“Kara saved my bacon as I needed someone last minute to watch my dog, Finn, while I was house sitting for my parents. I work about 45 minutes away from their house so he would have been alone for 12 hours as his doggie daycare was full. Kara was extremely responsive and helped guide me through the process of how to use rover (as it was my first time). All responses were probably within 15 minutes of my messages so I felt good about the booking. She stopped by twice during the day to let him out into the yard for some potty and play and from the many photos that she sent he seemed to absolutely love having her there with him! She followed all of my instructions perfectly and had no problem figuring out what to do while I was at work which helped take some of the stress off of me. My only complaint is that she doesn’t live closer to my own house so that I could book her as an ongoing client because it worked out so well! About: I have years of experience caring for pets (dogs, cats, birds) including my own pets and those of friends, family, and Rover. I love animals and your pup would have my undivided attention! I am an emergency medicine physician assistant and have a fairly flexible schedule. I love animals and therefore, I will only accept requests to care for doggos on my days off to ensure that they get the attention/love that they deserve!! Pups under my care will frequent the dog park or hiking trails for some good smells and fresh air. You may notice that I have no recent reviews on Rover. I am new to Hawaii (from Massachusetts) as of May 2024 and just recently back on Rover. BUT I have no short of pet experience. Dogs will have a minimum of 5 walks per day for daycare (if wanted) and lots of snuggles. I live in a nice, calm neighborhood with a small yard. I also have a setup for my car including a dog seatbelt for trips to the park/hikes.

“Tanya and her family cared for our senior and special needs doggies with the utmost care and concern. We were blessed to have got her as our sitter, we did a two night trial run to see if the doggies would adapt to their new boarding environment. From all the photos and conversations with Tanya the outcome was great and most of all very positive, so positive that we will be leaving them with her next month as we plan to go on a 1 week vacation which was long time in coming (3 years). Having Tanya as our sitter has pretty much lessen the anxiety and worry regarding the doggies care. We thank you Tanya and family for all that you do for our doggies and for us too!!!”

“Absolutely Phenomenal! I cannot recommend Pei highly enough! I used his services for a 12-day trip to Japan, and he was incredible. Right from the start, he went above and beyond by meeting my large Pitt Bull a few weeks in advance just to ensure they were a perfect match. I can say with full confidence that If you have a larger dog, he is exactly who you need. His knowledge, canine "know-how," and ability to confidently handle and control bigger dogs is impressive. Because of this, I was able to enjoy my vacation with total peace of mind. I would recommend Pei to anyone in a heartbeat and will definitely use him again!”
“Thank goodness for Andrea, who helped with boarding Alika after my heart procedure. I asked for a last minute request and she was able to help with that as well. Alika came back a happy dog, which tells me he had a good stay with Andrea. Appreciate all her help with Alika. When she picked him up he did not hesitate to jump in her car. He really loves his time with her when she comes and walks him as well. I will definitely use Andrea again.”
“Angela was a life saver, she agreed to take in my dog Tank for a couple of weeks on short notice. We did a meet and greet and Tank was cool and comfortable at her place. She sent pictures and let me know how he was doing. Taking him on walks and just keeping him busy. So, if you need a sitter, give her a call.
