“Abigail and her family took wonderful care of our dog, Yuzu, while we were away for two weeks. Daily photos including trips to the beach and the park put our minds at ease, and we would definitely have Yuzu stay with her family again in the future!”

“Krysta, Peter and Ryder were fantastic. Couldn’t recommend them highly enough. They took great care of Jojo. Sent daily pics and updates which gave us peace of mind. Would definitely leave Jojo with them again.”

“Kyrie is awesome!! Can’t recommend highly enough. Rosie gets so excited whenever she realizes we’re heading to her house. She’s treated like family, gets to run around safely in a gated yard, and has become besties with Kyrie’s toddler. We appreciate all the photos and videos we get when we’re away, and the peace of mind that comes from knowing our pup is in good hands with a great sitter and family.”

“Danica is great, she took care of my Tamago like her own. Daily multiple updates and lots of snuggles for my kid. Couldn’t be happier to have left Tamago in her care.”

“AMAZING!!! After recently moving to Hawaii, I was worried about not finding a reliable sitter while away for a week. I found Tracey, and knew it was the right choice! My mini goldendoodle had a blast with a few other smaller dogs, i received multiple pictures throughout the day, and Tracey was very helpful with answering any questions I had to feel comfortable before charging! I’m glad that I found a great sitter on the first go, and thankfully, now i have someone to continually use that i fully trust! Thanks so much!”

“Another lovely visit for our pups! We’re so grateful to have found a sitter that cares about both their physical and emotional wellbeing! They had several cute activities during this trip, and I could tell they had a great time. Thankful as always! 😊”

“My dog did very well on his first 4-hour daycare with Christine 3 months ago. This time, it is overnight stay. I was worried, felt uneasy, then came updates. She sent photos of my dog cuddling to his son, even slept in their bedroom (just like home). She even hand-fed my dog and offered other dog food when my dog refused his food. The whole family took care of my small Pom like their own. She is really true to her word, "care for them like they’re my own."”

“KaVina was ABSOLUTELY amazing with my l lil man (Deuce). She kept the pics & videos coming. You could see the joy in my dogs eyes in the pictures & videos, I feel like my guy was truly able to live like he was at home. She took him for walks & played tug of war with him & kept him happy. I would definitely use her services again because she made him feel at home.”

“Emma was amazing! Toast fit right in with her family and was loved, adored, and well taken care of. I would absolutely recommend her to anyone and would absolutely book her again. 100% loves the pups she takes care of!”

“Carley is amazing! From the beginning, she communicated quickly and was extremely accommodating. Our Benny looked very content, calm, and welcomed. Carlee updated us with pictures throughout his 2 night stay. Will definitely call upon Carlee again!”

“Angela and her boys took wonderful care of my lab while we were away for a week. It was comforting to know she was well taken care of. I enjoyed the pictures Angela would send, her communication was timely and very helpful. Would definitely use her services again.”

“This was our first time leaving our 2 dogs with someone in Hawaii and Trinity did an amazing job with our dogs. I was a bit nervous at first, but after the initial meet with their dogs, I knew they’d get alot of play time. They had so much fun doing so many activities like the beach and dog park, which I really appreciated. It’s always nice knowing your dogs are well taken care of when you’re out on vacation. We received tons of pictures which was great!”

“Diana is our go to rover for watching Ili. Dianna and her family take such good care of Ili. We are so grateful for them because we never worry about leaving Ili when we travel and ili has the best time, it’s like Ili gets her own vacation with lots of play time. Mahalo to Dianna and her Ohana”

“Makayla was absolutely awesome. Took our two cats last minute and took great care of them, gave them treats and the care they needed. Went above and beyond to make sure our family and our cats got what they needed, would do it again!”

I love seeing animals happy within a loving environment. But enough with the bragging and sob stories.😂 If you need a walker, a babysitter, or someone to love the bad behavior out of your furbaby, please reach out!
“Lyndi is The Best! We have 2 cats, one of them is almost 17 years old and needs a lot of attention. Lyndi took great care to ensure that both cats got their needs fulfilled in our absence. It was so reassuring to get daily updates and photos of our boys while on the other side of the globe. They were in excellent hands!”

