About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! About: I’m a dog owner of two and have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of needs and energy levels. While I don’t offer in-home boarding, I provide reliable walks and drop-in visits to keep your pet happy and comfortable in their own space. I’m attentive, patient, and treat every pet like my own—with consistent updates while you’re away. I’m currently working part-time and will have plenty of time to play with your pups. Caring for pets fits easily into my daily and weekly routine since I already care for my own two dogs. I’m used to planning my days around walks, feeding schedules, and playtime, so adding additional visits is something I genuinely enjoy. I stay organized and make sure each pet gets reliable, consistent care and attention. I care for pets in their home by keeping them on their normal routine so they feel safe and comfortable. I provide walks, feeding, fresh water, playtime, and lots of attention based on their needs and energy level. I’m attentive to behavior and make sure they’re safe at all times. I also send regular updates and photos so you can feel at ease while you’re away.
About: I graduated from the University of Minnesota and currently have a flexible schedule, which allows me to take on dog-sitting opportunities. I’ve spent my entire life around dogs of all breeds and sizes, and many people in my life would call me the biggest dog lover they know. My family has always had dogs, and they currently have three: Zoey, a 2-year-old Rat Terrier, Rocky, a 4-year-old Lab, and Bella, a 9-year-old Rat Terrier. As a dog sitter, I take pride in creating a safe, fun, and caring environment for every dog I look after. I want them to feel comfortable, happy, and loved while their owners are away! I have a flexible schedule and am available for pet care. I enjoy spending time with dogs of all breeds and focus on providing attentive, reliable care so they feel comfortable while you’re away. I’m familiar with bathroom routines, feeding schedules, and making sure pets get the right balance of play and rest. I understand how important consistency is and can be trusted to administer medications on time when needed. I also have experience with special needs pets, including caring for a blind dog in my own family for many years. I’m patient, attentive, and focused on creating a safe, comfortable environment where every pet feels secure and well cared for.

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have over 7 years of hands-on pet care experience. Growing up with dogs taught me how to understand their different personalities and needs. I also have a Shih Tzu of my own, so I know how important it is to provide pets with love, patience, and a safe environment. In addition, I’ve cared for my sister’s dogs, helping with feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and making sure they feel comfortable while she’s away. I understand that every dog is unique, and I’ll treat your pet with the same love and care I give my own. You can count on me to provide reliable, attentive, and compassionate care while you’re away. I currently work part-time at a daycare, which has helped me become responsible, patient, and dependable. I’m fully available on Thursdays and Fridays, and I’m available Monday through Wednesday after 8:00 p.m. I’m hoping to make pet care my full-time career through Rover, so I’m committed to providing reliable, loving, and attentive care for every pet.
