indoor cats, kittens, and gradual introduction for new cats. I believe every cat has a unique personality and set of needs. I would love to get to know your furry friend and their preferences!
About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.

About: I’m a calm, nurturing, and reliable pet sitter who genuinely enjoys caring for animals of all kinds. I grew up with pets and currently have both a cat and a dog, so I understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone you trust!

“This was my first time using Rover and/or boarding our cat. Maria was so kind and thoughtful with answering all my questions and giving updates! Every picture she sent really showed how comfortable my cat was getting and that she was making sure to give him love and attention. We would absolutely use her again and recommend her to anyone.”

“Emma was absolutely amazing with my two cats while I was away for vacation! She was able to give my cat his inhaler and meds with ease. She was very responsive and sent lots of pictures, and left my apartment in great condition. Definitely recommend her for your furry babies!”

“Miss Madison is amazing! She took such great care of both my babies. She boarded my senior dog and did drop in visits on my cat. Madison also has a senior dog so it was nice for him to have a companion he could keep up with! She sent lots of pictures and updates during my trip that gave me the warm and fuzzies that my animals were in great care. I plan to book with her again soon! Thank you again Miss Madison!”

About: I’m a lifelong dog owner with extensive experience caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and needs. For six years, I fostered dogs ranging from tiny puppies to senior and special-needs dogs, giving me a deep understanding of different temperaments and care requirements. I also volunteered with the Humane Society for five years, including three years on the Board of Directors, which strengthened my commitment to animal welfare. At home, I currently have three dogs—a small, medium, and giant breed (English Mastiff!)—so I’m comfortable with everything from gentle companions to big, energetic pups. Your dog will be cared for with the same patience, attention, and love I give my own. I’ve structured my schedule specifically to be available for lunchtime drop-ins and walks during the week. This allows me to give dogs a reliable midday break when their owners can’t make it home. I also keep my weekends fully open, so I can provide flexible care, extra visits, or longer walks as needed. Caring for animals is a natural part of my daily life, and I’m happy to build my routine around giving pets the attention and consistency they deserve. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I follow your routine as closely as possible to keep your dog comfortable and stress-free. I make sure they get fresh water, a potty break, and any feeding or medications they need. I take the time to give them attention, playtime, and reassurance so they feel relaxed and safe while you’re away. I’m careful to respect your home, follow all instructions you provide, and keep things clean and tidy. I also send updates and photos so you always know how your pet is doing. My goal is to provide calm, consistent care that helps your pet feel secure in their familiar environment.

“Mikayla was so great with our cats, even when they got into trouble and made a mess. She sent us great photos and I'm confident that our cats were well cared for while we were gone!”

Family friends seek me out to take care of their dogs and cats when they need a well-deserved summer vacation. I am dedicated, patient, kind, and love meeting new pets! I work as a full-time teacher during the school year so during the Summer I have a large quantity of time I can dedicate to taking care of your animals. I will follow your instructions to the T and will give your puppy all the attention they are entitled too! Feel free to also ask me to water plants while you are away!

“Anna and her family are great! We used her daycare services while we had some work being done at our house and she was super flexible when we needed to adjust days last minute. Anna takes such good care of our pup, I highly recommend her!”

“Krysten and her family welcomed my boy into their home like he is/was their own. I know they were warm and loving to him and she sent me pictures to enjoy those moments. They have a nice fenced in yard and were inquisitive to his needs and requirements. I cannot say enough positive things about our interaction!! Definitely a return customer!!”

“Christina has a fantastic fenced in backyard and a very friendly dog. You can tell she enjoys interacting with the dogs too! She sent some videos and pics to let us know how they were doing. We can tell they had an absolute blast with her family! We barely made it in the door and they both flopped over from being tired! We will be definitely be repeat customers!! THANK YOU!!!!!”

“Jamie was very flexible with me and Ziggy! She took great care of my sweet baby, and put up with her chaos :) It was the first time leaving my fur baby alone and she gave me reassurance and comfort that she was in good hands.”

