Although I am located in Waianae, I am willing to drive all over the island. My dog grooming studio is at my house, so I’m home most of the day. When I have multiple boarders I like to rotate them in the yard throughout the day. I have a kiddie pool as well that most dogs enjoy. I have a fenced yard and sturdy gates to keep everyone safe. I typically like to keep boarders from different families separate. If you’re comfortable with your dog being with others dogs, they will only play supervised to avoid any skirmishes. My Aussies are friendly but I only let them socialize if you’re ok with it.

I recently graduated with my BA in Psychology, have many nieces and nephews, and I love art & nature. I also love cooking and making homemade treats for my pets. Don't be surprised if you get cute photos of your pet from me! Will do my very best to keep your pup/kitty happy at all times. :) I am in school online and work a full time job, so I'll be able to check on your pets or walk your pets in the evenings in the week and weekends I am free. I have a friendly dog that your doggo may socialize with and I can always drop in on your pet for a home visit. I'll clean up any messes, make sure your pet gets the love and care it needs, and leave your home just as I found it before I leave. I will make sure to give your fur babies lots of love and affection as if they were my own. :)

About: Animals have always been a part of my life, and I can’t imagine a home without them. I’ve personally owned and cared for several dogs over the years (including both puppies and rescues) as well as a cat, so I’m very comfortable with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. In addition to my personal experience, I worked at a family-owned dog grooming salon as a dog bather. There, I cared for dogs of all breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments. My responsibilities included bathing, brushing, deshedding, dematting, and nail trimming/grinding. That experience helped me become confident handling dogs safely, reading body language, and making sure each pet felt as comfortable as possible. While I’m not a certified groomer or trainer, I’ve had a lot of hands-on experience and truly enjoy working with animals. Whether it’s walks, drop-ins, overnight care, or boarding, I treat every pet like they’re my own and aim to give them a safe, calm, and loving environment while you’re away. Pet care fits naturally into my daily routine because I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give each pet the attention they deserve. I care for every pet as if they were my own by following their usual routine, providing plenty of love, playtime, exercise, fresh water, and meals. Our tradgey struck when our original Rover sitter told us she could no longer watch our dog. “Tanya and her family cared for our senior and special needs doggies with the utmost care and concern. We were blessed to have got her as our sitter, we did a two night trial run to see if the doggies would adapt to their new boarding environment. From all the photos and conversations with Tanya the outcome was great and most of all very positive, so positive that we will be leaving them with her next month as we plan to go on a 1 week vacation which was long time in coming (3 years).
