“I’m so glad we booked Fritz’s first boarding with Larysa. Since he’s still young, we were nervous about leaving him, even for a day, but Larysa made the experience great for him and us. We had to book a last minute boarding, but she was super accommodating and kind about it. She kept us updated with photos the whole time, and we could see Fritz was really being loved and cared for. By the time we picked him up, he was super comfortable there and seemed to absolutely love Larysa’s sweet older dog, Carter! About: I grew up on a hobby farm with almost any critter you could imagine. We used our space to foster and rehabilitate animals, mostly dogs, cats, and horses. Through working with local humane societies, animal trainers, and breeders I think I have a very good understanding of animal behaviors and how to manage them. Working with animals has been a soul salve in my life and I love guiding animals through all stages of learning. I have slots of time all throughout my week where I am available to walk and check in on pets. Sunday is a free day. Monday and Tuesday I am free after 12, Wednesday-Friday I am free 6am-12, 5pm throughout the evening. Unfortunately at this moment I do not have a space that would allow to to board pets, but I am able to care for pets in their own homes. I am very communicative and I will work with you on your pet's specific needs and requirements, as well as any enrichment activities you would like to try.
About: I have had dogs my entire adult life, up to 7 at one time, including a husky. I now only have 1, since I had to move and left the rest with my old roommate (some were his anyway, and I took the one that had chosen me as his human). Every dog I've ever had was properly trained to at least sit on command - with or without a treat. When I had the 7, I could have the pack surround me, and call them one by one for their treat, and only the one called would reach. People have watched my dog's behavior out in public and have aske if I could train their dogs! I have no formal training for dog training, but I did grow up watching Caesar on Animal Planet, and implemented his behavior training techniques with all of my own dogs when they were puppies, or from the time I accepted them in as strays. I have cared for others pets in the past, but not in a professional capacity. I sat for a friend of mine at her house, caring for 3 dogs and a cat. I fed the cat in the morning and at night and cleaned her litter box once a day. The dogs got fed on the same schedule, and spent the majority of the day outside in the fenced back yard unless it was raining. I went outside and threw balls and sticks for them a few times each day, for about an hour or so each time. I currently do not have a job, so I am available full time, any day or time. I have my own dog who prefers to not let me out of his sight, and will cry if I leave him at home alone, so getting a traditional job while living in an apartment is out of the question. With that said, I would need to bring him with me. He is going on 10 years old, and has never met a dog or person he didn't love. I am glad to bring him for a meet and greet before any commitments are made. Every dog has a way to let you know they need something. My dog prefers to attempt cuddles when he needs anything, leaving me playing a guessing game until I get it right. He gets super excited when I get it right! As a senior dog, I leave his food out 24/7, and check it in the mornings when I get up and at night when I go to bed to make sure it's not empty. If I notice that it's empty at any point during the day, I simply refill it. Same with his water. His potty schedule is pretty much the same - first thing in the morning, any time he asks during the day, and then one last trip out at bedtime. I know not every dog can follow this schedule, but I have also had dogs who needed me to set alarms to take them out every hour or two, until they were properly house trained. All I need from you is your dogs schedule.
About: I have had multiple dogs, young and old, throughout my life. I’ve had a Shih Tzu, golden lab, fostered multiple pit bulls, and currently have two cats at home. I am comfortable with both high energy and high maintenance dogs, and am able to run with a dog who can’t seem to walk at a normal pace. About: I provide loving, attentive care for dogs in the Sioux Falls area and have years of experience caring for my family’s and relatives’ dogs while they’re on vacation. Your pup will be treated like part of the family in a safe, comfortable home environment. My home features a fully fenced backyard, upper and lower living levels, and one of my favorite (and most dogs’ favorite!) features—a full glass sunroom that overlooks the backyard. It’s the perfect spot for dogs to relax, soak up the sun, and keep an eye out for rabbits and other wildlife. I have a 1.5-year-old chiweenie named Copper who is very active, friendly, and gets along well with all dogs. Before Copper, I had my chug, Kewley, for 16.5 wonderful years, so I’m experienced with dogs of all ages. Copper is crate trained and is crated during short outings like when I attend church. Weather permitting, we go on daily walks, and your dog will be welcome to join us! For long term stays, we may also enjoy visiting small dog parks almost daily to burn off energy and have fun. My goal is to make every dog feel safe, loved, and right at home while you’re away. I work from home full-time, so pets get plenty of attention, regular potty breaks, and companionship throughout the day. Weather permitting we will go on walks and possibly the dog park if all parties are ok with that. I will send daily pics/videos throughout the stay. Some photos may be consider professional portraits :) I live alone with my ChiWeenie Copper as mentioned. My neighborhood is full of dogs and the people are friendly. Overall, it is a quiet neighborhood on a quiet street. Pets can be crated at anytime if owner prefers. I plan on not having more than 3-4 dogs at a time. Small-Medium size dogs only.

“Grace is the BEST! She was my regular dog walker. She was very responsive and helped me get all the schesuling in the app. My dog, who can be timid with strangers, loves her. My schedule changed every week and she was always flexible. When I would get called for extra shifts, she would do her best to add the days to her schedule. I wish she was still in my area. She would still be my #1 dog walker. Can't say enough good things about her!!!”

We have had dogs in our home until this year, and have experience with all kinds and sizes of dogs. We are very experienced with positive reinforcement and fear-free methods. We have an English Angora rabbit, so are experienced with rabbits and can provide drop-in service for small animals as well as dogs and cats. I work as a registered nurse very part time, and homeschool my two children. We are often home, and are not usually away from the house for more than 4-6 hours. We have a large, fenced-in yard, and are able and willing to bring your dog on walks around our neighborhood. I have two responsible children at home, ages 9 and 12, and they are experienced with dogs and have been involved with care and training. We can accommodate all kinds of needs. As a registered nurse, I am trustworthy and responsible, and am very experienced with following a care plan and providing detailed updates. I am comfortable with both high energy and high maintenance dogs, and am able to run with a dog who can’t seem to walk at a normal pace. Currently, I have two cats and a bunny, giving me background on the best care for any other pet needs! I am currently working part-time remotely, making my work schedule very convenient for any sitting needs. I am a full-time student at USD, pursing Finance, where I have classes only on Tuesdays, Thursdays from 9:00-1:45 p.m. Because I live in a town home complex that is unfenced, and have two cats at home, I am unable to sit at my location.
