About: I have always loved pets. Throughout my entire life, I have had both cats and dogs, and recently my family adopted a gecko from my stepsister. Pets have always been the center of my day, and I always look forward to seeing my little fur-babies, and taking care of them. With this I have been referred to many family friends to extend the love and care I have for my babies onto their babies. I will always take care of your fur-babies as I would my own. I also am very good at giving pets medicine, as I have done it for a few years now. I am a full time college student at UNI, and I love taking care of animals. About: Hey I'm Syd! I'm a recent UNI graduate with degrees in Criminal Justice + Public Administration. During this season of life I’ve been able to embrace two of my favorite things: pet care + travel! As an avid traveler myself, I recognize the importance of trustworthy pet care. This is why I prioritize honest and reliable communication with pet owners. Going into my last year of college, I launched an in-home pet sitting business serving the Cedar Valley called Traveling Tails Pet Sitting. Traveling Tails allowed me to grow my own pet care experience and also mentor the 6 other sitters that make up our amazing team! One of my most rewarding pet care experiences was when I stayed with a very timid rescue dog named Coco. Coco was very untrusting at first and would not let me near her. However after giving her time and building trust by hand feeding her, we quickly became friends. I loved watching Coco break out of her shell and feel right at home until her family returned! I’m in a transitional season of life at this time which has allowed me to collaborate with owners to create the best schedule for their pets and their needs. I've lived in the same neighborhood for almost my whole life and feel very comfortable taking strolls around the neighborhood. My mom works from home and is almost always around. About: I grew up with dogs and love them! I am a current dog mom to a spunky 3 year old golden retriever. We spent two years training him in home and out. I am currently a work from home employee so I am happy to let the pups out at any time of the day and can walk them after work. I have a decent sized fenced in back yard for the dogs to play in! About: I’ve spent my entire life surrounded by furry family members. I’ve had a variety of different dog breeds — especially those labeled “aggressive.” Because of this, I know every dog has a story and is capable of love regardless of how they’re stereotyped. All animals deserve the same love and kindness as I would give to my very own. I have some experience volunteering at my local humane society & dog sitting for family members & friends. I have no problem tailoring to your animals’ needs and I will treat them with the same love, respect, and adoration that I have for my own fur babies. During the school year my schedule can be a bit hectic with classes and work; however, I can easily move around my schedule and fit in time to care for your pet. If you are willing to be flexible with time, I can easily squeeze you in! If we cannot arrange something, I will be sure to let you know as soon as possible to allow time to find another sitter/ walker. About: I have worked in many different aspects of caring for animals, from shelters, to a boarding facility. I also volunteer for an animal shelter. I pet sit for friends often and love to do it!! About: I have been watching pets since I was 10 and and I am very responsible. Plus I have my own pets I take care of. I’m free whenever to watch your pet just please give me a few days in advance.