About: Hi everyone - I was a mom to older English Bulldogs who have recently passed and understand the need for a sitter at times. I used to use a dog sitter myself during the day and understand how hard it can be to get home sometimes! Now that my doggos are no longer with me, I would love to help you out. I work from home so can accept daycare or overnight boarding at my place. I live in a safe neighborhood and have a fenced in backyard for all of the potty breaks and I can also bring them on short walks if requested. I live in a zero-entry, one-level home with no steps which is great for pets with bad joints.
“Oliver loved being at Lauren and Corey’s house. They took great care of him and made our first experience with Rover wonderful. We will definitely be contacting them again when we need care for him in the future.”

“Mikayla was amazing with RJ. She communicated very well about the happenings with RJ. The daily pictures helped ease my mind that he really was on. Not that I ever had a doubt, but RJ does have an opinion of his own and will let you know all about it. Each day, he came home very tuckered out.”

About: Hi! My name is Melissa and I'm so happy to be here! I have 15 years of experience caring for and walking my own dogs, and sitting for friends and family. I know the importance of getting some exercise in for your fur friend, and how challenging it can be to find the time some days! So I am here to help, let me take care of that task for you! I enjoy walking and being outdoors and I'd love to have your pup accompany me! I also own my own home with a fully fenced in backyard, and I work full time from home, so if you need boarding or daycare services, my home would be great for you! I have two pups of my own that absolutely love other dogs, so if you are ok with that, we'd love to care for and keep your pup with us, too! I work from home full time, so it’s easy to attend to my pups (and yours!) during the workday. I can make a lunch hour walk or drop work easily. And afternoons and evenings are pretty open! I have a fully fenced in yard and I am able to let my dogs out as often as they need, and they would be perfect companions for your pups when staying here as well
About: Hi! I’m Stephanie, and I absolutely love pups! 🐾 I grew up with dogs and now have a 4-year-old staffy mix named Cricket and another who is 5 months old named Louie. They are both very friendly, loves other dogs, adore people, and usually becomes best friends with every dog who stays with us! We go to parks daily and love when new furry friends join us. I can keep your pup at my home during the day and accommodate any feeding or health needs. We get out at least twice a day, giving plenty of opportunity for exercise and playtime. Your dog will get lots of attention, socialization, and safe, monitored play. We also enjoy hikes and outdoor adventures! I drive a Subaru Forester, so there’s plenty of room to transport multiple dogs if your pup enjoys exploring. My pups are treat-motivated, and I’m happy to share treats with your dog if that’s something they enjoy—just let me know what works best for them. We’d love to meet your pup and make them feel part of our adventures here in Sioux Falls! I have a pup of my own that I take out hiking, running, or long walks daily. She loves other dogs and we would love to have yours tag along on our adventures or stay at home and play! My pup is free to roam around the house when I'm home or away. She also has a crate that she loves and is able to stay in there if that would make your dog more comfortable! My house is a dog friendly one with a unfenced yard that we are ablet to run and play in. I feed my dog twice a day and she is ok being fed around other dogs, but I am able to separate them during feeding time if that is necessary. My dog is also ok sharing toys so if yours enjoys playing with toys my dog would love to share what she has!
About: I work remotely so I’m home most of the day☺️ This allows me to give dogs plenty of attention, care, and supervision throughout the day! My husband and I are both dog lovers and have a dog of our own, Carter, a 9 y.o. black lab/blue heeler mix. She’s very friendly, easygoing, and gets along great with other dogs🐶 We don’t have kids, so our home is calm and quiet, and the dogs get lots of attention🥰 They’re welcome on the furniture if that’s what they’re used to at home, and we have a large fenced yard where they can safely run and play. We also live in a safe, dog-friendly neighborhood that’s perfect for regular walks! I’ll treat your pup like part of the family and do my BEST to make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re here🥰 Feel free to reach out with any questions about availability or how boarding/daycare works, I’m always happy to help!☺️ Because I work remotely, I’m home most of the day and able to give dogs lots of attention🥰 Walks and outdoor time are already a regular part of my day, so caring for dogs fits naturally into my routine I only take up to 2 dogs per day to keep things calm, comfortable, and low-stress for everyone. I treat every dog like family and work from home, so they get plenty of attention and supervision! My home is clean, pet-friendly, with a large fenced yard for safe playtime, and I always follow each dog’s routine to help them feel at ease🙂
About: Hi! I’m Chelsey — an interior designer by day with a lifelong soft spot for animals. If I hadn’t found my calling in design, I truly believe I would have pursued veterinary medicine. Animals have always been part of my world. I grew up around both cats and dogs and have over 15 years of experience pet-sitting for friends, family, and clients. My home is a very calm, grounded space, so I’m best suited for low to moderate-energy pets who enjoy a slower pace, gentle walks, and lots of presence. My puppy Nova plays well with other dogs and I'd love to have friends over for her during the day as I work from home with a close eye! Spending time with animals feels genuinely nourishing to me, and caring for yours would be something I do with a lot of intention and love. Because my home has carpet and an Airbnb guest suite above me, I’m best matched with pets who are past the puppy stage to teach mine good manners lol, are house-trained, and not prone to frequent barking — especially in response to normal household sounds like people walking. Creating a peaceful environment is important to me and helps pets feel relaxed and secure while they’re here. I enjoy walking in all seasons, maintaining consistent routines, and creating a space where animals feel safe, calm, and cared for. While you’re away, you can rest easy knowing your pet will be treated as if they’re my own. Caring for your animal would truly be my pleasure 🤍 — Chelsey Aside from Mondays being 9-hour days at work, I am home the majority of the week which is perfect for walks, attentiveness and allowing potty breaks in my fenced backyard. For boarding and daycare, I provide a calm, consistent routine so pets feel safe and settled. I follow your pet’s normal feeding schedule while offering plenty of companionship, gentle movement, and rest. My home is best suited for low to moderate-energy pets, and I adjust activities based on their needs to keep them comfortable, relaxed, and well cared for. :)
“Emily and her pups were amazing sitters for our boy Sonoma today! We were nervous about leaving him with someone for the first time but after chatting with Emily and meeting her and her 2 dogs for a few minutes the day before the planned sitting…we were totally confident that he was in good hands. Emily is such a kind hearted person with a genuine love for dogs and it shows in her care for her own. Sonoma immediately warmed up to her and the 3 puppies were able to have a great time together. She was considerate of our routine/habits and sent pictures all day long, which we were so thankful to have! Sonoma didn’t want to leave Emily’s house and even sat in protest on her porch. We would absolutely love/plan to use Emily again and would recommend her to anyone looking for fantastic care in Paradise!”

