“This is our Nala's second stay with Jacque and her family. They did a great job taking care of her with patience and understanding, as she is not quite the warm and fuzzy type with new people. She had an experience with a trainer when she was a puppy which left her very fearful and sometimes aggressive towards anyone outside of our family. With lots of patience, Jacque and her family were able to peel some of that fear away. All the pictures and videos of her playing with other dogs and sitting on the couch and hanging out with the family is a huge deal for Nala and for our family. After having some past trauma leaving our dogs in someone else’s care, it was such a relief to finally feel confident knowing our dogs were in experienced, capable hands. About: Hello Pet Parents! My name’s Samantha, currently I am a single mom to an 19 month old boy and also a dog-mama to my Shih tzu named Cheech! I have had dogs my entire life and have been doing Rover for many years now. I take pride in my work and take it seriously, if I was going to have someone watch Cheech I would want to know they are trustworthy, diligent, understanding, and patient. So that is how I am with the pets in my care. I'll do anything to make a pups tail wag!! 🐾💝 I currently am a stay at home mom of one. I have the ability yo keep your pups schedule on track while they are in my care. I only work one a day week away from home ( I come home in my lunch break) and do property management from home on the side. My sister watches my son on the one day that I do go to work, so if your pet stays with me I would always be around or my sister would be at my home to let your pet outside, walk them, and care for their needs. :) I do not normally host more than one families pet/s at once but if I was going to, I would let both owners know before doing so and only with dogs that I had watched before and know that there would not be any issues. I offer pet/house sitting, I need to be able to bring my son with me & if possible I like to bring my shih tzu Cheech with me to boarding jobs. (But I do understand sometimes that isn’t an option. I don’t want any dog or cat feeling like their home is being invaded.) I have a small yard at my home to take dogs out but there isnt much running space if your dog is high energy. Luckily I do have a bike path right near by we can walk to for walks! If I have multiple dogs staying with me I do have the ability to separate them if necessary during eating, sleeping, or when I do run errands.

Dog sitting was something I loved doing for many years, but paused to do to care for my senior dog for the last 3 years. After recently losing her, and not being ready for a new love of my own, I’d be honored for the opportunity to care for your pet. I work from home doing telehealth, largely from 11-4 M/W/F so I have lots of time and breaks to spend with your pet. I spend most days at home, able to provide exercise and maintain routine feeding throughout the day. I am used to administering meds on a schedule and provide frequent updates to owners (if they’d like!). I am careful to follow the house rules and your pet’s routine. I know it takes a lot of trust for someone to care for your fur baby, and I am a trusted member of the community. I am transparent about my stay in your home and understand it is a privilege to be there and be trusted to care for your animal. I provide lots of play time and cuddles! I always leave homes cleaner than they are left. My reviews are older because of the break I took from Rover to care for my senior pup, but I still value the same service.
About: *Location: Hau'ula, HI* Registered Nurse for 10 years. Competitive athlete for 20 years. Throughout my childhood I grew up with Dobermans, Bichon Frise and Standard Poodles. I have unconditional love for all dogs and all their personality. Some breeds I've watched over the last 6 months include Rhodesian Ridgeback, Pitbull mix, French Bull dogs and Standard Poodle. About: i’ve been around pets big and small, from kittens to huskies, I love animals. I am a long term care giver for a Australian shepherd. i work part time, so on the days i’m not working i would love to get out and take a dog for a walk or two. I care for pets in a loving way, discipline can be very important, but i like to reward for good behavior and ignore bad, but of course use appropriate discipline when needed.
“Sean was great. My dog has a complicated feeding regime and she picked it up right away. Not only that, but she timed her walks so Mooji could get his favorite beach walk. Mooji is a food aggressive terrier who takes a while to warm up to people. Other people who have cared for him didn’t pay attention to my explanations on how to handle Mooji. About: I love animals and believe they deserve nothing but love and care. I have had dogs and cats throughout my whole life and have always been responsible for their care. I helped train my parents beautiful Old English Bull Dog puppy when they received him when he was just 13 weeks old :) he is a very intelligent dog. I also took care of our very old and sick long time family dog of 17 years who I had known since I was born, he had arthritis, pulse he was blind with cataracts.
