About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5. I’ve dog sat 2 pit bulls while I also babysat 2 kids when I was just 14 for 12 hours a day. I currently dog sit for my mom all the time. I taught my dog how to rollover, speak, spin, and more all while being a single mom with a little baby! I’m currently staying at home taking care of my son and will be home all day every day for the most part. I can give your fur baby as much attention as they need, take them on walks, play fetch, or reinforce training and positive behavior. I don’t have a fenced yard but I have a long leash to let my dogs run a bit and stay outside for a while if they would like. I also have a little kiddie pool for them to play in for hot summer days. My dogs also enjoy chasing water straight from the hose! I always pay attention to make sure they never get overheated. At your house I would try to follow your typical routine so it feels natural for your fur baby!

About: I’ve taken care of dogs for the past 10 years. Most of my experience comes from small to medium size dogs, but I’m also open to caring for dogs of any size. Additionally, I have experience with senior dogs that may take an extra amount of care/support (I.e., administering medicine, helping them get around, etc.). Im currently unemployed, so id be able to drop in at any time necessary. I won’t be available during the first couple weeks of December, but other than that I am free. I will make sure to clean any messes or wash dishes while you are away. I like to keep the house clean while I pet sit.

About: Dogs have always been in my life. I volunteered at Animal Lifeline for 8 years and had a dog daycare of my own for a while. Dogs are everything and I’d be honored to love on yours. I currently work full time from home so doggie day care is definitely doable! My day ends at 3 pm so I can be that late afternoon or evening potty break or walk. Weekends have potential as well with pre-arranged time and notice. Should your dog(s) stay with me during the day, I have a fenced yard and no carpet in case of oopsies! About: I have had pets for my whole life, whether that be hamsters, fish, dogs, cats, bunnies, and even wildlife who need extra support to get back into their habitat. I have tons of experience with different kinds of dogs. I have had my dogs since they were puppies all the way to the end of their lives, which gives me knowledge about each of the stages of pet’s lives. I also have volunteered at a dog shelter for 6+ years, so I have experience working with reactive dogs to dogs who are extremely timid and shy. I can guarantee that I have seen all kinds of personalities between all kinds of animals. I also have worked with cats at the shelter, which also gives me insight on the way cats can be which could range from very sassy (like my cat Benny lol!), to the sweetest cats. Along with those experiences with different personalities, I have lots of experiences with injured animals and have had exposure to treating wounds/minor injuries in animals. I have had to learn how to treat my dog’s diabetes since she was recently diagnosed, and have accommodated my lifestyle to fit her needs as a diabetic. I also have learned how to manage an obese dog’s weight into a healthier weight. Overall, I have grown up surrounded by animals and have seen an abundance of different situations within different kinds of animals!! I currently attend a university in the Des Moines metro and will be commuting from my home to school. This ensures that I have time to go back and forth between my house and school, which will allow me to make frequent trips to check on the pet. I also live with my parents who work from home, so there will always be someone watching the pet and ensuring that everything is going well. I get off from school around noon every day, so that will allow me to go back home and spend the rest of the afternoon with the pet and pay full attention towards them!! In my home, I am responsible for feeding, bathing, cleaning after, and spending time with all of my pets. I have learned how to trim nails, properly bathe a pet, treat one of my dogs that has diabetes, and clean wounds when a pet gets injured. I have been able to experience many situations with pets and stay calm during an accident. I am willing to do anything to accommodate any pet because they deserve to have a life of luxury, just like us! I want to make sure that while you are gone your dogs/cats routine stays as close to normal as possible! If that means your dog goes to paws n pints for a play date on Wednesday @2 then I’ll load up lassie in the car and get there! If your cat gets 3 treats at 3pm everyday then we will make it happen! I wanted to be a veterinarian or veterinary assistant but I didn't quite have the grades for it so that's why I decided to become a dog sitter, a dog walker, pet care taker, dog lover, and pet lover. My wife and I have been married for nearly 40 years, and throughout that time we've shared our home with three wonderful dogs—a Keeshond who lived to 15, a Border Terrier who also lived to 15, and our current French Bulldog, Bella, who is 8 years old. About: We have been pet sitting for friends and colleagues for 2 years so thought why not join Rover and do more! Our clients love my family and we love their pets so it makes perfect sense. I have 4 kids, a small dog and two cats and my small pets just hide if a visiting pet is too much for them otherwise they don't get bothered or bother anyone else, human or pet! I work from home and I have 4 kids who love cats and dogs and love to help out with the dogs that we already provide services for. We are trusted with hideaway keys to homes to let dogs out and we run them in fenced in yards to burn energy. Then we make sure they have food and water and kennel them if applicable before we leave. In our house, visiting pets are watched over by all members of the family. Sometimes we buy them their own special toy to play with. We make sure they eat and get any meds they might need.
About: I have raised multiple dogs throughout my life including Chihuahuas, huskies, german Shepard, lab, and beagle. I have also worked at different doggie day cares and animal shelter as well. About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5. I’ve dog sat 2 pit bulls while I also babysat 2 kids when I was just 14 for 12 hours a day. I currently dog sit for my mom all the time. I taught my dog how to rollover, speak, spin, and more all while being a single mom with a little baby! I’m currently staying at home taking care of my son and will be home all day every day for the most part. I can give your fur baby as much attention as they need, take them on walks, play fetch, or reinforce training and positive behavior. I don’t have a fenced yard but I have a long leash to let my dogs run a bit and stay outside for a while if they would like. I also have a little kiddie pool for them to play in for hot summer days. My dogs also enjoy chasing water straight from the hose! I always pay attention to make sure they never get overheated. At your house I would try to follow your typical routine so it feels natural for your fur baby!