About: I have taken care of cats since I was 15 years old! I love watching kitties and ensuring they receive cuddles, timely feedings and alone time if they are the solitude type. A fun fact about me is I raised a kitten from 3 days old, his name is Sigmund! I also have base access so I can help military families with their furry family members as well!
About: My work and life is centered around animal care, because it is what I truly enjoy. I am a recent graduate veterinarian and I love walking dogs in my free time! I have worked as a vet tech, Doggie Daycare attendant, Wildlife Rescue volunteer, and a foster mom to many puppies. I understand how important pets are in people's lives having pets of my own, and I will treat your pet with all the love and care that I give my own animals. I am currently between positions so I have more time during the day to care for your pets. I am a morning person, so early visits are best. I can adjust to any set up you have for your animals! I like to visit with you and see the layout of how you live with your animals so I can try my best to maintain your routine.
“Daniel was a fantastic sitter for my cat over the holidays. He was able to come around the same time every day and did everything needed for my cat and went above and beyond to anticipate my pets needs. He sent many photos and updates, and was very quick to respond when contacted. Daniel was great, hoping he is available the next time I travel!!”

About: I have owned and cared for 4 dogs (1 lab, 2 beagles, 1 mutt), and 5 cats (3 orange tabby cats, 1 longhair black cat, 1 calico) in my lifetime, and I always play with the pet at the party. My favorite dog is the beagle and my favorite cat is orange but I love them all. I am available nearly every day and most evenings. I know how to quickly win over a pet with genuine display of empathy and affection. Knowing the spot to scratch also helps. I have very long legs and walk miles daily, so I can outwalk most dogs and keep up with them as they chase birds and mongoose. If they are not yet tired from the walk, I love playing tug-of-war afterwards. My life goal is to own a large yard, 2 dogs and 2 cats, and I am working towards that goal every day. I am currently working part-time as a theatre teacher. My teaching hours are 9-3 on Tuesdays and 11-3 on Thursdays/Fridays. I do theatre and improv most weekends in the evenings. Otherwise I am very available! I only use leashes that are secure. I keep a tight grip on a leash and wrap it around my fist to be safe. I am good about checking and securing gates.

“We had a last minute cancelation and so we found Lauren on Rover and she was able to meet with me the same day. Lauren did a great job with Skoshi. She made notes and took pictures for each day and went above and beyond what was asked of her. Would highly recommend.”

“This was our first time using TK to watch our 2 cats and we were very happy with the TLC she provided them in addition to other small things like watering our plants and keeping the house tidied up. She was always on time and left pictures after her visits in addition to keeping us apprised of other issues that came up. TK was very prompt in communicating with us and I'm so glad that we found her for our recent trip. We will 100% contact her again for our next trip as our cats already miss her!”

“Gabby was very sweet with our cat, not to mention super diligent and responsive. She sent thoughtful, regular updates and even handled an emergency situation at our house while we were traveling. Will definitely be using her services again!!”

About: I adopted my cat, Benny, six years ago from the Hawaiian Humane Society. I’ve learned so much about what makes cats happy, healthy, and comfortable. From daily litter box, cleaning and vet visits to endless play sessions and understanding their way of communicating. I really pride myself on my ability to read and respond to a cat’s unique personality. Whether they’re shy, playful or full of sass, I adapt to what makes them feel safe and loved. I know how to recognize their cues -like when they want to cuddle, need space or are looking for a toy to chase around. I’m also very reliable and attentive. I’ll make sure your cat has everything they need while you’re away, from fresh food and water to lots of affection (or just quiet company for the independent types). I’ll keep you updated with pictures and stories so you’ll always know your furry friend is in good hands.

