“Sarah and her daughter were so kind and nice to work with! They took on Henry last minute so that I could make some travel plans, and were really patient with my late night pick-up. They were so kind and Henry had a great time. We would highly recommend sending your pup to spend some time with them!”

“Angela was very nice and her dog was the sweetest doggy. Both of them greeted our Jessie as long lost relative, made him feel welcome. Our old dog was happy, had good time staying with them. We got updates with pictures. Angela even baked some yummy doggy treats and sent Jessie home with a goody.”

“Mya was very friend when I first reached out to her. She came to our home to meet our dog prior to any booking. Last week our dog had his first stay with Mya and I'm very happy to say he was well cared for and very much enjoyed his stay. We plan to use Mya for many future boarding plans.”

“She is a really good host. Right from the start itself their dog and our dog connected as they both are of same breed. She was really caring and gave us intermittent updates as well with photos and text of how our dog was doing. Her whole family got connected to our dog really well and provided a homely feeling for our dog. Will definitely recommend them and will like to rover with them again.”

“We just met Cassandra, and we couldn't have asked for a better person to care for our sweet 16-year-old three-legged pup during the four days we were away. Caring for a senior dog takes someone with a truly special heart, and Cassandra was exactly that. From our very first conversations, her thoughtful, responsive communication gave us complete confidence that we had chosen the right person. When we dropped Lily off, Cassandra had a calm, reassuring presence, that again, gave us complete peace of mind that Lily was in capable hands. Throughout the stay, we could tell Cassandra paid close attention to Lily’s unique needs and cared for her with the same love, compassion, and respect we do. It's clear that she genuinely loves animals and takes the responsibility of caring for them seriously. We are so grateful for the exceptional care Cassandra provided and wouldn't hesitate to trust her again with Lily. If you're looking for someone who is truly devoted to your pet's well-being, Cassandra is the perfect choice. We recommend her wholeheartedly!”

“We had a wonderful experience with Ruth on Rover! She was able to take our dog, Millie, on very short notice, which we really appreciated. From the moment we dropped Millie off, Ruth made us feel comfortable and confident that Millie was in great hands. Millie clearly had a great time during her stay. Ruth took excellent care of her and made sure she felt right at home. We really appreciated the photos Ruth sent while we were away—it was great to see how happy and comfortable Millie was. It looked like Millie had a blast going on walks and even getting to enjoy some car rides. We’re very grateful that Ruth was able to help us out with a last-minute booking and provide such great care. We would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for someone reliable and caring to watch their dog, and we would gladly book with her again!”

About: Leaving your dog with someone else can be stressful, but our goal is to make their stay feel like a fun, comfortable vacation rather than time away from home! We are lifelong animal lovers and have cared for pets of all kinds —from dogs and cats to fish, turtles, guinea pigs, and just about anything in between. Over the years, friends, family, and neighbors have continually trusted my wife and I to care for their beloved pets, and we truly enjoy having animals as part of our family. We board only one family’s dog(s) at a time, so your pup gets plenty of personalized attention rather than being one of many dogs competing for care. Our four children, ages 8–13, are also huge animal lovers and are always excited to provide extra attention, affection, and playtime. With six people in our household, your dog will have plenty of companionship and will quickly feel like part of the family. We live on a 4-acre property that gives your dog plenty of space to enjoy new sights, sounds, and smells. For safety, exploring the property is done on leash, and the abundant wildlife in the area provides plenty of interesting things for curious noses to investigate! Your dog will be walked at least once in the morning and once in the evening, with bathroom breaks every 2–4 hours or as needed. During the week, my wife and I have the ability to work from home, allowing us to provide care and companionship throughout the day. We understand that every dog has their own routine and personality, and we’ll do our best to maintain their normal schedule and make them feel comfortable during their stay. We do require dogs to be potty trained and have no history of aggression. We also ask that dogs be trained not to chew on household items or other non-toy objects. We completely understand that puppies are still learning, though, and we’re happy to work with them and provide the patience and supervision they need! Most importantly, we want you to feel confident and comfortable while your dog is in our care. We’re happy to learn about your dog’s personality, routines, favorite activities, and any special quirks that will help us give them the best possible stay. We look forward to meeting you and your pup and welcoming them into our home! When your dog stays with us, they won’t just be a guest—they’ll be part of our family No matter what our day looks like, there is always someone available to provide the attention and consistency of car for your dog(s), which is the number one priority. We also have a furnished basement that can be closed off if needed. Or a quiet capped garage and workshop room depending on the sleeping arrangements your dog is accustomed to. If you could please let me know of any special needs your dog may require or want.
“Erika was wonderful taking care of our Lance during the holiday. We would have loved to take him with us, but it is too stressful for Lance. Lance was very happy to stay with Erika as she has a pup of her own. Yay for a playmate!”

“We always know Charlie is in good hands when we leave him with Karen! We pick him up freshly bathed and he has so much fun in the photos we received. So grateful Karen was available over our a Christmas vacation so we had a trusting kennel to bring him to!”

“Tammy and her family are awesome. Our guy had a nice big fenced in yard to run around in and he had plenty of attention and playtime. Communication with her is quick and easy. She is also very good about asking for info on my dog when she needed something and giving us an update as the day went on. Definitely planning to rebook with Tammy.”

“Taylor was great about communicating with us about the day and pick up times. We felt super comfortable leaving Bear and Winnie with her, and they must’ve had a great day playing because they both slept GREAT last night!! We’d definitely use Taylor again!! Thanks so much!”

“Mya knows dogs! She was wonderful for watching our Lance for the 2nd time. We look forward to booking with her again. Lance seemed pleased with his "puppy playdate"as well.”

“Our dog Oliver had his first Rover experience two days ago. It couldn’t have been any better. Angy has a little 5 lb dog so the two dogs played and cuddled all day. Angy and her husband showed genuine concern for our dog’s well being. Oliver came home a very happy and tired dog. Finding Angy was a big blessing.”

About: Nestled in the quiet countryside, I offer loving, in-home boarding for dogs and cats in a peaceful, natural setting. With plenty of fresh air, daily walks, and attentive care, your pets are treated like family while they’re away from home. Able to care for animals at all stages in their life. I love taking long walks with canine companions! Your dogs will not be unleashed on a walk unless your specify! A client’s cat or dog fits naturally into my daily routine because their care is built around their needs, not a rigid schedule. Each day follows a calm, predictable flow—morning feedings, medications if needed, fresh air, walks or supervised outdoor time for dogs, and quiet check-ins or play for cats—mirroring what they’re used to at home as closely as possible. Throughout the day, I weave in one-on-one attention, enrichment, rest, and observation, so pets aren’t just “fit in,” but thoughtfully included in a rhythm that keeps them comfortable, engaged, and well cared for from morning to night. Tailoring your services starts with seeing each pet as an individual, not a “one-size-fits-all” guest. Begin with a detailed intake or meet-and-greet to learn the pet’s routine, personality, energy level, medical needs, fears, and preferences. From there, you can adjust care in a few key ways: • Routine-based care: Match feeding times, walk schedules, playtime, and sleep habits as closely as possible to what the pet is used to at home. • Personality-aware handling: Offer extra quiet and space for shy or senior pets, more structured play and exercise for high-energy dogs, and gentle, low-stress interactions for anxious animals. • Health-focused support: Follow specific instructions for medications, mobility limits, special diets, or senior care, and keep careful notes so nothing is missed. • Environment choices: Decide whether a pet thrives with social interaction or prefers solo time, indoor lounging, or outdoor exploration in your country setting.
