About: Hi, I'm Emily! I'm not just a dog lover - I've been a dog mom to just about every size and personality. Over the years I've had my own Chihuahuas, Labs, Olde English Bulldogs, American Staffordshires, and American Bullies. So I’m very comfortable with strong, energetic breeds as well as tiny lap dogs who think they run the house. I particularly love the bully breeds - no judgment, just structure, play, and lots of affection. I know how to read body language for both a nervous 4lb Chihuahua and an 80lb Lab who thinks they’re a lap dog. I’ve cared for a dog who required a strict daily medication routine, so I am meticulous about timing, dosages, and watching for side effects. Pills, liquid meds, special feeding schedules - I’ve done it all and I take it seriously. My home is calm with a structured routine. My husband and I are early to bed and early to rise. I keep a clean but dog-proofed home with a predictable routine for potty breaks, walks, play, and rest. We walk in the mornings and sometimes again in the evening if the weather allows. I only book one client at a time so your pup(s) will get plenty of attention! I promise to send lots of updates, photos, and videos so you never worry. Your pup will be treated like family here - safe, loved, allowed on the couch and in the bed and very well cared for while you're away. I have a securely fenced yard and take daily walks in my neighborhood for exercise. Inside, dogs have plenty of places to lounge, with dog beds, toys, and a quiet areas for naps. My home is non-smoking, no kids with one American Bully named Rosco. Rosco is neutered, two years old, about 80 lbs and loves other dogs. Rosco is a high energy dog who does best with dogs who are playful but also tolerant. Rosco also does great with smaller dogs and puppies. I am open to dogs over 40lbs but not more than 60lbs. I never leave dogs unattended for long without them being kenneled. I am home most of the day but utilize kennels when we’re gone for everyone’s safety. We follow a twice a day feeding schedule and I will gladly follow your instructions to the letter for feeding, crate time, and walks. I’m currently between jobs and have plenty of time for pet care. My husband works during the week and is around in the evenings and the weekends to help care for our pups. I have a fenced in yard a very friendly bulldog named Rosco to keep your pup company. I can also crate your pup if needed.

About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. I currently work full time from home so doggie day care is definitely doable! My day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends have potential as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! If you request that I come to your house I am very reliable, responsible and respectful. I can guarantee a boat load of scritches and belly rubs as well as time for “business”.

About: I've personally had many dogs of different sizes and energies, including a Border Collie, Boxer, American Bulldog. I have experience in training (reward training). I am capable of basic grooming, including nails. The Tibetan Spaniel listed on my profile is actually my daughter's dog and he is only at my home during college breaks, otherwise, they are in Ohio the rest of the year Think of your dog's stay at my house as a vacation at Grandma's. Your dog will be spoiled to the extent that YOU allow (and maybe a tennsy bit more). 😉 I mostly work from home with occasional short stints in a workplace and a very flexible schedule. I can be home at any time to ensure that dogs can potty, get playtime, etc. I never work on the weekends. I have a half acre of flat, safe, fenced in yard with grass and gardens. About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! About: My family had dogs growing up so I have some experience walking and playing with dogs. I also have had my cats for about 7 years. About: I grew up always having cats and being a total cat lady, however after bringing home my first dog ever I realized how much I absolutely love and adore dogs! I have experience with having a dog of my own (sadly he went on to the rainbow bridge), plus caring for my sisters dog who I jokingly say is my part time dog. “Rebekah was absolutely wonderful with my dog! My dog is special needs and a nervous nelly about nearly everything. I was the typical nervous parent, leaving her with someone new for the first time. Poof settled in so fast, and Rebekah did a great job with all of her needs! Her dogs are friendly, and gave Poof some canine companionship while we were away. To be honest, I don’t think she missed us at all! Rebekah checked in, sent photos, and made me feel super safe leaving Poof in her hands. If I ever need a sitter again, I certainly know who I’m going to! ❤️”

“We have an incredibly shy dog. He is very leery of people and we have tended to not board him. Osvaldo and his family were AMAZING with our dog. They were petting him, he was sleeping at their feet, and they were taking him for walks in the park--something he never does well. We loved all the updates, his home was set up for taking care of dogs, and he had other dogs to play with while we were gone--something he loves. I think Osvaldo is a dog whisperer. Magic--sheer magic! Even our dog trainer couldn't get these results from him. We are forever indebted and will use him again!”

About: Hello! I am an avid dog and cat lover. I often watch my family and friends pets but aside from that I managed a cageless doggy daycare for 3 years. I own two senior cats myself. I am attentive and flexible. Always available to do meet and greet in person or over the phone prior to my services <3 helps me and your animals get an acquainted! I currently own my own business that allows me plenty of free time. I’m available most days and nights on short notice. Happy to accommodate any schedule. I do travel out of state quite a bit for my job but I will let you know immediately if my schedule were to change. I have first hand experience in handling all sizes of dogs and temperaments. Including training with dog aggressive dogs. I have experience in administering meds and first aid for both cats & dogs.

“Kelsey was FANTASTIC with Sadie. She took the time to get to know Sadie before bringing her into her home. She made sure that she knew everything that Sadie may need or if there are any concerns that I had. She also took Sadie last minute which was super great for me. During Sadie’s stay, she sent me multiple videos and pictures which really helped me feel at ease, leaving my pup in her care. She’s very communicative and let I know what Sadie was doing throughout the day and when she was going for walks and how much she was eating. Sadie was very tired after her stay and I know that she enjoyed hanging out with Kelsey and her pup. We will absolutely be using her again in the future.”
“Jessica took care of my dog Iommi for a long weekend while I traveled out of state for my brother's wedding. It was my first time leaving Iommi and Jessica was the perfect person to leave her with. I was admittedly anxious about leaving Iommi for the first time, but as soon as I arrived the morning of drop-off Jessica made me feel 100% at ease. She took care of Iommi like she was her own and I know Iommi had a great time staying with Jessica and her family and playing with her dog Rip.