About: I've always been the girl on the street to watch neighbors dogs, pigs, kids, farm animals, you name it. Last year I moved to the Big Island and house sat a farm for 10 months ( there were donkeys, chickens, cats and dogs there that I took car of). I have a golden retriever of my own and grew up around all sorts of animals. I'm also Vegan so you'll know there in good hands <3. I work part time and have weekends off, I usually take my dog on hikes or to the beach every single day. I work 10 minutes from my house and my shits are 4 hours long, I have 2 roommates that could also help take them potty if I'm working. I have a fenced in yard and a safe environment for your pets. Your pets have to be friendly with other dogs because I have a year old golden retriever .
About: I had dogs since I was very young. As a child, I wanted to grow up to become a vet, but I realized I'm allergic to cats, and some dogs. Even with allergies I'll still watch them because I love them and that's what allergy pills are for 😆. Care taking animals at home is one of my dream jobs, and I'm very lucky to be able to have a safe space for my furry friends to hang out at. I've been fostering with Paws of Hawaii for almost 3 years. I love being able to help provide a home to those in need, and it's so much fun seeing all the different personalities. I just love being surrounded by dogs. I like to train simple and fun tricks with them! My house basically became a doggy day care with fosters and dog sitting my friends furbabies! I'm currently working part time for music and acting so I have a lot of time. I spend most days hanging out with my dog, a foster, and sometimes my friends dog when I get asked to dogsit. I have a fenced yard, 1 dog of my own, and usually 1 foster or 2 fosters. We hang out multiple times a day out in the yard, to play and relax. They are allowed to roam around the house, I'm very attentive. I also have a crate for when I need to leave the house. All dogs are crate trained, and fed in the crate at my house. I change out the water frequently and give them filtered water.
About: After the death of our beloved dog, our family decided to take a break from dog ownership to heal and rest a bit. I have had dogs (usually more than 1 at a time) my whole life! Pet sitting is my way of loving on dogs during this busy stage of life when I cannot have my own. I would love to shower your dog with lots of love and attention! We do have a kitten in our home. She has adjusted very well to having dogs around. We are a homeschool family and are at home or near home most every day. I would never have to leave your pet for any extended period of time. Not only do we have a fenced in yard, but also live walking distance to a couple of beautiful parks, beaches, and a small dog park. Please be aware that I do have small children. Ages 3, 6, 10, & 12. I will love your pet like my own! Your beloved pet will have snuggles and pets and enjoy walks outside to our local park and dog park if you approve. I live in a beautiful area and love to be outside with furry friends.
About: I’ve had my own pets since I was young. I have a turtle and a cat but unfortunately, I just lost my second family dog of old age and my first due to cancer. I’m not quite ready for a dog just yet but I’d love to be around them more! I make my own schedule right now so I have a lot of time to play and hangout with pets! I also walk everyday so it would be nice to have a companion! In my home now, it would be easy to care for a smaller dog since I live in a condo but I live right on the canal with a very lengthy path for walking pets!
About: I would prefer to help you out with your cats or even small kittens) I adore to see how playful they are! I may give very good care for any kind of cats! I do work during weekdays and it will be a pleasure to take care your pet on weekends. Cats 🐈 are my favourite, we get connected right away! I can definitely be a great company for your cat! Feeding, cleaning and playing with your pet, it’s more a pleasure for me! We can chat to discuss more.
“Kelly was great with our one year old pup Rory. We have never used a dog sitter before, and Rory can be anxious more times than not, but Kelly was good at keeping her happy. We received texts & photo updates from her, which was nice.”

“Gigi was very comfortable with Lauren and her son. She sent me a few pictures, two of which were of Gigi sitting next to Lauren with her head in her lap. We will definitely bring Gigi to Lauren again.”

Whether you’re away for a few hours or an extended trip, you can count on me to offer attentive care, regular exercise, and plenty of belly rubs. With a passion for animals and years of experience, I ensure your furry friend stays happy, safe, and comfortable while you’re away. Book with me today and give your dog the care they deserve! I’m currently a SAHM so my schedule is typically open. I do however only watch one dog at a time to provide them with a comfortable stay. They must have a bed or kennel provided with their stay. I will follow special instructions, if needed. I feed them, take them on walks, play with them, pet and cuddle them. Maybe, take them on a car ride if they like that.
“We loved our stay with Selena! She sent pictures and videos throughout the day and made sure Benny had a wonderful time. Benny got along great with her pup Gizmo and we look forward to seeing them again!”

