About: Very experienced and knowledgable with dogs, cats, birds, horses, pocket pets and all types of farm animals. Can provide drop in visits for any house or farm and can take care of farm chores. Dogs staying at our house have access to the whole house, but can be kept separate from resident dogs if needed. Two 15-30 minute walks provided each day, both morning and night, possibly more depending on the dog and day. We are very active with our three dogs and any guests would receive the same care and attention as our own. We provide mental stimulation as well as physical, and daily obedience work is a part of our schedule. I am available for drop in visits.

Cats? Not so much but I do help out when asked as they are not actually mine but my roommates. I take my dogs out at LEAST 3 times a day typically more in warmer weather. But I take them out at least once when I wake up, once after or before lunch, and once before bed after they've ate their dinner. My dogs have stomach issues and only eat once a day near dinner time for me. I get them out more often to play now that its warming up outside In my clients home, as I don't do boarding at my own home, I can bring my own dog if asked for a play buddy but I would like a copy or to see the vaccination records to be safe. I will make sure the animals get some time to play and have plenty of attention while I am there. I will make sure dogs get outside to potty on either the specified schedule from my client or on a schedule I am able to run, but they will get out as much as I can make happen. Cats I'll make sure get some play time, if you're the kind of cat person who let's their cat out on a catio or leash or trust your cat out on its own for a bit I can make those happen too. I will make sure they have fresh litter when needed/requested. I will make sure both cats and dogs have fresh water and food on a schedule determined by the owner or when its needing refilled/changed.
About: I’m a recent Washington State University graduate with over four years of housesitting experience caring for a variety of animals, including dogs and cats. I grew up with both a Yorkie and a Great Pyrenees, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes and personalities! I’ve cared for puppies as young as two months old through senior dogs up to 13 years old, and I truly adore spending time with each one of them whether we’re throwing the ball in the yard for hours or relaxing on the porch couch. I’m patient and consistent with young pups who are still learning routines and basic training, and I’m gentle and attentive with senior dogs who may need medication, extra comfort, or slower walks. Something really important to me is treating each pet as if they were my own, to make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while their parents are away! Pet care definitely fits very easily into my daily routine. I currently work part-time, which gives me a very flexible schedule to accommodate any specific needs, whether that’s early morning visits, midday check-ins, evening walks, or overnight care. I’m happy to adjust my day to maintain your pet’s normal routine so they feel happy and comfortable while you’re away! I am also available for housesitting and truly enjoy staying in a home environment so pets can stay in their familiar space with consistent care and just someone to hangout with! The pet’s safety, comfort, and routine are always going to be my top priorities. At this time, I do not offer care in my own home, but I am more than happy to provide drop-in visits or overnight housesitting in your home where your pet feels most secure. I will most definitely work hard to maintain their normal schedule, feeding routines, exercise, and any special instructions you may provide me. Additionally, I’m very respectful of clients’ homes and treat them with the same care and responsibility I would my own. About: Hello everyone! My name is Emily and I am a huge animal lover. I am located in Cedar Rapids and almost always available. I have about 15 years of experience with both cats & dogs and have 4 dogs of my own. I have 3 little girls who are 5, 4, and 9 months 😊 We live in a ranch style home and have a fenced in backyard. I am an active person and will give your pet plenty of love and attention. I will also take dogs on walks if they enjoy that. I have never had an owner unhappy with their pets stay. They will be crated whenever we are not home to ensure they’re safe unless they’re used to free roaming and won’t have accidents or be destructive.
About: I have been working in veterinary medicine for 4 years this January! I love and care for all animals but I also have a strong understanding of animal health, behavior, and safety I am currently working full time, with Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays off. I do get a break in the middle of the day to take care of any of the animal’s needs! I currently do not have any pets in my home. Crate/kennel training or a fenced in yard isn’t necessary. About: Experienced in walking all size dogs and looking for a walking buddies on regular basis in the Cedar Rapids area in all weather conditions. Flexible schedule I am looking for a dog to walk anywhere from 2 to 4 miles depending on the dog and day and can be flexible with the time.