“We had a great experience! Melissa watched our dog for a few hours, and everything went smoothly. Communication was easy, she was friendly and reliable, and our dog was well cared for.”

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs over the years. I have done overnights, check-ins, and dog walking. I have a family dog named Splash who is my whole world, and I have recently moved away and don’t get to see her as often. I work from home on Tuesdays and Fridays, so I can be with your dog all day on those days. Otherwise I work 9-5 on Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday to be with them before work, after work, and during lunch. I am also free most weekends. I would prefer to take care of your pet in your home since I have an apartment but if needed they can stay with me.

About: I've been caring for dogs and cats since I was a child. Growing up, my family had several dogs, including a Shih Tzu, two Shiba Inus, and a Newfoundland, giving me experience with pets of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I also grew up with a Persian cat, whom I helped care for from a young age. These experiences taught me how to provide loving, attentive, and reliable care while adapting to each pet's unique needs. I also volunteer at the Sioux Falls Area Humane Society and participate in their Rescue Day Recess! I currently attend the University of South Dakota and work part-time at Sanford Hospital in Sioux Falls. My schedule gives me flexibility throughout the week to check in on pets, take dogs for walks, provide playtime, feed them, and make sure they're happy and comfortable while you're away. Whether your pet needs a quick potty break, a long walk, or some extra attention during the day, I'm committed to providing dependable, loving care that fits their routine. I have watched 2 Shiba Inus by myself for over a year and have taken care of a Newfoundland for multiple nights. Neither of the homes had a fence but I compensate by taking the dogs out multiple times a day and going for walks. I’m very familiar with taking dogs out to relieve themselves, feeding, and possible medications they might need to take. Whether the dog is energetic, like my 2 Shiba Inus, or more relaxed, like my 10 year old Newfoundland, I make it work according to their needs.