About: Aloha! We’re Corina and David – your first‑class dog sitters and your pup’s second family. We are a dependable team who treats every dog like our own. We work from home full‑time, so your pup gets tons of attention, frequent potty breaks, playtime, and snuggles all day long. We provide a quiet, warm loving, air conditioned and very clean home with a large, fully fenced yard with turf, perfect for safe play and relaxing outside. We don’t have children, but we do share our home with our Pomeranian, who enjoys calm, well‑mannered dog friends. To keep things peaceful and low‑stress, we only care for one guest dog at a time, so your pup always gets truly personal attention. We’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes – from bouncy puppies who need structure and patience to sweet seniors who need a gentler pace and extra support. We’re confident giving basic medications and following detailed feeding and exercise routines, so your dog can stay on their normal schedule while you’re away. We’re new to Rover, but we’re not new to loving and caring for dogs, and we’re excited to build long‑term relationships with pet parents in our community. Pet parents who know us describe us as calm, caring, responsible, and very easy to work with. We keep you in the loop with regular photo and video updates, so you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing your dog is safe, loved, and having fun. Since we work from home full‑time, pet care is built into our entire day. Your fur-baby starts with a morning potty break and some gentle play or a short walk to get their wiggles out, then they hang out with us while we work, with regular breaks for attention, cuddles, and outside time. In the afternoon and early evening, we do another round of walks or backyard play, dinner on their normal schedule, and then wind‑down snuggles so they can relax and feel at home before bedtime. In our home, safety and comfort come first. We live in a quiet, clean, loving home with a large, fully fenced yard with turf, so dogs can enjoy fresh air and playtime in a secure space. We don’t have children, and we only host one guest dog at a time, which keeps things calm, low‑stress, and focused on your pup. Our own 7.5‑year‑old Pomeranian is friendly with calm, respectful dogs, and we do a careful meet & greet to be sure everyone is a good match before a stay. We follow your dog’s normal routine for feeding, walks, potty breaks, and bedtime, and we’re comfortable giving basic medications and following detailed instructions. Doors, gates, and leashes are always double‑checked, and we supervise outdoor time so your dog is never left unattended in the yard. We know it’s a big deal to trust someone with your furry family member, so we keep communication open and easy. We send regular photo and video updates, let you know how your dog is settling in, and reach out with any questions. Our goal is for you to feel completely at ease, knowing your dog is safe, loved, and cared for like our own.
About: Hi, I’m Chloe! I’ve grown up surrounded by animals of all kinds, and caring for pets has always been a natural part of my life. I currently have 2 cats and 1 dog, so I’m very familiar with different personalities, routines, and energy levels. One thing I specialize in is caring for dogs with separation anxiety. Since I’m home full-time and don’t work outside the house, I’m able to provide constant companionship and can stay with your pet all day if needed. I’ve cared for many dogs who become anxious when left alone, so I understand the patience, consistency, and reassurance they need to feel safe and comfortable. I’ve also cared for family and friends’ pets for years, helping with walks, feeding, playtime, medication when needed, and keeping them company. Whether your pet is energetic, shy, senior, or needs extra attention, I’ll treat them like one of my own and make sure they feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Since I’m not currently working, I have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to give pets my full attention. I’m home a lot, so I’m able to keep a close eye on them, stick to their routines, and make sure they get lots of care, playtime, and company throughout the day I live in a townhouse with my dog Roxy and my three kittens. Roxy is a small Chihuahua, very energetic, friendly, and used to being around other animals. My cats are also very social and comfortable in a multi-pet home. It’s a calm, pet-friendly space where animals are part of everyday life. I also love staying active with walks, trips to the dog park, and going to the beach when the weather’s nice. Pets staying with me would get lots of attention, care, and companionship in a safe, relaxed environment (with lots of cuddles)
About: *please note that if you have more than one animal Rover will increase the standard fee. Depending on the dogs/ages/breeds price can be negotiated* *Extended dog-sitting at your place is a dual service. Essentially house-sitting as I will be there the entire time so one less worry* I have had jobs both caring for pets in a daycare experience as well as walking and caring for pets overnight. I am natural with animals, especially; dogs. I understand positive reinforcement as well as keeping the dogs/cats under the same training as the owners. I believe animals should be treated with the same respect as our human counterparts. I have personally had a Dalmation and English Bulldog as my furry friends. I believe that doggy daycare / pet visitors should be the standard if the owners are unable to be home with them. Dogs can suffer from anxiety just like humans and it is important that we acknowledge this need. If you're here then that means you care about your pets well-being. Thank you 😊 I am not a "vacant" dog walker (or dog sitter) doing this for extra cash. I am doing it because I love to do it & I will provide your animal the best possible treatment according to it's needs. I only deal with one parent's animals at a time & I will establish a deep connection as if he/she was my own pet. I am looking for new best friends who need top-notch care. Your dog is also going to see an overall higher level of care with me. Better walks, better intimacy, more adventure. FYI: most people find me after suffering through subpar service. If you you’ve found me, you are probably looking for something better. Most people are going to be living their lives with your animals in tow, I'm going to be living my life for your animal. If you've gone through 2 or 3 sitters, look no further. I am exactly what you are looking for. *my service is for those who see their dogs no different than children and understand the anxiety animals can feel (& they way they act) when they are without their parents for extended periods of time* Thank you for your time. I am an independent contractor outside of Rover so I am able to work at my own times. Other than conflicting appointments my calendar is open. I prefer to meet your dog first with pets and snuggles (to establish familiarity) then proceed to walk or whatever other instructions are required of me.
About: I’m a reliable and caring animal lover with experience both as a pet owner and working in hospitality, where attention to detail and excellent care for others are essential. Having my own pet has taught me how important it is to provide animals with patience, consistency, and lots of love. I understand how much pets mean to their families and always treat them like my own. My background in hospitality has strengthened my responsibility, communication, and ability to create a safe and comfortable environment. I’m attentive to each pet’s unique personality and needs, whether that means energetic walks, playtime, or calm companionship at home. My goal is to make sure every pet feels happy, safe, and well cared for while their owners have complete peace of mind. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine. I already maintain an active lifestyle with daily walks and a structured schedule, so incorporating dog walks, check-ins, and pet sitting throughout the day works seamlessly for me. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals, and caring for them is something I prioritize in my routine. Because I also come from a hospitality background, I’m very attentive, responsible, and used to providing high-quality care and service. Whether it’s morning walks, midday check-ins, or evening visits, I make sure each pet gets plenty of attention, exercise, and care as if they were my own. care for every pet the same way their owner would in their own home. My goal is to keep their routine, comfort, and environment as consistent as possible so they feel safe and relaxed while you’re away. I take time to understand each pet’s specific needs, whether that’s feeding schedules, walk routines, playtime, medications, or simply giving them extra attention and affection. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat the space with the same respect and responsibility I would my own. I focus on creating a calm, loving environment where your pet receives personalized care, exercise, and companionship. I also like to provide a premium experience for both pets and owners. That means attentive care, regular updates and photos, clean and organized spaces, and making sure your pet feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for. I truly treat every pet as if they were my own.
“Katie did an amazing job with our 10 month old puppy. She was very patient and provided plenty of updates with pictures and videos. We will definitely book again and highly recommend her and Shinko as sitters.”

