About: I have had dogs all my life. I have had big dogs and small dogs. I have done training with my current dog and she is a great emotional support animal. I work until 2 so I have time late afternoon and evenings to go for walks and extra time on the weekends to walk and play with pups. I have a big yard that my dog loves to play in. We love to spend time outside and sometimes we go out on the front deck. I love to go for walks and play with my dog.

About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. I currently work full time from home so doggie day care is definitely doable! My day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends have potential as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! If you request that I come to your house I am very reliable, responsible and respectful. I can guarantee a boat load of scritches and belly rubs as well as time for “business”.

About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. About: My family had dogs growing up so I have some experience walking and playing with dogs. I also have had my cats for about 7 years. “We went to do a meet and greet with Shea a few weeks before Maisy stayed with Sheas family. The house was well kept and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. We will be making arrangements with Shea in the future for additional stays with Shea and her family. I could tell that Maisy felt very comfortable with them by how well she ate her food while staying with them. I highly recommend giving Shea the opportunity to care for you pet.”
