“Katrina kept our two boys in her home for several days while were out of the country and we cannot recommend her highly enough. We visited her home twice before our trip and felt very reassured. While we were away, she was in regular communication and sent lots of photos. One of our guys has a recurring eye issue and it flared up badly while we were away. Katrina took great care of him. She took him to our vet and administered his medications. We were very worried about him and are so grateful to Katrina's family for taking such great care of him. I'd booked the incorrect dates and Katrina was flexible, making arrangements to extend our reservation. Katrina provided us (and our boys) an exceptional experience. About: I am a homeschool mom. I have had several dogs over the last 26 years from blue heelers, labradors, a lab/dane mix and most recently an Australian Shepherd. I've house-broken and crate trained all my puppies and we also adopted an adult rescue dog and acclimated him to family life. I've taken different obedience courses over the years and most recently am working on Rally Obedience with my aussie. My family, which includes my husband and two teenage daughters love dogs of all sizes and ages. I’ve got a very large fenced in back yard, a fun loving Aussie, and am home most of the time to give your fur baby lots of love and attention. I have recent experience in dog obedience and have house-trained puppies. I love to walk dogs and give them lots of attention. Because I homeschool, most days I am home and able to attend to dog or puppy care. Our two year old Aussie loves to play with other dogs and has earned his CGC-A. Backyard play or leash walking would be part of your pets care. On occasion we may go to a park and our dog often accompanies us. I have a large fenced in yard with lots of shade and green space to run around in. I have crates of various sizes to keep your dog safe and comfortable at night, when we leave for an errand or to retreat to as needed.

About: I have had pets in my life since the day I was born. I got my first cat when I was 3 and have had many more since then. :) Caring for my pets has become something that I have worked on and improved over the years - and I love meeting new pets! About: I have personally had a pet or 3 since I was 13 years old. I begged for a cat for years and once I got one, I never have been without at least one pet. I have been volunteering with the ARL since 2005. I have had 30+ foster dogs through them as well. I just love animals. I do have weekends blocked but just ask about availability! I am retired. I enjoy going for walks with dogs and depending on the dog spending time outside in my fenced in backyard. I have a 6 foot fence. Your dog will have the ability to be part of our family and our family pets are on our furniture. We do separate our home animals, fosters and house guests at night. The "regulars" get to sleep in our beds while our guests get other accommodations. It makes for better harmony for us. Because we foster on a regular basis our animals are very used to different dogs coming into our home. Our home is pretty quiet and relaxing.
About: I’ve taken care of fur babies of all kinds since before I could walk. I grew up with a dog and cat always in tow. I lived in the country, so learned fast that the world can be hard for an animal, thus beginning my rehab ‘career’. As I got older, I pet sat for neighbors and family friends. In my mid 20s I trained as a vet tech, prepping animals for surgery, giving vaccinations, nail trims, etc. Until the ISU Wildlife Clinic closed, I volunteered there, learning more care for wild native animals. I currently have a senior border collie named Lola, she has arthritis so sometimes she needs help getting around and I’m always willing to help my girl. I also have a senior cat. Currently I’m a doordash/grub hub driver, so I literally am free 24/7 to care for your pets! I will prioritize Rover over delivery, so I can work with any schedule you need. I’m available for repeat needs (several walks a week, drop ins, etc). I live in a duplex with a yard. For me to board a pet, they would need to get along with my dog, and she can honestly be a bit grumpy meeting new dogs, so I feel going to the client’s home would be best. About: Spending time and interacting with animals has always been a passion of mine. I feed my dogs twice a day. They enjoy laying around the house being lazy. Going to the dog park to play with others is always fun too!!! We also enjoy walking
About: I've taken care of all different breeds and sizes of dogs my whole life. I've watched pets for friends, family and neighbors overnight or just for quick walks. I currently work in an animal shelter where I take care of 30+ dogs a day with walks, feeding and playtime. I currently work full time between two jobs, but I work to make my schedule flexible. I'm mostly available in afternoons and mornings, though my schedule varies from week to week. I currently live alone in a four bedroom apartment surrounded by lots of open fields and nearby beaches for a variety of playtime and excersice.

I’m willing to go to your home if it’s not to far away. Just ask I’m sure we can work something out. I have a fenced in yard. I have two friendly dogs. One has a crate and one doesn’t. They both sleep where they want. I crate one only sometimes.

During visits, I make sure your pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and affection, whether that’s going on walks, playing with their favorite toys, or just keeping them company so they feel safe and comfortable while you’re away. I have experience working with dogs and cats of different sizes, temperaments, and energy levels. I’m comfortable handling both high-energy dogs that need lots of activity as well as more relaxed or older dogs who prefer a slower pace. My schedule is flexible, and I do my best to accommodate your needs. I’m available for the majority of weekdays and most weekends! I have owned many animals in my life including dogs, cats, and even horses! I am not a professional trainer however I do have experience training all of my own animals basic commands and structure while also giving them plenty of love! I am enrolled at Iowa State University and currently am taking a good amount of online classes so I have a fairly flexible schedule! I am available almost every day except for holidays! I am extremely patient and loving towards all animals, and I have worked with dogs, cats, and horses my whole life! I even have an 140 lb english mastiff of my own!

“Katrina kept our two boys in her home for several days while were out of the country and we cannot recommend her highly enough. We visited her home twice before our trip and felt very reassured. While we were away, she was in regular communication and sent lots of photos. One of our guys has a recurring eye issue and it flared up badly while we were away. Katrina took great care of him. She took him to our vet and administered his medications. We were very worried about him and are so grateful to Katrina's family for taking such great care of him.