“ICassie and Merit did an awesome job with my blue heeler service dog that has some anxiety. She responded positively to both of them in my room and even went up to Merit in my room where she is very protective. They learned the command and routine to work with her and she looked for them when they were coming. Great communication both bt phone and text so we were on the same page. I had a very quick space to fill and they went above and beyond in their work with Kaliko. I highly recommend them and will use them again without hesitation Mahalo for outstanding work”

“Lyndi was so awesome and my dogs loved her! She was very responsive and very willing to help me with whatever I asked her to do. I would highly recommend Lyndi, and will definitely be calling on her again in the future!”

Your pets will be well cared for, properly fed and medicated if needed and played with. I have a degree in Marine Biology, I also have fish and aquatic life husbandry experience. No matter what kind of pet you have, I will make sure they are properly taken care of. I will provide daily photos and updates if wanted because I would want the same from my sitter. I understand how special pets are, and will only give yours the best care possible. Currently taking repeat customers only due to graduate school obligations - have lost star sitter status since not accepting new clients. My graduate studies research is weather dependent so my schedule isn’t always predictable. If scheduled ahead of time, I shouldn’t have any conflicts and will likely be able to accommodate your needs. Even on fieldwork days, morning and evening drop-ins aren’t an issue! I always make sure to lock the door when on walks or when finishing a drop-in. Your pet’s safety is my biggest concern. When on walks, I watch out for possible hazards. I will ask before letting your pets off-leash or around other dogs, to make sure they are safe. Your house will be secure to insure no one can escape! When in your home, I want to make sure your pet is comfortable so I won’t go after them, I will let them come to me when they’re ready. Having yours and their trust is important to me!
“Christina is a terrific caregiver to my older dog Bella. Bella loves taking walks with her. She knows Bella is up in age and is very careful to walk slowly with her. Christina is always on time and is excellent about letting me know how Bella did on her walk. I feel lucky to have found her to take care of my fur baby!”