I also LOVE a good game of fetch or tug! Myself at home I have 2 wild dogs that always need to move around ;)

Not only that, pet sitting in your house creates a calmer and safer environment for your pets, as well as keeping your home safe and occupied. I am semi retired. I have a lot of time to spend with your pets in your home ensuring several potty breaks, play and exercise. I will care for your pets as if they are my own. I follow instructions left by the owner and will ensure play and exercise
About: What sets me apart from other sitters is that I work from home full time. This gives me the flexibility to be there for your pup throughout the day while still managing my workload responsibly. Your dog will enjoy having someone around to give them attention, playtime, and the personal care they deserve! Working from home makes pet care easy for me to fit in, since I can handle walks, feeding, and playtime during breaks while still giving the pets constant supervision without disrupting my work. I live in a one-bedroom apartment where I can host pets, and I’m also able to provide walks and potty breaks. I’m flexible and always open to clear communication with owners.
About: I’ve had large and small dogs in my house all my life so i’ve been comfortable taking care of neighbor’s dogs and houses for any period of time. I’m comfortable with large and small breeds and many different energy level requirements. I had been previously nannying but now have a full schedule for pet care needs! Weekdays and weekends all the same, days or times i’m not available will be updated as soon as possible. Fenced in yard or not the animals will have plenty of potty breaks and walks. During my days I will have errands and events but can spend plenty of downtime and cuddle with the pets. I have no problem crating them when gone if needed and can stay on schedule with given feeding times.
“We have been using Zach to walk our dog for the past couple months. Very respectful, polite, and keeps me updated with all the bookings. Excellent at responding and extremely trustworthy. We will continue to book- very happy customers!! :)”

About: I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life and love them to death! I enjoy caring for animals or even just keeping them entertained while their humans are away! Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine because I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals. I work in healthcare, so I value responsibility, reliability, and keeping a consistent schedule. On my days off and outside of work hours, I have plenty of time to dedicate to pet sitting, drop-in visits, and walks.I’m happy to work with pet owners to find times that fit their pet’s routine and needs. Whether your pet needs a walk, playtime, feeding, or just some extra company, I make sure they get the attention and care they deserve. Safety and trust are very important to me when caring for someone’s pet. I always make sure to follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any specific instructions the owner provides. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their personality, comfort level, and any special needs they may have. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat their space with respect and make sure their pet feels safe and comfortable in their familiar environment. I pay close attention during walks, keep pets securely leashed when needed, and make sure doors and gates are always properly closed. I also believe communication is very important, so I am happy to send updates and photos to keep owners informed and give them peace of mind while they are away.

“I can’t say thank you enough to Marnie and Jeffery! ❤️ This was our first time using rover (we don’t leave our dogs much) and it was an amazing experience! They loved on Murphy extra on his birthday with pup cups, party hats, and treats. I’d be lying if I said my eyes didn’t water seeing those pictures 🥹 We have a few more weddings this year and I’m crossing my fingers they’ll take Murphy and Nala for a few more overnights because I know they’ll be safe and loved! What more could you want?❤️”

“Jessie had the best time!! Amber sent updated photos on a routine basis, let me know how Jesse was doing, and was great at responding. She and her husband are super great! 10/10 will be using again. :)”

“Our girls were so happy staying with Josie! I loved getting daily updates and seeing how much they got to play outside and see their big smiles playing with Josie’s dog. Josie was very understanding and had great communication when we had to make some last minute changes to the beginning of their stay. We are so thankful for Josie!”
