Our normally shy Australian Shepherd, Maeve, thrived in her first pack experience as she played, hung out, and got taken on long walks with other sweet dogs that were also boarding at Dani’s place. The spacious, rural land upon which Dani and her husband live provides an excellent environment for canine frolicking and exercise. Each day we received daily photo, video and text updates that conveyed how happy our girl was while in Dani’s outstanding care. We highly recommend Dani!”

I liked how she set up a meet and greet to get to know my dog and let Lottie feel comfortable in their place. I was nervous leaving Lottie for the first time, but Diana sent me pictures of Lottie every day during their walks, playing or hanging out inside the house with the other fur babies. About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with experience caring for dogs and cats. We have a playful 1.5-year-old dog who loves small & medium dogs. Your pup or cat will feel safe, loved, and right at home with us—plenty of playtime, cuddles, and care included! My daughter is a veterinarian, which I love sharing as it is telling of the pet home she grew up in and our passion for cats and dogs as a family. We care for our animals as if there our children and your pet will become our bonus child. I am self-employed and work minutes away on Mondays-Thursdays and I am Home all day Friday -Sundays. When I do work in my office, I come home daily for lunch, so if I have your fur baby on those days, they will get playtime, love, and attention throughout the day. Our puppy, 1 1/2 is spayed and a loving sweet dog. She gets along with both cats and dogs and does not have an aggressive bone in her body. We have a fenced yard that my fur baby and yours can play in, and are located right by the bike path and can take our dogs on walks. We also have an extra crate if needed. Our dogs and cats are treated like family members in our home.

About: Apart from having my own 4 year old Shiba (Kuma), I’ve grown up around tons of dogs. My mom has a german shepherd and a black lab! I used to volunteer at the Humane Society when I was in high school and I even got to foster my own! With having Kuma, my roommate has two cats that i’m absolutely in love with! As a college student, i’m majoring in Biology and i love learning about animals. I can’t wait to meet your dog! Since i’m in college, I have a pretty set schedule as of right now. I’m available all day on the weekends (including friday) and monday and wednesday after 5pm. On tuesdays and thursdays, i’m off around 7pm. Hopefully this isn’t confusing but i’m available most of the days, and all of the days in the evening. I think it’s very important for a dog to get their sunlight and exercise in so i’m happy to take them to a park or walk around the block or even just play with them in the backyard/home! I’m pretty good with routines and pick up on things quickly. I’m good with cleaning up after your pet, whether it’s their poop/pee of just making a mess. Whatever you need me to do, i’m glad to do it!

About: Dogs have been in my family my whole life and I was a dog mom for at least 20 years. I know firsthand how our furry BFF’s are FAMILY and how important it is to have trustworthy and reliable care for them when we have to be away. I travel a lot, and by far, pet care was always the #1 stressor in planning and being away. My sweet guy was old, quirky, anxious, and towards the end he had a lot of special care needs. I always worried if he was getting all his needs met or if maybe he was too much for others to deal with compassionately until we found our sitter! He was a genuinely great guy who loved our sweet boy so much, so I knew I was lucky to find someone I trusted and my guy was in good hands. So now, as a sitter myself, I can promise you that I will care for your sweet boy or girl as if they were my own family because that’s what I loved in my own sitter! My place is only about 10 minutes away from the airport, so it’s very convenient for quick drop-off and pick-up on your way if you’re traveling. I work FT from home M-F so there’s time for a walk before and/or after work, and then I am available for frequent potty breaks throughout the day as needed I have a well fenced in yard and we are two doors down from a park. The park is tucked away in our community so there’s not much traffic and it’s very safe. We don’t usually see other dogs there, but plenty of chickens. I’m sorry, but my yard does not have a sheltered space so I can’t host outdoor pets. I can only host pets who are full-time indoor pets and fully house trained (no diapers or belly bands). I do have most basic pet supplies (bowls, leashes, crate for den style napping and an elevated bed, etc.)

About: I was adopted when I was 2 years old & adoption also extended to several of the pets we took in over the years as well! Dogs, cats, birds, hamsters… i can’t say there was ever a limit. We had 10 cats at one point, thanks to the contribution of a female kitty who followed me home one day & was pregnant not long after we took her in. I even raised 4 pigs in high school! Horses run 3 generations through the women in my family & the goal is to one day have my own ranch to rescue & raise my own animal family! I have a knack for creating calm for even the most active animals! Many tend to relax the more time they spend with me. Cars & dogs alike will gravitate toward spending time with me wherever I am & that includes joining me in bed at night. Schedules are important. Routines are important. I work from home ie my laptop & phone. An ideal fit for my current schedule are home stays, ie house sitting that also involves caring for pets. A written AM/PM routine that outlines feeding, walks, etc is ideal. I do not drink, smoke, do drugs or party. You can trust & rely on me to protect not only the wellbeing of your pets, but also, caring for your home as if it was my own.

Since a very young age, I have always had a special spot in my heart for animals of all kinds, although it’s especially soft for dogs 🐕 I have raised and cared for many different breeds of dogs, all sizes too! About: As a dog mom myself, my biggest issue was finding affordable & reliable care for my fur babies while im away from home… So it’s been my goal since October 2023 was to provide that service for other dog pawrents here on Kaua’i. I was previously raising Retrievers before I started pet sitting. But now dog sit full time, 7 days a week. I’m available about 300 days of the year. However I do book up very fast during Spring, Summer, Fall, & Winter break. So please reach out in advance. I will try my best to accommodate anyone. I’m located 8 minutes from the airport in a quiet, and safe neighborhood. I have a 6’ high vinyl fence surrounding my yard, & gates that are locked at all times. I’m able to take any pups AFTER 8AM, So please book the day prior if you’re needed services earlier than that. Each day I’m busy with atleast 1 to 5 dogs per day. Which vary between daycare pups & overnight boarding pups. Most of the dogs who come here are all weekly daycare dogs, repeat boarding dogs, or are monthly visitors. I care for my daycare and boarding pups in a pack environment. Where everyone interacts with each other based on activity levels or size. But if I feel your pup isn’t good with certain pups, that is fine as well and he/she will be able to stay separated. They’re able to roam free all day, except when I have to leave the house for an errand or go to bed. That’s when each dog needs to be in a secured place.. either crated on the patio or inside the house in the kitchen. Our daily schedule starts at 6:30am. The dogs are let out of their crates/the kitchen to go potty in the fenced yard. Then I’ll normally let them roam around for an hour or two till I prep their breakfast (just for the ones who eat twice). Then the dogs go back into their crates to rest their stomachs for 1 hour. During the day the dogs can interact and play with each other, rest on the patio, under the gazebo, or sunbathe in the yard. The dogs have free roam of the yard all day, except if I have to run an errand or when I go to bed around 11pm. That’s when they will be put into their individual crates/pens. I’m all about safety, & cleanliness. The gates are always locked for your pups safety, the yard is sanitized atleast 2x a day, and I always have an eye on the pups.

If I’m staying in your home, I’m also happy to water plants, bring in mail/packages, and help keep everything tidy and cared for while you’re away so you can return home stress-free. I understand how important it is to find someone you trust with your beloved pets, and I treat every animal with the same love, patience, and care I would want for my own. About: I can be available for walks whenever needed, I understand weird work schedules and I can work around your schedule. I'll be home full-time while I'm watching your dog. As long as you are ok with it too on nice days I'd love to take the dogs out hiking or to the local park.