About: Hello, my name's Rachel and I'm a 3rd year student at Drexel University. I have had pets since I was 10 years old. I just finished working at Penn Vet Working Dog Center in assisting to train working dogs that are trained for different disciplines such as; search and rescue, explosives, narcotics and medical detection. I'm experienced with very high energy and strong dogs. I believe I can handle and provide the best care for your dog. I believe both my profession and personal experience with dogs and cats has helped me gain the skills necessary to work with almost any dog. I have some experience caring for a blind and diabetic dog and feel it would not be an issue to aid those dogs with special needs.

About: I’ve always loved animals and have about a year of hands-on pet care experience. I’m responsible, patient, and attentive to each pet’s needs. By the end of our walk we’ll be best friends! I’m home for the summer from college! Pet care fits well into my weekly routine, and I enjoy making time to care for animals. I have a flexible schedule and can help with walks, feeding, playtime, drop-ins, and giving pets attention and companionship. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities. I’m attentive, responsible, and will always follow your pet’s routine, feeding instructions, and any special needs.

While I was raised with dogs. We recently lost our English Bulldog of twelve years and even though we would like to get another dog in the future we would be happy watching your pets in the mean time. We do have little kids. They are 2 and 4 years old. We would prefer to watching dogs that are use to little kids. I don't work till the afternoon so morning walks are a must. My goal is to tire them out in the beginning on the day. Your pets are like our family. They are allowed on couches and beds. They will be loved like I love my kids. thank you very much
About: My partner and I have a combined 30+ years experience taking care of dogs as neither of us have never not had a dog in our lives. We have a wide range of experience from training puppies to caring for senior dogs. We are also retired collegiate athletes so no amount of activity scares us away. I am a graduate student and my partner has a full time job, but I have very flexible hours and we have offset schedules so we have lots of availability between the two of us. We own a dog of my own so ee understand the responsibility of taking care of dogs. We are a dog lovers so we love being able to spend quality time with pets in addition to feeding, walking and letting them out.

About: I have taken care of and had pets since I was young. From dogs and cats, to birds and reptiles, I am the perfect candidate to get your dog, or anything else the care and attention it needs. I am very active and outside, and I love hiking, running, and walking around in general. Most importantly, I am very flexible. I would be happy to bring your pet as my companion for an adventure. I have been able to take care of puppies, any size dog, dogs with high energy, and even dogs with disabilities. I am very flexible, and usually spend at least some of my day walking, biking, running, and being outside. I prioritize pet care in my daily and weekly routine with my own pets, and make it a point to take them walking and take them everywhere I go. I have a car which makes it much easier to get around with them. I love taking them to socialize in public, grab a coffee, or take them running outside. When I housesit, I tend to spend a lot of time with the pets, and take more time to spend at home rather than having a busy schedule. With walks, I take them every day, and I cuddle them, feed them, socialize them, and clean up after them whenever is needed. In my own home I take care of my pets based on their personality and needs.

“Dan watches my 2 rambunctious Pitbulls and does an amazing job managing them! He takes them to a nearby park and works them out. It's a great relief to come home to 2 tired dogs. Will continue to work with dan!”

“Kathryn has been dog sitting my dog for awhile now and even though he is a large dog (outside her normal client base) she has been so good to him and gets him pup cups regularly. She hasn’t reported any issues with my dog and I know he isn’t perfect, like he tends to pull on his leash and sometimes barks at other dogs, but she has never reported any of this to me, which leads me to believe she is super understanding of his behavior and is an animal lover!! However, Kathryn does tend to show up late to walk him but besides that she has been such a great help to me and I am very grateful for her.”
